IPhone 6 :: Update To 8.1.2 Failed / Unknown Error (17) - Stuck In Restore Mode

I tried to update my iPhone 6 to the latest iOS 8.1.2 via lightning cable, but it failed for some reason because of an unknown error (17).
Now my iPhone won't update, restore or reset to factory settings... it is stuck in restore mode with the iTunes logo and cable showing on the screen.Â

I tried to update my iPhone 6 to the latest iOS 8.1.2 but it failed for some reason. Just went to update my iphone 4 (32gb) from 4.0.1 to 4.0.2 to be greeted yet again with 'update failed, unknown error' followed by iphone in recovery mode.Now, my 3GS did this on 4.0 and 4.0.1, my 4 has done this on 4.0.1 and now 4.0.2.
I dont mind, I have backups but I also have 16gb+ of audio. What is going on? is this something with my laptop or a fault with ios4 updates? Im running latest, 32 bit version of itunes on windows 7.I've tried restoring and updating twice now unsuccesfully.

I've tried everything to fix this. I've updated all of my software and everything like the apple site said too but everytime it get about 30 minutes to an hour into restoring the phone it comes up and says error 9006.

I tried to update my iPhone software (after successfully backing up to iCloud, and then successfully updating iTunes software) but got a 1604 error message. The phone is stuck in recovery mode, and all attempts to restore the phone have resulted in failure. I keep getting the same error message. Basically, the phone never gets past "preparing to restore." I am linking my iPhone 4 to a PC Windows XP Professional, with up-to-date software. This is the third time I've tried (and failed) to update the iPhone software, though the other two times I was able to restore. This time nothing seems to be working.

I recently downloaded IOS 8 from my developer account, and i got tired of all the crashes so i decided to restore back to IOS 7.1.1 , and so i downloaded the latest IOS 7 IPSW , entered DFU Mode and i held down option on my mac and clicked "Restore" , chose my IPSW, but halfway through iTunes froze. I waited for about 40 minutes but then i needed to go, so i took it out without a choice.
I came back and it was in Recovery mode,i tried the same steps, but it keeps freezing at the exact same moment.
I tried both of my mac's USB ports, two lightning bolt cables, another Windows PC, nothing seems to work.
The strange thing is, when i try to restore it on my Mac it just freezes in the middle, but when i try to restore it on my PC it just gives me an error.
The error is:" The iPhone "iPhone" cannot be restored.An unknown error occurred. Error number 14".
I have everything updated,i tried to restore when it is in recovery mode,after i downloaded the IPSW from iTunes,tried downloading from multiple sources,nothing seems to work.

I was updating the phone to 5.1(i think) from 4.4(kitkat). Half way through, it says ERROR: Update Failed.Â
I plug it in the computer and attempt to fastboot/recovery mode/ SUS but it doesnt register under the software. (No device detected)

However, i did not unlock bootloader or do anything to void my warrenty. Will sony be able to aid me in restoring my phone? I have backed up my data on my computer so that will not be a problem.Â
I have shut off the phone for 2hours before attempting to SUS it, using the "Power + Volume UP" key.

i have tried EVERYTHING to fix this problem. i downloaded tiny umbrella, i added permissions in the firewall,i installed the latest itunes, i added and removed lines from my hosts file, and it still just gives me unknown error 3194 when updating my phone and secure link to itunes store failed when running diagnostics. i have two rules in my firewall at this point and i'm pretty sure apple could steal just about anything off of my computer by now with all the access ive given it. i run as administrator, no cigar. same problem. i've re-started my computer al of 12 times now and still not working. here's what the diagnostics is giving me:

it says itunes is not enabled on fire wall but i beg to differ. like i mentioned earlier: two rules have been created to allow it.it says "network connection timed out" then says "Last successful iTunes Store access was 2012-03-25 11:56:05." thats only a minute before the diagnostics test. dunno if that means anything to you guys, but to me it means itunes has fallen off the rocker.

I have an iPhone 4 and it says a message that I have to restore the thing for it to receive messages and calls so I followed the warning message and when I restore my iphone the progress bar stuck in the middle and itunes says it could not restore the iPhone because an unknown error occurs error (2). I tried to restore my 3Gs. It was jailbroken on 3.1.3. The restore failed. I tried using tiny umbrella and RecBoot and it still said i could only restore and upgrade, so i decided after trying that a bunch of times to just do the manual reset from within the settings on the phone. It was on the apple logo with the spinnging thing for like an hour, and now its just stuck on the apple logo. I put it into DFU and tried exiting DFU (like i did earlier) using recboot but now it just wont leave the apple logo.

I have a 3g iphone 4.2. It was unlocked and jailbroken. I was using tmobile so I needed to have it unlocked but I recently changed to sprint. I wanted to restore the phone and find a way to use my tmobile sim card for sprint but when I clicked restore. It had the 1015 error . I tried it one more time and now it is stuck in restore mode. It shows an apple symbol with a bar underneath that is clear.
