BB Curve :: 8900 Not Booting, Stuck On 3/4 Progress Bar?
Aug 17, 2010
When i turn on the BB, it gets past the initial red light stage and when the OS actually goes to load, it will load to 3/4 of the way along the progress bar and just stop, constant reboots and battery pulls it will stil load to 3/4's and stop,I have tried using the application loader from command prompt as described in some threads on here and using the JLCmder, using the plug in and press next when the red light comes on, this process works untill the aplication loader tells the device to reboot and it loads again, cos it gets stuck 3/4's of the way, the application loader cannot continue and finish, it just sits there constantly trying to connect to the phone.
I have searched through the forums but not seen anything related to the problem i'm having. I have a curve 8900 on orange, the problem is; When i turn on the BB, it gets past the initial red light stage and when the OS actually goes to load, it will load to 3/4 of the way along the progress bar and just stop, constant reboots and battery pulls it will stil load to 3/4's and stop. Last night I fell asleep with my phone next to me, and I know that this isn't very smart but when I woke up my phone was off and the red led was flashing. When I tried booting it, it did nothing, just flashing it's red light. I tried charging it, but with no succes either. So I have no idea what went wrong. Could it be that I rolled over my phone and that I messed up something inside? I searched the internet looking for solutions and I found out that other people were having the same problem. However, I didn't really find any answers. Then I tried connecting my Blackberry to my computer. The computer did notice my phone was connected, but the Blackberry Desktop Software failed to connect to the phone. It just showed some error.I found out that when I kept the phone charging, with no battery in it, a white immage with a 'no battery sign' appeared. Does that mean something's wrong with my battery?
My blackberry is not booting/starting up. Initially I thought my battery must have depleted, but when I connect my BB to the wall charger the red light at the top right corner pops up, its there for 10 seconds or so. Then the screen shows the phone is charging for 4-5 seconds, post which the screen goes blank, completely blank. I have left it for couple of hours, but nothing happens.
Everytime the charger is disconnected and reconnected the same thing happens.
Even when I connect my BB with the USB cable same things happen - Red light for 10 seconds, shows its charging for 4-5 seconds and then black screen. The phone is not booting/starting up even after I had left it with charger for 2-3 hrs.
this morning when i woke up, my iphone was OFF. When i tried to switch it on, it didn't, and went to recovery mode .. I tried lots of softwares to leave this mode, but no success ! I tried to restore my phone, using the last itunes didn't work (either in DFU and recovery) ... It's extracting files on itunes, the apple appears on my phone BUT no progress bar !! So it's not recovering ... I tried like everything, you're my last chance ! (i'm using ios 7.1.1). I also tried on different computers, with different cables, no way ! Did i miss something ?Â
so this morning i updated my iphone 4s to ios7.1.3 and halfway through the progress bar it got stuck. It has been stuck for about 4 hours now. I have been waiting and hoping the battery runs out, but it hasn't and it's still stuck with the apple logo on top and 35% filled progress bar below the logo. What do i do? And i have tried holding the sleep button and home button together too. My sleep button is not exactly working.
I decided to update my 9700 to os 6 today and it was going fine until it got to the 'Restore Progress - Blackberry Messeger 1/1 items" Its been stuck there for about a hour now! My device shows the PC & BB icons as if its connected to the PC but when I open My computer, it isn't showed there? I havent disconnected it and scared it may have corrupted.
I was trying to update my phone to 5.1, and about 10 minutes in, the update stopped making any progress. I waited 20, maybe 30 more minutes, and then I tried resetting my phone. ITunes then said my phone was in recovery mode, so I needed to restore settings. Now it's stuck again, with less progress shown. What might be wrong?
My BB was rebooting after installing an update of BB app world but suddenly stuck and the reboot wasn't continued...I pulled out the battery again and again but the reboot is stuck...
I am on product code 0599399, updated my Ovi suite to Nokia Suite 3.3.86 and started the process to download and update my N8 running on anna to belle. It finished downloading the large update file and went through the process of backing up my contents and after that I got an error message "Something went wrong" Next screen it tells me that "Your phone is restarting" (with a couple of warning messages) but I have been on this screen for at least 45 mins now without any progress. My phone is still behaving as per norm but I'm not sure about what to do next. It doesn't seem like it had started the process of updating my phone yet but I'm being given instructions not to touch the phone or even disconnect the cable.
I have a big problem on my blackberry. My battery died last night. i went to charge it this morning and about half an hour later i turned my phone on. It got past the loading page and got stuck on the Tmobile startup screen. I cannot see my main home screen and pressing any of the buttons does not work either. Yet i can hear text messsages coming to my phone but cannot see them. Before the Tmobile startup screen a message appears saying 'media card inserted.' I took it out and it said 'media card removed.' I have restarted my blackberry by taking the battery out many times now it is not loading to the homepage.
I was taking a picture and the screen went totally white. I've tried pulling the battery twice and the blackberry reboot bar runs all the way through and it goes to a white screen again. I can't get it to do anything. I've never had this happen before.
Iphone 5 is stuck after a software update, now the only thing I see is the grey apple logo and a progress bar under it bit it doesn't move and iTunes says "waiting for Iphone".
I have a 8900 on AT&T and i am using a iMac computer. I recently updated my desktop software and then it told me i have an update available for my 8900. I went ahead a performed a backup before and then the update started. It failed and the phone is now stuck on a the Blackberry Platform 4.2.0.108. I cant get out of it and when ever i click a app a message appears Quote:
I am trying to enter the PIN code but the Num Lock is On and I cannot switch it oftherfor cannot use my phone. I have read the phone instructions re ALT and Left SHIFT -no good. I also tried removing the battery. -nope, didn't fix it.
I recently got a new blackberry curve and today I started to have some trouble with it. I made a voice note in media to try it out and then when I deleted it it got stuck like that. Its been "deleting" the voice note for hours now and I can't go or use anything in the media section now. The rest of the phone works fine though, but its really annoying that I can't listen to music or look at my pics anymore.
yesterday when i was taking pictures with my Phone, it randomly rebooted and it got stuck at the booting screen with the LG Logo and the screen turns black and the LG Logo reappears, i have searched the internet and it seems like its a boot loop that so many people have had, i have the LG G4 Dual Sim international Model, i contacted LG Care center and they told me they must erase everything on the phone and i dont want that to happen cause i have taken so many pictures and videos that i dont want them to get deleted that easily.
my Nexus 5 all of a sudden. My phone wouldn't boot up and is stuck at the google logo and would not go further no matter how long i wait. I tried going to the recovery mood which i did but when i selected recovery mode using the vol up and down keys to navigate and hit on power button nothing happened, just a blank screen. I can soft reset or hard reset my phone. All i see is a blank screen if i try doing a soft or a hard reset and if i try to power on normally all i see is the Google logo.
Using Android 4.4.4 No rooted
I cant figure out if this is a software issue or a hardware issue. I read a few posts about people talking about the power button. The power button seems to be all fine.
I tried updating blackberry msg, twitter and blackberry protect through app world, it asked for a reset after the installation, the phone got stuck on the boot screen, did battery pull a couple of times and still it was getting stuck at that exact point, finally reloaded the OS and it still didnt bulge, tried a couple of other OS downgrades and it's still stuck on the boot screen at that exact point
My Curve 8900 shut down over the weekend. It won't come back on. It goes off and when I press the power button, the red light comes one, the backlit screen with the hourglass comes on and then it goes off again. A little while later, it starts the cycle over again, backlit blank screen, hourglass spins, bb shuts off.
I just jailbreak and unlocked then I went to do a master reset and delete everything now it is stuck at the apple booting screen, and sometimes I get a little loading circle. Itunes wont recognize it.
My Zylo's screen is now blank?! I've taken the battery out and re-booted after a few minutes - the usual log on and graphics appear but then the screen goes blank instead of showing the usual main menu.
anyone here facing this problem before? after download the update and start to restart. when the phone is booting, the red triangle warning suddenly prompt out and stuck over there.

I had an 8310 and just bought an 8900 brand new off of eBay. I used the 8310's speakerphone A LOT for listening to music and loved it! I always took the back of the phone off too so that it wasn't coming through 2 little holes through the top. Is the sound quality and volume of the 8900 equal to or greater than the 8300 with its batter door off?
Updating to the latest Device Software and Its hanging on the Restore Progress. Content Store 163 of 541 items but the bar is one square away from the end, and its a not moving. No movement on Phone either, just frozen with PC to Phone connect image.
