I've noticed following issue with my new iPhone 6 silver 128 GB - when I touch/push the screen - on right side near SIM card, in the middle of the right side I can see that screen is not mounted properly. It's moving up and down for about 0,5mm. Additionally you can hear not so nice sound like "click". Is it known issue with iPhone6?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a 32 GB Sandisk micro SD card to replace the 8 GB one that came with my phone. I used my laptop to transfer all the info from the 8 GB card to the 32 GB card with no issues at all and then installed it in the phone. The phone recognized it and all seemed ok, until I tried to access the new SD card (opening an audio file, taking a new picture, etc). Every time I do that, I get a popup message saying that my SD card has just come unmounted and I need to remount it.
I play around with this for several hours, including reformatting the new card, etc, always getting the same results...even if I put the new card in the phone completely blank and try to take a pic, I get the same "unmounting" error. I've formatted both cards several times to start anew and the formatting is the same as the 8 GB card which works just fine.So, thinking I have a defective SD card, I return it and buy another brand new Sandisk SD card. Repeat all of the above procedures with the same result: "your SD card had unexpectedly come unmounted. Remount and try again".I know the 32 GB cards aren't bad...my laptop will read and write to them just fine.I called the tech support for my cell phone company, and they said that despite what's published (everywhere), my phone will only support a 16 GB SD card. On that note, EVERYTHING I've seen (including the literature with the phone and all the specs online say that it will support a 32 GB SD card.Software wise, I'm running 2.2, which is the most current software version that my carrier (Cellular South) has released.
As of Friday (yesterday), my external SD card (32Gb) is being mounted READ ONLY by the system. I cannot use any app on the XOOM to write files, or move files, on that card. I have tried andSMB, andFTP, Astro file manager, andExplorer, File Manager HD. I have taken the card out of the system and reformatted it using the SD formatting utility from the SD association on a PC. I have tried another (2Gb) card and the same problem exists. Both cards work flawlessly using a card reader on a PC.
I can write to it only via an MTP connection to a PC. Today, the card is labelled "SD Card" under MTP. Before yesterday, it was "External Storage". Before yesterday, I had no problem using either andSMB or andFTP to download files to the SD card. I am assuming there was something in a recent update that has removed this feature from my device. When I got the device, it was at 3.2. Now it is at 4.1.1.
How do I get this card to mount R/W so I can actually use it on my device as WRITABLE STORAGE, like I was allowed to do just a week ago? How do I get this device to stop magically updating itself, so I can prevent you (Motorola, Google, whatever) from removing functions that I have already used, need, and expect to continue working? I actually don't care if an update is what broke this or something else, I do not want automatic updates enabled, and I can see no means of preventing them, other than giving up WiFi capabilities permanently. This is a XOOM Wi-Fi.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got my Xoom WiFi back from Motorola repair - it somehow had a latin american ROM on it and wasn't receiving the ICS upgrade. Well now it has ICS and, for the most part, everything is fine. I am having problems with the SD card though. This is an SD card I used when I had Honeycomb on the unit. I was able to write to it just fine back then.
I took it out before sending the unit in for repair, and I put if back after receiving the unit back. After reinsertion, I can see/read all of the files that I had on there from before, but I cannot write/edit/delete anything on it, and when I look at it in a file manager, it shows up as read only. I removed the card, put in in my PC (with an adaptor) and reformatted it, still read-only.
While it was still in the Xoom, I connected to my PC and was able to access and even write to the card from my PC. But I still cannot do anything that attempts to write to the device from Android. I think the ability to write to the card from the PC indicates that there is not an issue with the card. I think the issue is how it's mounted. But I cannot find a way to mount it as writable unless I root my Xoom (which I'd rather not do).

My Nokia 700 was a bit over 1 month old when I discovered that the screen was not glued properly. The top left corner of the screen was moving up and down for about 1 mm or so. I could press it back in with my fingers, but after couple of seconds it just came up again. After some days the screen started to go black, such as I was needed to push it down to see what's on the screen.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy mom´s Blackberry Torch 9800 (Carrier is Claro Brasil and the OS is updated to 6.0 Bundle 2647) isn´t working properly. Sometimes the touch screen doesn´t work and sometimes is works but not in a perfect way. When I try to type some numbers to dial using the virtual keyboard some keys doesn´t work out like the back button. When I type the back button the number 3 appears in the screen. I tried to downgrade and then upgrade the software using the desktop manager but this didn´t fix the problem and even after pulling the battery several times the problem remains.

This makes it a rail pain to write a message on the keyboard. For example I try to hit one letter and 2 or 3 will activate at the same time.

An other example would be in the Facebook app it's almost impossible to hit a like button.
I have recently got a symbol in the top left hand side of my screen. Since i got it i have lost the ability to text using the touch screen , also i have lost the smiley face applicaion.
The main screen sometimes flickers too. The symbol is like a wedge with a rectangle shape sat on top with a red circle beside it.
Two weeks ago my phone screen began randomly freezing, and a small section at the bottom would become digital noise/pixels. To fix this I simply locked my phone with the power button, waited a few minutes and my phone would be back to normal. I can't remember if this started happening before or after I updated my phone to the latest software.

For the last week when I unlock my phone, every now and again the screen won't turn on.
Sometimes when I plugged it in to charge, the charging screen would display and I could turn it on that way. When the screen was blank, sometimes I could press the power button repetitively (locking & unlocking my phone) and the screen would eventually turn on.
I then figured out I could do a 'hard reset' by holding down the power and volume up buttons, and my phone would work again.
I just got my Lumia 950 Dual Sim (2 days back) and so far I loved the features and appearance. However, I am getting frustrated with the continuous reboots and on-screen keyboard issues.
When I am trying to type in whats app or Skype (I havent tested other apps yet), the keyboard hangs and then it goes down. I have to keep clicking on the message space and then after a while either it comes up works for sometime and goes down again (unresponsive) or the phone gets restarted. I need to say that I am a bit frustrated with this as this is happening with a frequency of less than 2 minutes. I tried the basic troubleshooting steps of soft reset (volume down + power), but still same.
Got the Edge yesterday, loving it except, the screen won't rotate.
Open camera app, the screen is always oriented downwards. It will not take portrait pictures at all - it simply doesn't rotate to portrait orientation.
Open any games, they will only be oriented downwards also.
The accelerometer is functional - tested with a game "extreme car driving" that lets you control steering by phone tilt - worked fine.
However, even that game automatically instantly re-orients itself upside down when you open it.
Screen rotation is toggled on. I have tried with it off, no difference.
Have rebooted several times. Have turned phone off and left it off for an hour, turned back on. Have not tried a factory reset yet... not particularly keen on doing it but I guess that is my next step. Did a factory reset. Didn't work.

Since the Lolliopop update, change the orientation from horizontal to vertical (or vice versa) often results in the no screen rotation i find I have rotate the device at least 180 degrees before it detects anything

Sometimes the track pad works but not when it is pressed, and when the back botton works it puts me into sreach mode and looks for the letter "H" only. The touch screen is fine. This was before upgrading to OS7.1. I have done multiple hard resets and it does nothing at all. This has been going on for three days now. It hasn't be dropped or anything.
Last night I upgraded to OS 7.1 now my back ground does not rotate properly with how the phone is being held it does rotate, When you hold it upright it thinks its on it's side and vise versa.
I have got problem with touch screen, I just reload, re-installed the software, one day without accu, still the touch screen doesn't work properly.

When i swipe (ex. for scrolling on the app list) then the phone some times detects the swipe as a tap, and then might open an app og an URL, or what ever is under my finger when it happens. This behavier is very random, and usually happens at the start of swiping (eg. detects me putting my finger on the screen and not lifting it again, but swiping, as a tap).
just picked up the Motoactv, and I've noticed the backlight does not turn on when I use the device? The screen still displays properly but without backlight.

View 8 Replies View RelatedIt keeps telling me that the c: memory is full and that i should delete some items, however when i try to, there is hardly anything on the c:. Also the phone only works sporadically for about five minutes after switching on and after that the menu button and the touch screen do not work properly and i am unable to make any calls or texts, but can still recieve calls.
Also it is telling me that the sim memory is full and remains full despite deleting text messages. Has anyone else experienced such problems or know how i can fix these problems?

When I try to unlock it, it will immediatly lock back up on its own and I have to unlock it 2-3 times before it will stay unlocked. I also have the same problem when trying to lock the screen, it unlocks itself 2-3 times before it will stay locked. Has anyone else had this problem?
