I have ringer volume on 25. I work on AC's so it can be a little loud.Prob is that when I open up the phone function and start dialing a number, the keypad volume is at, like, the speakerphone volumeAnd ridiculously loud. Is this a glitch or normal? My keyboard button tap sounds are fine as far as volume, but the phone number key tone is just obnoxiously loud.

My earpeice volume has gone very quiet even though the sound level is up on high. Is this something i can fix or is this a warranty issue.

My phone's volume isn't working. I press the volume buttons but the screen only says "ringer" and doesn't show me the level. When I go into the volume settings I turn it all the way up and I still don't hear anything except the ringtones. Only ringtones. I can't play my games or watch videos like this. What's wrong with my phone?!

View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I do on my newly purchased Samsung Galaxy S6, the volume is way too low to be able to understand anything. If I don't have any noise around me, it's fine, otherwise not. I have the volume all up. I tried this Volume+ app here: [URL] .... but it wouldn't change anything in the volume level.

View 6 Replies View RelatedExperiencing static or hissing sound over speakerphone and headphones? This is improved by turning Audio Effects OFF, but not eliminated. I also went to the Verizon store and tried out a display Razr M and it had the same problem. This is very noticeable over headphones when listening in a quiet room. The behavior is independent of audio source, headphone type and speaker vs. headphone jack.
View 15 Replies View RelatedA new issue with the 3.2 update. I set the speaker volume to zero and pressed OK. Later I attempted to reset the volume to full on. Next I initiated an MP4 movie (using the latest Quicktime); the movie plays fine but with no sound. I stop the movie go back to the sound setting and it has reset itself to zero. The same result with an MP3 music file. Is this a software compatibility issue?

My 3GS had miserable speakerphone performance. I have to participate in a lot of conference calls for business, and the speakerphone was embarrassing; in a group setting, we always had to use someone else's phone.Had a call yesterday, however, and was blown away by the new iPhone 4 speaker performance.

Anyone else seeing this issue? The Mic works in speakerphone mode. All kinds of resets don't help. Got burned by Palo Alto Apple store manager

My iPhone 4S works perfectly except for this issue, which oddly started out of the blue yesterday: During calls, when I am using speakerphone feature, I can hear the other caller fine, but they can barely hear me. They say I sound muffled and crackly. This happens both when receiving and making calls. I am not using any kind of headphone system (bluetooth or wired).

I have an iPhone 4S. I can no longer hear songs from iTunes or videos when I play them on the phone except through my headphones. Other speakerphone functionality (voice memos, speakerphone) works though.

Is it all possible to make a speakerphone call whilst using Siri, it seems a bit redundant to use Siri make the call, then to have to pree the Spekaerphone icon.

I have just recently noticed that my speakerphone stopped functioning during a call. I can hear, but when speakerphone is pushed, the other party doesn't hear me. My mic works fine so that's not it.

Everything functions fine on my iPhone 4 except the native phone app. I can dial out and answer calls. However, I cannot hear any sound coming out of the earpiece or speakerphone and the person on the other end of the line cannot hear me and the iPhone shows that we are connected. I use apps like Skype and Viber and I am able to make and receive phone calls fine. I can hear the caller and they can hear me. I restarted my iphone, I did a hard reset. I even backed up my iphone and restored it to default settings and the problem still persists.
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust got new iPhones a couple of months ago. Up until now everything was great. Now when I put a call on speakerphone, the other party can't hear me at all. If I blow into the mic, they can hear that, but they can't hear me talk. I've cleaned the mesh with a soft, dry toothbrush as suggested, made sure that the volume didn't read "headset", turned the volume up, turned the phone off-on, made sure nothing else was blocking the mesh over the mic, etc.
The really weird thing is that I was able to record a "Voice Memo" which uses the same mic and the recording sounded just fine.
So, is it hardware or is it software? Doesn't seem to be hardware since I can record a "Voice Memo" with no problem and I can also communicate with Siri just fine. It seems that the problem only happens when using the phone speakerphone feature.

So, I opted to do a restore on the new iPhone 4 from a 3G running iOS4 image. Everything seems to have restored just fine but I've noticed that the battery level percentage isn't being reported on the top of the screen. I've crawled through the settings and can't find anything on changing this. Was wondering if anyone else had run into this or if I'm going to need to bite the bullet and build the phone up from scratch. To be honest this shouldn't be necessary, but could be my only option.
BTW, my reason for doing the restore is simply a matter of data. I have several apps that contain 2 or more years of information. Most have a "save/restore" feature but several don't. Even those that do have their own unique way of saving which will add time to building the new phone.
The flash LED is on dimly at low level all the time; and it flickers as well.
