BB Bold :: 9780 Turns Off Randomly?
Sep 9, 2010My Blackberry bold 9780 keeps turning off randomly when the battery reaches under 50%. I brought a new battery, but still the same problem still happens. I cannot update the phone as the charging port in my phone has broke?

Jan 17, 2012Two months ago my Bold 9780 started switching off randomly, even if battery was still charged. I bought new batteries, original ones and it kept doing it. I use it quite a lot and while I write an email or on BBM it just dies completely and then I have to restart it by battery pull. It's not doing it all the time, every 5 minutes. So the batteries are new, the device has the latest update and I don't know what to do. I badly need the phone and have no time to take it to the repairs and all that?

Jul 26, 2011My blackberry bold that's a little over 5 months old Keeps randomly shutting off.. I looked at other peoples posts about theirs turning off and theirs manages to reset itself. Mine will just totally go black screen and that's it.. You can press all the buttons you want and try turn it on it wont do anything. You need to do a battery pull. And its getting worse, it does it about 6-15 times a day now.. Very very annoying cause the darn thing takes 5 miss to turn on! I notice it mostly does it most often whenever IM sending a a text, or browsing the web. Already reset the phone and nothing helped.

My Network is Circuit Switched Preferred, but i would like to know if anyone knows what these mean and which is the best for SMS Texts to be sent over using which one?

Dec 19, 2011its been a month now that i've changed my sim card, and iv stopped receiving emails on my device. when i go on the email setup app, it ask's me to enter my password for my email address that was on the device and when i do it says sorry unable to continue your session log in again. but when i try do that it still says the same thing. And for my sim card, i have the blackberry email plan so i should be able to receive emails.

The effect of this is that the phone remains linked to the car until the car system eventually shuts down.If I receive a call to my mobile during this period, the phone rings but I am not able to hear anything through the phone earpiece. BB Bold 9700 :: Bold 9700 Switched Off After Connecting To USB Port
Jun 2, 2010I have recently purchased this 9700 (3 weeks ago) and am generally very pleased with the device. BUT If I leave the BB 9700 connected overnight to the computers USB Port for charging, and, obviously, after a few hours the computer will go to sleep, thus turning off the power to the USB port In the morning I find that the BB is: Off and will not turn on, unless it is power reset. In other words I have to open up the back and pull the battery for a second then after It is put back in the red light will display nevertheless it will turn on and be fine once it boots back up. There are no other indications or problems. I notice that other people have similar complaints with their BB's.

Oct 16, 2010My Blackberry Bold 9780 keeps turning itself off, in my pocket or when I put it down on a table. At first I thought it might be a problem with the battery so I bought a new genuine battery for Blackberry and put it in my phone but I was still having the same problem. I decided to send a tweet to @BlackberryHelp on Twitter and they advised me to do a security wipe, which I did, and still my phone kept turning itself off. I sent them another tweet and another message but they haven't replied. I'm getting a little bit, put it this way, frustrated that when i've paid for a premium smartphone at over £400 I'm having problems after owning the phone for just over 6 months. The phone is therefore still under warrenty but I thought I would just put a message on here first before I contact them to see if it is a small fix that I can do myself rather than living without my Blackberry while it's sent off to be fixed.
I am getting quite fed up now because, I get the Blackberry logo up and I have to wait for the bar to go across (see below image) which takes AGES. I'd hate to rely on the phone in an emergency! After the BBM and e-mail outages not so long ago and now this, i'm SERIOUSLY considering scrapping my Blackberry all together and buying the new iPhone 4S.

Mar 31, 2012Purchase new sim in Germany but cannot verify Blackberry ID..when attempted to log in with the correct ID Error message read "Blackberry ID servise is temporary unavailable.
Further findings show that my phone not connected to Blackberry Enterprise Server.
Every other connections...i.e Wi fi and other connected.
