I decided to update my 9700 to os 6 today and it was going fine until it got to the 'Restore Progress - Blackberry Messeger 1/1 items" Its been stuck there for about a hour now! My device shows the PC & BB icons as if its connected to the PC but when I open My computer, it isn't showed there? I havent disconnected it and scared it may have corrupted.
View 3 RepliesI was trying to update my phone to 5.1, and about 10 minutes in, the update stopped making any progress. I waited 20, maybe 30 more minutes, and then I tried resetting my phone. ITunes then said my phone was in recovery mode, so I needed to restore settings. Now it's stuck again, with less progress shown. What might be wrong?

I am on product code 0599399, updated my Ovi suite to Nokia Suite 3.3.86 and started the process to download and update my N8 running on anna to belle. It finished downloading the large update file and went through the process of backing up my contents and after that I got an error message "Something went wrong" Next screen it tells me that "Your phone is restarting" (with a couple of warning messages) but I have been on this screen for at least 45 mins now without any progress. My phone is still behaving as per norm but I'm not sure about what to do next. It doesn't seem like it had started the process of updating my phone yet but I'm being given instructions not to touch the phone or even disconnect the cable.

However, it's been "installing" for 8 hours now, and it's stuck on 14% Overall backup progress. And 0% Social Feeds.Also, not sure if it's related. (probably is) but my Signal is off and i have no network connection. And I've got good coverage usually at home. I realised the problem about 7 hours in, after it said it would only be 2. So I battery pulled it, and it didn't work, then I tried battery and sim pulling, that didn't work. I've tried hooking it up to my blackberry desktop. It can't pick the device up because of it.
View 9 Replies View RelatedToday my JB'd 3G on 3.1.2 went into a funky state and I attempted to reboot. Since then I've been stuck on the Apple logo at start up and nothing.
So, i put the phone in DFU mode and Itunes 9 is giving me the option to "Update & Restore", HOWEVER, I dont want to do this because I want to stay on 3.1.2 for obvious reasons. I also have been reading stuff about SHSH but I have no clue what this is so one can assume I never did anything prior regarding SHSH.
When itunes has the pop up on the screen saying "update and restore" can I hold "shift and click "update&restore" to choose a 312 ipsw, or is that option only available if restoring without being in DFU mode.
this morning when i woke up, my iphone was OFF. When i tried to switch it on, it didn't, and went to recovery mode .. I tried lots of softwares to leave this mode, but no success ! I tried to restore my phone, using the last itunes didn't work (either in DFU and recovery) ... It's extracting files on itunes, the apple appears on my phone BUT no progress bar !! So it's not recovering ... I tried like everything, you're my last chance ! (i'm using ios 7.1.1). I also tried on different computers, with different cables, no way ! Did i miss something ?Â

I have searched through the forums but not seen anything related to the problem i'm having. I have a curve 8900 on orange, the problem is; When i turn on the BB, it gets past the initial red light stage and when the OS actually goes to load, it will load to 3/4 of the way along the progress bar and just stop, constant reboots and battery pulls it will stil load to 3/4's and stop. I have tried using the application loader from command prompt as described in some threads on here and using the JLCmder, using the plug in and press next when the red light comes on, this process works untill the aplication loader tells the device to reboot and it loads again, cos it gets stuck 3/4's of the way, the application loader cannot continue and finish, it just sits there constantly trying to connect to the phone.

I have been waiting and hoping the battery runs out, but it hasn't and it's still stuck with the apple logo on top and 35% filled progress bar below the logo. What do i do? And i have tried holding the sleep button and home button together too. My sleep button is not exactly working.

I've searched what I think are all the threads on here relating to this, but I'm still stuck. I'm able to connect to the device if I run Loader.exe like a user suggested, but I don't know how/where to get software to load onto the device. All the places I've searched for an OS says I need to go into the device to find information about it. Well, I can't get into the device to do that. So, how do I know what OS to download and install? I really want to exhaust all possibilities before I have to completely wipe the device because I don't have a current backup. But, even if I wipe the device, I'm going to need to download an OS which I can't do now.

Now my iPhone won't update, restore or reset to factory settings... it is stuck in restore mode with the iTunes logo and cable showing on the screen.Â

UPDATE: could reset the iPhone and looks like it works, still don't know what happened during update and if everything is installed correctly. But for now looks like working ok.
I've only had my bold a couple of months and all has been working great. However I've woken up this morning to find it has rebooted itself and it was stuck on the loading screen about 3/4 loaded. I've done a battery pull twice and it still gets stuck at the same place. Help!
The system seems to be locked on the "Home Screen" (the screen with the picture background). You can hold down the blackberry button and it will bring up a menu where I can read my email and make calls (the trackball works here), but I can't select anything on the home screen, or on the large list of icons.

After upgrading ios 5.1. I cannot update apps on iphone so I tried to solve this problem.... rebooting, all resetting, all network resetting etc. But I cannot handle this. When apps are being updated I can see waiting under icon but does not progress any more. Also I cannot delete apps waiting under icon on iphone and itunes. x mark does not appear on these apps but I can see x mark on other apps.

I was receiving multiple texts and my phone froze with the indicator light still blinking. I pulled the battery, and now my phone loads up to 3/4 of the way and just freezes. I tried a soft reboot, and multiple battery pulls nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

I can scroll thru the list and open, reply to my other friends, but not the one im communicating with at that moment. I press the trackpad a ton of times and it just wont open. Even if I receive a new text, it still wont open.Can anyone diagnose this problem and tell me what I should do? I'm sick of doing the 5min battery pulls.
