Just went to update my iphone 4 (32gb) from 4.0.1 to 4.0.2 to be greeted yet again with 'update failed, unknown error' followed by iphone in recovery mode.Now, my 3GS did this on 4.0 and 4.0.1, my 4 has done this on 4.0.1 and now 4.0.2.
I dont mind, I have backups but I also have 16gb+ of audio. What is going on? is this something with my laptop or a fault with ios4 updates? Im running latest, 32 bit version of itunes on windows 7.I've tried restoring and updating twice now unsuccesfully.
i have tried EVERYTHING to fix this problem. i downloaded tiny umbrella, i added permissions in the firewall,i installed the latest itunes, i added and removed lines from my hosts file, and it still just gives me unknown error 3194 when updating my phone and secure link to itunes store failed when running diagnostics. i have two rules in my firewall at this point and i'm pretty sure apple could steal just about anything off of my computer by now with all the access ive given it. i run as administrator, no cigar. same problem. i've re-started my computer al of 12 times now and still not working. here's what the diagnostics is giving me:

it says itunes is not enabled on fire wall but i beg to differ. like i mentioned earlier: two rules have been created to allow it.it says "network connection timed out" then says "Last successful iTunes Store access was 2012-03-25 11:56:05." thats only a minute before the diagnostics test. dunno if that means anything to you guys, but to me it means itunes has fallen off the rocker.
I installed some apps in a 5800xm, but since yesterday i cant install any app: i got this URL...it say Installation failed, unknown error: 2148532241.I tried to reinstall ovi suite beta, and I restored the default settings in the phone but still got that error, I can not install anything even if I install through Pc Suite.what can i do before i try to hard reset?

I just bought my iphon last night & tried doing it`s first update this morning. I got an error message that the update failed & now my iphone only shows a pic of a usb cable with an arrow pointing to the itunes logo.I already tried holding down the on off buton & the home button like the instructions say. Problem is that when the instructions say I should be at the part where itunes is again recognizing my iphone, my itune is not recognizing my iphone. So I am stuck. Ovi Store has released new updates for E63. When i try to install the update, i'm getting an error. It says "Unknown Error: -12". i tried few times installing the update but failed.

When I try to update an app I type my apple ID password and a box pops up with "Unknown error." but I can still log into my Apple ID elsewhere, so I know the password is right.

Recently i was updatin my Z2 with a wifi conection, but after a while it stopped downloading the update and it showed me this message: "Error - Update failed", and now i cant use it, i tried to reset it with the reset botton but it didn´t work so now i don´t know what to do,

Am trying to update my bb but when the module is been download, it always stop on the way. The report is "An error has occur when dowloading software for your device.lease, check your internet connection or try later, if the problem persist". I have a very good working internet connection. I have tried everything posible but still having the same. The whole module to download is 821 and the module already downloaded is 710.
after dropping my Iphone 4 on the floor it can't connect to my PC, the error i am getting in Itunes is "Itunes was not able to establish connection to this iphone, caused by unknown error 0xE8000001". Itunes suggest to go into an applestore and get it solved but since third party has replaced the screen will apple not touch it....I have tred to uninstall itunes after closing down a few apple files via "task manager" and hard restored the Iphone but the phone will not acctivate, only get to the screen saying "connect to itunes". when i plug in a fully functional USB cable in a fully functional USB plug in my PC (windows 7, 64bit) does the phone connect and disconnect with the PC a few times, sometimes it keep on connecting/disconnecting but when the phone able to establish connection do i get a box saying "error 0xE8000001" and when clicking on the phone can i see its charging the battery but no possibilities to make a firmware restore or anything els. (have only the option to "eject" the iphone). is it possible to go one more step back than "hard restore" so the phone need to reinstall all hardware ect ect?

When I try and set up a new email address I get a "Update Failed" error message. The email address is valid and works fine on my computer. The same email address also worked fine on another Blackberry device previously.
I have been trying to configure my blackberry curve 9360 to my OWA account since the past 3 days, tried almost all available permutations and combination of putting in details to the set up menu on "email setup" on BB.When I try to enter just the email address and the password, the error message I get is "Update failed!".But when I misspell my domain (xxxxxx@DOMAIN.com) and enter the correct password, it displays the "I will provide the settings" where it gives me the option to enter my OWA URL (https://mail.xxxxxx.com), user id (domain<username>, password .I am 100% confident that the credentials i entered is correct, but still the error i get while i submit for configuration is" Cannot log in. I'm trying to update to 4.0 with jailbreak using a custom cooked ipsw file with Snowbreeze 1.6.1 and keep getting error "The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (2)."
I've tried both DFU mode AND Recovery mode. I also remembered to remove Saurik's server ip in the hosts file. I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling iTunes and rebooting. I even removed WiFi Sync software thinking that might have affected it somehow. I've uninstalled my vs/firewall software. NOTHING seems to work.
