BB Bold 9650 :: Hit Menu To Do Anything / Scroll Down / Can Hit Menu Button Again
May 21, 2010When I hit the menu to do anything and scroll down to something in it I can hit the menu button again and it does the same as selecting it with the trackpad.Is anybody having this happen to them too. I don't know if it is something new because I came from an old 8330. I used to hit menu and if I hit menu again the menu would go away.

I have heard that it isn't getting it at all, it is getting UMA or it is getting GAN-Lite. I rely on this connectivity so much that it will make the difference between me buying this new Bold or not.

Nov 16, 2012I am having big problems with my contacts. they are all stored in my phone, but everytime, one of my contacts call me it always comes up as unknown number, meanwhile i have their number and contact stored on my phone. or even when i dont have their number, it still comes up as unkown instad of just showing their number. this is extremly, bad and irritating as i never know who is calling me. Sep 24, 2012Dissappointed to find I can't disable the touch screen. I've had a Bold 9900 for just over a week now and it's starting to drive me crazy. On a call it went to loud speaker or hold phone function for whatever reason or call to somebody else at the same time or various other irritations. The worst thing is that I work in technical support and many people call me every day on Blackberry. So during the last week I deal with lots of unsatisfied and confused customers.Is there any possibility to turn off the touch screen in a call mode? Are there any other possibilities how to fix this problem?

For some reason, I am able to connect to WiFi, but when I do I am only able to use the internet. I am not able to use the WiFi to make calls or to send texts. My T-Mobile signal is pretty weak, so it would be nice to use the WiFi to make calls and send texts from home and work.

Jun 28, 2010I have a blackberry bold 9700 and its been fine for a month or so, all of a sudden after it has been working fine in the morning it stopped calling and sending texts, i cant receive anything either.
BBM works fine, internet works fine and email its just the calls and texts in and out????
I have restored the phone and done all necessary updates but it still doesn't work, the SIM card is fine as ive put it in another phone and it does everything it should.

Jul 7, 2012I have a Bold 9900. Of late, I have had a problem wherein I am unable to hear the phone's ring. The phone vibrates and I can see a call coming in. When I answer the call, I cant hear the person at the other end of the line, nor can the other person hear me. If I try ringing someone, I cant hear their phone ringing, but I get the message that we are connected, but cant have any conversation. When I do a full power off and restart, its all back to normal.

Lately when placing and receiving calls I cannot hear anything put dead air. No ring tone when calling out, or the voice of the caller when accepting a new call. To fix the issue I have pulled the battery. However, a few hours later the issue will start again.

Oct 26, 2011Some of the apps I've downloaded onto my new Bold 9930 with OS7 cannot be moved because the menu that allows me to move the app is missing. When I highlight the app in the"All" view and click on the BlackBerry button, no menu appears. It's as if the key is dead and totally non-responsive. This only happens to some of the apps I've downloaded and it doesn't matter the source. Some were from Appworld and some were downloaded from other sources. With the other apps, a menu with "Switch Application" at the top appears when I press the BlackBerry button. The "problem" apps are working ok in every other way and I've tried removing them and re-downloading them, but that did not solve the problem.
