So I recently got my replacement device, and I downloaded candy crush and It has me on level 1 , I used to be on like 200. Its been two months since I had my last phone & I went on game center It didnt show. Plus my old phone files got backed up onto my old laptop which I threw away, I now have a new mac. My daughter has bought today a new Torch 9810. She has entered a new device password. After a few hours she tried to enter her password, but she forgot her password.
After a read of some internet groups, the solution is simple, just type 10 times your password and the BB will restart. I know that all data will be removed, but that is no issue.
Unfortunately the BB will not restart after I retype for then times the wrong password After the reset it starting with a White screen, with a sort of document icon. Within this document icon, appear a lock and cross sign, beneath this icon there is a counter with is repeatedly showing from 0 till 100% and then start over again.
I've tried to disconnect the battery for at least 1 minute, Put in a different sim card, let it run for almost one hour, but nothing seems to work.

I tried lot's of models but none of them let me control volume levels. Since the xperia z 3 is a big phone and I carry it in my pocket all the time, sometimes it's really hard to reach the phone to lover or increase the music level. It's a big shame that sony doesn't think of it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAny way to make sure all notifications stay in sync sound and vibrate wise? I have always just used the volume keys but with the settings icon allowing you to change different volumes for different notifications it is causing problems.
I think the ability to change individual notifications is a solid option, I would also like a way to change them in sync. There are time where I think I have silenced the phone and a certain notification still has sound. I guess a widget could work but I usually like to only use the keys.
It would be good to have more than 10 volume levels (20 for example is good) when pressing + or - buttons on the side for changing volume. Many times I need volume level between those avaliable ones when listening music. Looking forward to see this on new software update.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just purchased the Bionic and am upset that the volume levels are so low compared to other Motorola phones I have had in the past (i.e. W755, K1M, RAZR, etc.). in noisy situations both the earpiece and ringer volume levels are too low to overcome the background noises even when set on the highest settings. Has this issue been sent to the development team for resolution? I would hope that the speaker devices audio driver components are capable of supporting higher dB outputs and that the problem can be resolved with a software refresh. This is my first smartphone; so I have a lot to learn.

The battery meter on my Curve 9300 shows the incorrect levels, it could be showing that the battery is half full then the handheld will just shut off, I pull out the battery plug it back in then when it reboots it'll show that it only has 1/2 a bar left then die. I have nothing but Messages, Home and Phone running in the background.

If I have my headphones plugged directly into the dock itself the volume is considerably lower and have to have the media volume all the way up. When I have the headphones plugged directly into the phone the sound levels are normal. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Curve 8530 (Verizon Wireless). On March 22nd a device software upgrade was applied 5.0.0.508. That upgrade caused some of my 3rd party apps to have issues with some functionality in particular anything to do with "virtual serial ports". A prime example is the IntelliGolf app that had been working on perfectly prior to the upgrade. Once the upgrade was applied the application on the device was no longer able to sync any information with their Desktop application as it does not recognize that there is a USB connection. I raised the issue with the other software vendor and was told that there would need to be a RIM patch to address the backward compatibility issue. The other option would be for me to revert to a previous RIM device software version. I don't know where to find an acceptable "previous version" nor do I think it's advisable for me to address this issue without direction from RIM My question is this, will there be a patch to address this issue? If so, when? If not, what should I do get my applications working again?

As soon as I got home, I did the device switch operation with my BB desktop software without any problems too, but today I noticed something was diferent, I don't have or find anywhere in my phone the OS 7 digital compass. I know it's no big deal, but it was a nice app and would really like to install it on my new BB. I have surfed among the web and apps world and all I find are compasses for purchase, and it came free in this BB device.

Phone worked great for a week, then I installed the BBDM software and attempted to install a new app and It starts the process but at the end says it cannot connect to the device. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 8520, firstly. I simply wanted to transfer some pictures to my laptop, and then I see something about an update for the Desktop Manager. There also happened to be the update to version 5. ow silly me, I didn't make a back-up as I didn't know that this update would remove all my info. I assumed it was just the applications (which I can install again) but I realized I've lost all my BB contacts. (Of course I didn't back up that info either.What I want to know is because I've registered before, shouldn't my info still show up in my contacts' lists? Isn't there a way for me to restore my contacts without adding them all over again? And can't they still msg me?
