My Nokia 700 was a bit over 1 month old when I discovered that the screen was not glued properly. The top left corner of the screen was moving up and down for about 1 mm or so. I could press it back in with my fingers, but after couple of seconds it just came up again. After some days the screen started to go black, such as I was needed to push it down to see what's on the screen.
View 2 RepliesAfter recent upgrade to v 60.0.003, my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic does not seem to be working properly with my car bluetooth kit. It connects to the car kit alright, and the incoming call's ringtone is heard on the car kit and the call can also be accepted by pressing the green button on the car kit but the call voice (both mike and speaker) remains with the phone and does not come over the car stereo. If I look at the phone screen during the call, there is an option to activate the speaker but none to transfer the call to bluetooth device. I have tried fiddling with options in Accessories - > Car kit, as well as the bluetooth options, to no avail. Tried re-pairing but that didn;t help either.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI made Qt application which collects data from sensors (accelerometer, magnetometer, proximity, compass, GPS...). I have used application on N8 and it works perfecly on Anna devices. However, there seems to be problem with Belle. It works fine at start (from 5 to 60 minutes) but in some point magnetometers and compass seem to freeze, and I do not get updates their values. This problem seems to be related with Belle because it works fine on Anna and I've tested the application with two different N8 phones running Belle.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy N82 while taking pictures focuses properly in macro mode. (Green rectangular box). Other than macro mode I can see only red rectangular box (indicating improper focus?) and the photo seems to be blurred. Macro mode photos seems to be good. Even if I put camera settings to 'Auto' I am getting red rectangular box most of the times instead of green. Software or hardware fault?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just purchased a nokia lumia 800. But i have noticed a problem with the touch detection on the screen.
When i swipe (ex. for scrolling on the app list) then the phone some times detects the swipe as a tap, and then might open an app og an URL, or what ever is under my finger when it happens. This behavier is very random, and usually happens at the start of swiping (eg. detects me putting my finger on the screen and not lifting it again, but swiping, as a tap).
It keeps telling me that the c: memory is full and that i should delete some items, however when i try to, there is hardly anything on the c:. Also the phone only works sporadically for about five minutes after switching on and after that the menu button and the touch screen do not work properly and i am unable to make any calls or texts, but can still recieve calls.
Also it is telling me that the sim memory is full and remains full despite deleting text messages. Has anyone else experienced such problems or know how i can fix these problems?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a 16GB Nokia n96, and it was working completely fine till a couple weeks back the screen went blank, so i assumed it had switched itself off. I took the battery out and tried switching it back on, but the screen didn't come on. The phone vibrated once like normal on start-up, then the keypad lit up and the buttons on the slide-up bit, but nothing can be seen on the screen. I can also hear the beeps when i press different buttons, and also I could remember off by heart where my music player was on it, so i pressed the right buttons and my music actually started playing!

When I turn the phone on, the screen is multiple coloured vertical lines across it, and can't see the software number pad to unlock the phone. I have done a soft-reset of the device by holding the power button down for 5-8 seconds (or however long it is), but didn't make a difference.

I clicked OK to move to the memory to delete, but unable to move from the blank space.
After taking a photo my N8 screen has simply frozen. Nothing when I touch the screen, I cant even reboot it.

I have bought it and hard reset it yesterday with button combination and also with factory settings option.Now, the problem is that when i start any installation, it asks to install it. When i press ok it proceeds to neXt dialogue, either asking for permissions or asking to close an app, depending o the sis file.NOW, a moment before this dialogue, i get totally black screen for milliseconds. And then i cannot touch any button when the prompt appears. I can switch to menu and hs using hardware keys but cannot touch anything on screen. Long pressing menu key allows me to touch the screen and close apps but i can't touch anything else. I can also use power key menu to shut down mobile.Everything else is normal otherwise, i even installed many apps today successfully but now this problem occurs.

I'm having troubles with the calendar application on my N97. When I try to run it, the screen just refreshes and that's it, the app doesn't run at all. This is the case with both homescreen shortcut and actual calendar icon in the menu. I've restarted the phone a couple of times and it didn't work.

And yes after the initial install I installed the 4 other packages (Nokia Anna 1/2, 2/2, Ovi Store & Social). found that I didnt get a split screen anywhere. On Googling I found that split screen only works with Swype disabled. So I uninstalled SwypeNow I'm getting split screen in the search widget, browser, phonebook etc... but not in CONVERSATIONS (messaging app)
