BB Bold :: 9930 Receive A Little Black Icon And It Freezes?
Jun 1, 2012Everytime I browse on my Bold 9930 I receive a little black icon and it freezes. This lasts anywhere from 5 seconds to 30 seconds.

BB Bold :: 9930 Text Message Scrolling Freezes?
Nov 26, 2011I have a Blackberry Bold 9930 with Verizon. About a month ago, I started experiencing this issue. When I receive texts, and there are multiple texts from the same number, the thext screen freezes and no matter what I do, I can not scroll UP to see the previous messages. Touch screen or the touch pad does not work. You can visibly see the time stamps changing to previous messages but the messages do not scroll at all. You can still exit text messages and all other scroll works fine. I have had to hard reboot to get rid of the issue. Then it returns after a week or so later. I have updated the software via VZ when they sent an operating systems update.

Aug 7, 2012I can send emails using my blackberry, but I cannot receive them. The email account is hooked up to Outlook. I can receive emails using my gmail account just fine, but for some reason I am unable to get them when they come to my outlook account.

Sep 20, 2012I have two eamil accounts on my BB. A gmail account and a business email. Gmail is fine. Business address can send but hasn't received for the last 8 hours. Did the service books thing, pulled the battery 3 times, looked at all kinds of forums etc, and still nothing.

Aug 19, 2012I was issued a phone from my job. As of today my phone currently is not sending/receiving phone calls and i cannot check the voicemail. To make it a bit more clear, i have no phone icon nor voicemail icon. if i use the keyboard to input a number and dial it, it does nothing. if i try to call through contacts my phone freezes. I cannot get into the ringtone options either.This is the third time this has happened to me within the last 2 months. The first time it happened they couldnt help fix the issue and i had to send the phone in for a replacement. last time I called up and they walked through getting the phone totally reset.
So now that it has happened again i have decided to get on the forums and explain the issue and hopefully they can figure out if this is a glitch in the phone, known issue or whatever.. My Blackberry is not my main phone, i have a personal phone i use all the time for entertainment and chatting. This weekend i did not charge my blackberry due to lack of not using it. i also didnt charge it when i was on vacation a while back and this had happened to me as well. Here is the only thing i do every time which may or may not be the cause..i forget to charge the phone. the phone drains the battery enough to shut itself off. when i find out its dead, i plug it in to charge it. a small battery icon appears with a electric bolt through it. i leave it be for about 10 seconds and i want the phone to come to see if i have any missed calls so i press and hold the power button a few seconds. the phone boots up and viola. no phone icon to be found. IMO, this should not normally bring up any issue but this is exactly what has happened all three times. As i said earlier, this is my second phone that has had the same problem. I rarely ever use this phone except to do company business so i am not downloading any apps or games. i use the company phone about 17 minutes a month and check my outlook sync'd calander and emails.
BB Bold :: 9900 Freezes With Black Screen?
Mar 26, 2012My bold 9900 has recently started to go dark right after use. Sometimes it goes dark and still rings but I cannot see the caller ID but can answer and speak. At times the screen turns back on after two minutes, other times I have to do a battery pull. This has only started after I installed the official Bell Mobility OS 7.1.0.267 update a few days ago.

Aug 29, 2012Recently after updating my bb bold 9900 to os 7.1, my device would start to give blank black screens even though the phone is on and supposedly working, since the keyboards would light up. At first it didn't do this, however, it has been around 10 days since it started blanking out. It would take around 15 minutes or more before I can see the normal screen again. I thought it was just a normal "blackout" since some time it tends to do that, but it turned out it wasn't. Sometimes when I use it, it would also blank out, which is annoying especially when I'm using the messenger/texting..

Aug 31, 2010I had my Bold 9700 plugged into speakers and listening to Slacker like I have done in the past. Now when I try to make a call or receive a call the "Headset" icon flashes on and off as tho the headset is plugged in when nothing is plugged into the jack. This overrides speakerphone too. So basically I can receive and send a call but it cuts in and out quickly since it thinks the headset is taking over.
Not sure if this is a glitch or if something happened when listening to music. Nothing looks abnormal when I look into the headset port. I was thinking maybe I should update the software to see if its a software or bug.

Mar 24, 2012at several times a day a call alert shows up and the iPhone freezes. The Accept or Cancel buttons offered by the alert does not work nor the the home button, nor the restart button. My only way out is to force-restart the phone. While the call alert is on, (By "call alert" I am referring to a full black screen that displays a message saying something like "you have received a call from ###-####") the iPhone wont go to sleep, it overheats and the battery runs out fast. Maybe related to this problem... who knows... is that my Bluetooth does not work properly. Cant pair with a Jabra EasyGo headset. I have fully restored the system and the problem is still there.

Apr 3, 2012Everytime i recieve or make a call on my phone, the phone screen goes blank. i can answer the call but i cant end it as there is no screen. after the call has finished the phone freezes and the only way to restart the phone is to take out the battery.
PS i have done reset, master reset and updated the phone to the newest software available and i have only had the phone a few days.
