I have an old "Think Outside" keyboard that worked perfect with my iPhone 4S (for years). When I switched to iPhone 5, it keeps dropping the keyboard. When I turn the bluetooth off and back on, the keyboard comes right back, but I never had to do that on the iPhone 4.Â
Is this a new security feature to keep people from hacking the bluetooth? Can this feature can be turned off?
I have myiphone 6 withios 8.1.1 connected to my 2013 Honda Pilot with Bluetooth. Everything works fine when I am listening to music with the native music app. However, when I make or receive a phone call thebluetooth drops in and out every couple of minutes. How do I stop it from dropping out? It makes usingbluetooth for a phone call useless. And why would it work for hours on end if it is only playing music but won't work for more than a minute on a phone call?
iPhone5 drops audio (music) playback to the handsfree built into my car. This happens about 40% of the time and after a few seconds. I have to disable bluetooth, wait and reenable. I've seen it drop after longer, but typically it's seconds into connecting and starting playback. Before upgrading to iOS 7.1.1 this never happened. Phone is placed in cup holder in center console so signal strength should not be an issue.Â
Not sure if the phone's handfree part would still work. I am suspecting that it does not.Â
just wondered if its possible to connect BOTH bluetooth keyboard and a bluetooth headset at the same time in iPhone 4 OS? or is it as its now and can only support one connection at time?
I recently purchased a new M8 and a few days ago the Bluetooth started dropping off. I would momentarily loose connection to my Pebble, a headset when using it or connection to my truck. At times I'm connected to my Pebble and truck at the same time and at other times I'm just connected to one device. I've done hard resets, re-paired my Bluetooth devices and still getting dropped connections. All my devices have the latest firmware.
I just got my G4 and I'm having trouble with the Bluetooth pairing. I have a 2011 sonata and I can pair it fine but my it won't download my phone book, also when I have it dial a number it drops people. I got a Bluetooth stereo that won't pair with it keep getting a bad passkey or id number. These all worked fine with my G3 and had no trouble.
I am having a strange issue when using both Bluetooth and Wifi simultaneously.
This happens pretty regularly when using the Spotify app whilst having the phone audio connected to a Bluetooth speaker. The pairing process works without issue. However, as soon as I begin searching the app for music, and select a track for playing, the WiFi connection drops. Sometimes It eventually reconnects, other times I have to go back to settings and manually select the network once again.
During the connection drop, I can still see the Wifi network and all my other devices still remain connected. Rebooting the doesnt fix it, nor does disabling/enabling the wifi. Its rendering the phone useless for music streaming!
Having issues with bluetooth dropping and reconnecting? I have a plantronics voyager headset and it keeps dropping and reconnecting the the 950. I thought I had outdated firmware on the voyager, so I updated the firmware and it has made it worse.
I have an annoying issue that has been ongoing for about 2 months now and I have been searching high and low for the answer to no avail.Equipment:Blackberry Torch9850Verizon Wireless71. Bundle 1737I have to repair my phone every time I shut off the car. I have the car checked out,no issues and have checked the phone on other verhicles, same issue. The phone pairs fine when I go throught the entire re-pairing process, but once the vehicle is shutoff the and restart the pairing fails. Sometime if I get lucky it stays paired for one or two shutdown of the vehicle and then it fails again. have tried turning the cars radio off before shutting of the car, recommended somewhere else, no luck.In talking with Verizon it appears as the Torch is not retaining the bluetooth password and they were at a loss to figure out how to fix it.
Whenever my Atrix is in the car dock when I'm on a phone call, the bluetooth will disconnect and the phone speaker comes on. It intermittently will reconnect/disconnect bouncing between the car speakers and the phone speaker. I've tried using another car dock, another USB cable and 3 different USB car chargers.
Music works fine on the bluetooth but once I take a phone call is when all the troubles start.
Since receiving 8.1 update,Two issues have appeared on my 1320,Bluetooth keeps dropping out when using it in my car for telephone calls, was perfect prior to this. Also when web browsing keeps taking to last main of a site I visited previously,I have to keep refreshing page or delete history.
I "think" this is the trigger. When I'm on a call my phone will drop the connection to the car handsfree link and revert to the phone (you can still see the bluetooth icon lit) whenever I receive a notification for anything. If it's a text, email, or whatever the call will suddenly cut out go to the phone and then 10 seconds later or so reconnect to the car stereo.
Anyone having problems with bluetooth headsets dropping connections? I have a Motorola H17txt and Bose Series II, both will start cutting in and out, then completely drop the connection after about five minutes.
I have an iPhone 4, running iOS 4.0.1 and sometimes I will link up my Apple Bluetooth keyboard to it when texting. Its great! However, I can't seem to find a "send" button? Like if I was chatting in iChat I would just push enter but in SMS's an enter just takes you down a line...so is there some kind of secret shortcut for the end button rather going back and forth between the keyboard and tapping the screen?
I've experimented with the Apple bluetooth keyboard that came out with the iPads and it seems to work well with limitations on certain keys (ie. some keys like the volume and function keys just don't work). I'm still deciding whether it is really worth the investment...the keyboard is almost full size and is easy to type quickly on.
I usually use bluetooth on my Nokia E71 without any problem. I can stream audio from the Nokia to my Parrot Party speakers, be hands free in my car bluetooth system, can transfer files between my PC and the Nokia. However, for some odd reason, the Nokia does not detect my Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000. My laptop connects without a problem to this keyboard, but the Nokia won't.
Is it possible to install my bluetooth keyboard (sis file installation) onto my N8. Everytime I try I get a message saying my device doesn't support sis files
One of the most desired features of this N8 phone for me was the ability to use bt keyboard and mouse. Now I bought the keyboard and mouse and what happened, nothing. Both devices are found when searching bt -devices. Keyboard doesn't even go to the pairing, it halts to password questions (where I type 0000). Then message:" Keyboard cannot be connected). With mouse, I can get one step further. When prompting password, I type 0000, the mouse gets paired, but when I try to connect, message comes:" Bluetooth connection cannot be created". Or similar cause the message is in finnish language. But I think you got the point. Items I have purchased are:
- Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 - Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000
My blackberry bold keyboard is locked and it will not let me type my password? There is a blue light in the upper right corner of the phone indicating it's in blue tooth mode. Any way to help unlock keyboard to change settings?
I've successfully paired an Apple Bluetooth keyboard with a Blackberry 8520, but cannot use it for input. How can I get it to work or am I wasting my time trying?
My equipment is lumia icon, after pairing the bluetooth keyboard(apple bluetooth keyboard and it works well with other equipments) with my icon, I noticed that the connecting light of keyboard was flashing and I can't type letter through the keyboard.
I would really love to use the 1520 as a work/personal note-taking device. I already use OneNote extensively. I saw the 1520 at the AT&T store today and fell in love, but the final thing for me to justify a 6" monster would be the keyboard issue.
I have the Motorola Bluetooth keyboard and there seen to be a delay in the typing showing on the screen. mainly while in the browser. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a simple fix? Am I missing something? I do not remember this with 3.0.1 but I am not sure.
Does anyone know how to setup the N900 so it sees a stowaway bluetooth keyboard? I'm not knowledgable with Linux code so you would have to provide all detail if I had to make script adjustments. I'm sure this has been done but maemo.org usually talks at programmers level on tasks such as this one.
I have the Motorola keyboard and MS 5000 BT mouse. They each work well individually, however when used together, the keyboard frequently disconnects. When I go to a text field, the software/screen keyboard comes up instead of using the hardware keyboard. If hit a few keys on the hardware keyboard, then it seems to reconnect and I can continue using it. It disconnects again once I leave a text field. I'm using a 3G version of the Xoom, but without 3G activated, so just using WiFi.
I purchased the Motorola Full Size Wireless Keyboard (model:89451N) to use with my Droid Razr Maxx Hd to make texting and sending emails easier. The problem is that when conneting keyboard to phone the phone will restart 4 out of 5 times. Once the phone has rebooted it is connected but this is becoming very frustrating. This is the only wireless keyboard that I've tried but I hoped to have little compatability issues being that both handset and keyboard are made by Motorola.
