Mar 24, 2010Every time I register a new email in my BIS network, it appears in my blackberry as a newly created application. Does this drain resources and battery?

Jan 28, 2010hey i just got this 9700 and when i put in my simcard i dont get the blackberry email telling me my phone is registered i tryed changing my devise and i tryed sendinng the service books and i also tryed reloding the fw nothing seems to work.

Sep 3, 2010I have Outlook 2007 on my desktop computer and use BT as a service provider and for my email, my Blackberry supplier is Vodafone and I use BIS.I have noticed that if my Blackberry receives an email first I don't get the same email delivered to my desktop. If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.

Aug 28, 2010When I try to turn on my Bold 9700 the load bar only shows the OS load to about 1/4 of the way through and the phone shuts of and continues to restart and shut off without ever turning on completely. Is this phone dead? There is no damage to the phone, I turned it off full power down last night before I went to bed unplugged and this is what I woke up to.

Jan 4, 2010I just got my 9700 less than a week ago, then I woke up this morning to make a phone call. After the call, my phone just turned off, and since then, it's been trying to power on. The BlackBerry screen will show, along with the loading bar, but it'll only load about 1/4 of the way, then the screen flashes white, then turns off, and does the whole thing over again. It's been going on for about 45 mins now.
I've also done the battery/sim pull.
BB Bold 9700 :: Power Cycle / Rebooted Itself
Feb 10, 2010Twice yesterday afternoon and once this am my 9700 power cycled / rebooted itself. This is a pain as I have berry buzz and have to reconfigure my profile as the settings are gone after a power cycle. Do I have a virus? I have Quickpull installed but not configured to automatically run. Do I need to install Quickpull? Any help would be appreciated.

Jan 24, 2010The battery life on my phone has been amazing. HOWEVER today I had about one bar left on the battery indicator and my phone just shut off unexpectedly when I was on a phone call. I couldn't get it to turn on so I did a battery pull and it did. Then... when I turned it back on it said "Power to Low for Radio Use".I'm a newbie to the BlackBerry world so: Do our phone just shut of with no warning? Is the "Power to Low for Radio Use" a normal thing? I would think there would be some kind of low battery warning before our phone just dies.

Feb 6, 2010I keep getting OLD emails on my BB since this morning. I have hotmail and gmail two email accounts registered on the BB. The old emails I keep getting are from my hotmail account only. Some emails went as far back as 2007! I wonder if this has something to do with the BB server.
I also noticed that my BB stopped synchronising with my hotmail acc anymore since I'd upgraded to 9700 from 9000. For example, the emails in my hotmail acc used to get deleted when I choose delete "on mailbox and handheld" on my 9000, but this doesn't work on the 9700 anymore. I have to log on to my hotmail acc from my PC to delete read emails. what's wrong with my BB?

Jul 2, 2010I have been trying to figure this one out for a while. I have two email accounts link to my berry. Both are AOL email accounts. The problem is that when I try o send an email and select from which one to send it from I now have four choice, they are doubling up. For example for email one it shows up as xxxx@aol.com and then xxxx@AOL.com. The same thing happens for my calendars. Each account shows up twice, so in essence it splits them up and I have 4 separate calendars. What can I do to get rid of the extra accounts that show up and correctly show only the two emails(and associated calendars)on my berry.I am at a lost with this one.PS. Went to the blackberry BIS website to make sure I did not type each email in twice when I registered them and it correctly only shows the two emails that are registered.

With an OS v5.0.I have a corporate email set up through "Enterprise Activation" and I have set up my personal emails through the Email Wizard.The problem is: all the emails go to the Main Inbox. So in the Main Inbox, I have a mix of corporate emails and personal emails.The wizard also created different inbox for my personal emails, so I can access them individualy. But there is no way for me to get the personal emails out of the Main Inbox. Or creating a new Inbox for the Corporate emails.

When I receive a new email I go to click into the message but when its loaded it from a previous email and not the email I am trying to access. Then if I know I do not want to open the email and just delete when I click to delete it deletes a previously saved email or bbm message.
