at several times a day a call alert shows up and the iPhone freezes. The Accept or Cancel buttons offered by the alert does not work nor the the home button, nor the restart button. My only way out is to force-restart the phone. While the call alert is on, (By "call alert" I am referring to a full black screen that displays a message saying something like "you have received a call from ###-####") the iPhone wont go to sleep, it overheats and the battery runs out fast. Maybe related to this problem... who knows... is that my Bluetooth does not work properly. Cant pair with a Jabra EasyGo headset. I have fully restored the system and the problem is still there.
After downloading Foursquare and on rebooting, I got the following error message "The application Foursquare has attempted to open a file connection which is not allowed by the application's permissions". On clicking OK, it switches to another alert screen whose contents aren't visible and then it returns to the same message above. I can't use the phone now. Tried removing and reinstalling the battery but the same problem persists.
I just got the new BB Curve 3G with OS6 and when I scroll to the clock, on the home screen, and enter the manage connections window from there...as I start scrolling down the blue highlight would disappear or it would complete freeze sometimes.
I've tried: - Closing my applications. - Battery reboot. - Looking for an update (there is none). - Exchanged the phone.
A friend showed me that while a text message window is open, I can tap the screen near the time, and an option will come up which allows me to call that contact. My daughter and I both have iPhone 4s's, but for some reason, when I tap the screen near the time while texting her, the option to call her does NOT appear. The only choices are "Email, Contact Info and Load Earlier Messages". I have deleted her contact info and recreated it, and it still is the same.
When you goto phone and select a person, it opens a window to hit the call button for that person - below it shows text messages - even deleted ones. want to remove that feature...
My message alert is really long and if someone call while I am on the phone and leaves a message all I hear is the alert and it overrides the person I am talking to.
The screen on the phone will go black. I do not know if its an application but I have talked to other EVO 3D users and this never happens to them. I already had exchanged my phone but it keeps happening. I do not know if it has to do with something I had downloaded from the market..
My bold 9900 has recently started to go dark right after use. Sometimes it goes dark and still rings but I cannot see the caller ID but can answer and speak. At times the screen turns back on after two minutes, other times I have to do a battery pull. This has only started after I installed the official Bell Mobility OS 7.1.0.267 update a few days ago.
Recently after updating my bb bold 9900 to os 7.1, my device would start to give blank black screens even though the phone is on and supposedly working, since the keyboards would light up. At first it didn't do this, however, it has been around 10 days since it started blanking out. It would take around 15 minutes or more before I can see the normal screen again. I thought it was just a normal "blackout" since some time it tends to do that, but it turned out it wasn't. Sometimes when I use it, it would also blank out, which is annoying especially when I'm using the messenger/texting..
The missed call screen freezes in the iPhone 4S. This happens to me all the time. I've reset the whole system, I've upgraded the iOS from 5.0.1 to 5.1.1 and nothing, the problem persists.
My iPhone freezes randomly every few minutes, especially when I try to do something, sometimes by itself as well, don't know why, it's been like that since last night, I never dropped it or anything of the sort so it really can't be a consequence of anything I did to it... My Torch freezes constantly...like every time I use it. I end up waiting for it to unfreeze. I get a small black box with a timer and it's been happening more and more. What the reason for this might be?
Recently my phone freezes when I am using it, it comes up with a small black egg timer symbol and it just kills my battery, i hear this is a common blackberry problem and it sometimes resolves itself when I pull the battery out the back, but surely this cannot be healthy for the phone to constantly pull the battery out whilst its still on?
If I want to make the Z5 a call and dial the number and pick up the phone, the screen goes black and I can do nothing more. It then responds to anything, not even on the Power button until the other ends the call. Then, the screen lights up again and it goes back all normal.

9810 torch the screen constantly freezes or has the little black square with the dial going around like its updating. It's very frustrating that every time I go to do anything on my phone either the screen is frozen or its updating. It wont even let me turn the screen on unless I open the keypad - freezes and updates when trying to hang up a call- takes two minutes to prep phone for every use.
I did a search and found threads on the led not blinking at all but couldn't find anything about if you can make it blink longer. I thought I remember seeing a setting for this but maybe it was on a different phone. Is there a way to make the missed call led blink longer?
Ive just got a new bold 9900, and i have set up call waiting, but cant seem to set an alert for it. So i still dont know when someone else is trying to get through.
the black screen is the one shows the number and the possible actions to do, but nothing happen even pressing cancel or accept, the only way i can solved is rebooting the iphone
Everytime I recieve a Text or have a missed call the alert for it wont pop up the only way i know i got a text is if i go to my inbox. How do I fix this?
I know we can change the call alert sound. That's easy enough to find. Has anyone found a way to change the chirp itself? I am speaking of the Talk Permit chirp. I figure if the DuraMax and DuraCore can change the sounds, we should be able to. They have like 6 or 7 changeable chirps in the event you don't like a loud beep. I personally would like a subtle tone when I have my ear piece in driving down the road or when I'm at work. An 80dB blast to the eardrum at 4000 Hz kind of stings.
