I have an iPhone 4S. I can no longer hear songs from iTunes or videos when I play them on the phone except through my headphones. Other speakerphone functionality (voice memos, speakerphone) works though.

I can receive incoming calls and the person on the other end can hear me but i can't hear them unless i have them on speakerphone or have the headphones plugged in. it was working fine earlier but has stopped.

I forget what happens when we update to new firmware on an existing phone: Does it delete the music/video content from the iPhone? I have an iPhone 4 and over the last few days I can't hear anyone when they call me or when I call them, however they can hear me. I have been using skype to call people on the phone via 3g and that works fine. It started as crackling and static on the line initally but now there is no sound at all.
