It will work for any music played but it does not make a peep when I try to turn on the speakerphone function while in a call
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've read several tips from others about this problem (cleaning the headset jack, switching back and forth between speakerphone and regular, etc.). None of them have worked...

Everything functions fine on my iPhone 4 except the native phone app. I can dial out and answer calls. However, I cannot hear any sound coming out of the earpiece or speakerphone and the person on the other end of the line cannot hear me and the iPhone shows that we are connected. I use apps like Skype and Viber and I am able to make and receive phone calls fine. I can hear the caller and they can hear me. I restarted my iphone, I did a hard reset. I even backed up my iphone and restored it to default settings and the problem still persists.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince yesterday I can only use my X8 by speakerphone or bluetooth device. Through a normal phone call, people can hear me, but I'm not able to hear them. I already repaired the phone using PC Companion, but no help.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAll of a sudden, in the middle of a call, the other person could not hear me. It was not accidentally switched to speaker (I checked). After trying to call back a few times, I figured out it would work on speaker. I found a thread where someone said they took a pin and cleaned out the small mic, and that worked for them. Having no pin, I tried a paperclip ... and it seemed to work ... for a couple minutes. Now its back to speaker only! Also ... I now notice that when I try and use voice Google ... The phone does not hear my voice. This phone is only about 6 or 7 weeks old.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy mic does not work in speakerphone mode. I does however work in normal phone mode, and at the same distances that it does not work in speaker mode. Google voice search works just fine. I'm certain that the mic is not the problem. A factory reset did not solve the issue.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I connected my Bell Vibrant to my Win7 X64 PC via Bluetooth, and all sorts of funny issues happen when attempting to control dialing from my PC, and use my computer as a speakerphone. To begin with, the "Hangup" button doesn't work, plus whenever I press the "Connect" button to "Use this computer as a headset or speakerphone for calls on your phone (Galaxy S)," the phone starts dialing the number written in the "Make a call to this number:" field (when there's a number written there--otherwise it would start dialing the latest dialed number) without my having to press the "Connect" button. Ain't that funny? Anyone else going through this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy 3GS had miserable speakerphone performance. I have to participate in a lot of conference calls for business, and the speakerphone was embarrassing; in a group setting, we always had to use someone else's phone.Had a call yesterday, however, and was blown away by the new iPhone 4 speaker performance.

My iPhone 4S works perfectly except for this issue, which oddly started out of the blue yesterday: During calls, when I am using speakerphone feature, I can hear the other caller fine, but they can barely hear me. They say I sound muffled and crackly. This happens both when receiving and making calls. I am not using any kind of headphone system (bluetooth or wired).

Is it all possible to make a speakerphone call whilst using Siri, it seems a bit redundant to use Siri make the call, then to have to pree the Spekaerphone icon.

I have just recently noticed that my speakerphone stopped functioning during a call. I can hear, but when speakerphone is pushed, the other party doesn't hear me. My mic works fine so that's not it.

Just got new iPhones a couple of months ago. Up until now everything was great. Now when I put a call on speakerphone, the other party can't hear me at all. If I blow into the mic, they can hear that, but they can't hear me talk. I've cleaned the mesh with a soft, dry toothbrush as suggested, made sure that the volume didn't read "headset", turned the volume up, turned the phone off-on, made sure nothing else was blocking the mesh over the mic, etc.
The really weird thing is that I was able to record a "Voice Memo" which uses the same mic and the recording sounded just fine.
So, is it hardware or is it software? Doesn't seem to be hardware since I can record a "Voice Memo" with no problem and I can also communicate with Siri just fine. It seems that the problem only happens when using the phone speakerphone feature.

I see that it's possible to use one's pc as a speakerphone through bluetooth. I'm not using the desktop software but the inherit software on the unit. I can type a number and phone from the pc but the pc speaker phone doesn't work??
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhile I'm on a call on speakerphone, the phone will go to sleep. The problem is that when I am finished with the call, I cannot end the call until after I wake up the phone. I would rather the phone stay awake during the call so I can end it right away. I have tried some apps that are supposed to keep apps awake such as Wakey without success.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI got attached to only one thing during my time on Windows Phone. I used to be able to have Cortona "Call X on Speakerphone" and it would automatically dial and turn on the speakerphone. Only thing I loved about that os.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to talk on speakerphone, people tell me they can barely hear me. Sometimes my voice is clear, other times it sounds like I am muffled or far away. A phone case is not in the way, nor is the microphone clogged. The phone has done this since I bought it 5 months ago.
I am able to use the voice recorder and can be heard fine.Samsung told me to do a complete reinstall of the phone. I do not want to back everything up and risk losing data as I have syncing issues with my mac.
When using speakerphone on E52 sound volume is too low. Even if I keep it on max,it's still too low.Considering that ringtones can be played with a lot stronger volume using the same speaker (as speakerphone does) - I assume there must be a "trick" to pump up the volume of speakerphone, right ?Any code or workaround ??? This is somewhat silly situation, ringtones quite loud, speakerphone too low
