Is anyone aware of any BLE(bluetooth low energy)/low power consumption stereo headsets? I am currently using a Jabra Clipper but I'm certain it does not support BLE. As after an hour and 40 minute indoor run with Moto's chest strapped HRM, display always on, backlight all the way down, sampling set to two seconds, my MA only has 50% battery remaining after starting fully charged.8GB running .78
View 3 RepliesI purchased a pair of S10-HD (allegedly) stereo headphones yesterday. I paired them with my iMac/OS10.6.8, but they only play in mono. My other bluetooth headphones from Creative play stereo just fine, so why does my S10-HD only play in mono?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've read the owners manual and followed the instructions. My wife and colleagues have done so, too (as they have the same headset). And, yes, we've tried re-setting the device as well. I've also called Motorola tech support -- and even got through to Level 2 Support. They couldn't figure it out either. The manual's instructions clearly do not match the functionality of the H730 hardware. How to stop the rather annoying voice prompts.

I was wearing them today at the gym, made a phone call on them after the gym, and was listening to Howard Stern at work when the batteries started dying. No problems - was using them continuously for over 3.5 hours. I plugged them in, charged them for 4 hours, and now they won't turn back on. When I plug them in, the charging light comes on, then the blue "charge complete" light comes on after a couple of minutes, but when I try to turn them on, I get nothing. I purchased these because they were advertised as "sweat proof", but I'm beginning to think not. So my question is this, Motorola, am I doing something wrong, or, as I've found mentioned in several places in these forums, is there a design issue with your product?

I plugged it into the computer to see if I had inadvertently killed the battery. The white charging light comes on, but the display doesn't show the battery percentage graphic, and nothing happens when I push the power button. The Motorola charger is at home, so I can't try that until after work.

View 15 Replies View RelatedReceived a new 16GB Motoactv this evening. Completed set up of MotoCast on my MAC. Unit was working fine, GPS / Radio etc.
Then checked for software update, it found 4.56.76, downloaded the sw and started to update. After about 30mins the MAC had a box saying updating, do not disconnect and the screen of the unit seems to be cycling. Initially I'd see the red batwings then an image of the unit and the progress bar underneath. The yellow moves about 1/3 along the bar then stops, after a minute or so the unit seems to power cycle > batwings > and so on....
After about 45 mins I disconnected the unit from the USB/MAC, tried a start + pwr reset but I still only get to this cycling mode (batwings > image + progress bar). Unit was charged for about an hour before I started the initial set up.
I've had a MOTOACTIVE for about a month now and I still haven't gotten to grips with the Pace & Power Zone settings. I could be wrong but to me it seems like they're just not working.In the Pace Zone settings the lower and upper limits are all set to meaningless values and I've tried a number of times to set them manually with no luck. Then the Power Zones Templates are completely blank and I am unable to set anything at all.

The best product to date i have used for tracking my gym session.I have noticed that everytime i press the power button, the volume increase and the music section starts ups. Very hard to track my gym work majority of the time as it stops the start button to work.I have updated to the latest version, no change in behaviour.Powering off is not an option as it automatically goes into bootloader mode, very hard to get it out of bootloader mode.

It does this whether it is paired with anything or not. it will stop during a call or listening to music, but when nothing is going on, the beeping kicks in.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI found this headset among some items my wife was throwing out. I plugged in the charger and very quickly there was a solid green light circle showing. I left it on the charger, not knowing what the light meant. after all day on the charger there was no change so I unplugged it and began looking for instructions. I secured the quick manual for the H700 which said that turning it on was accomplished by swinging the microphone boom out all the way. I did and no lights of any color showed. What might be going on with this headset. I am guessing that my wife maybe bought this headset last July.
