Lumia 1320 :: Bluetooth Keeps Dropping Out When Using It In Car For Telephone Calls
Sep 30, 2014
Since receiving 8.1 update,Two issues have appeared on my 1320,Bluetooth keeps dropping out when using it in my car for telephone calls, was perfect prior to this. Also when web browsing keeps taking to last main of a site I visited previously,I have to keep refreshing page or delete history.
I just got my G4 and I'm having trouble with the Bluetooth pairing. I have a 2011 sonata and I can pair it fine but my it won't download my phone book, also when I have it dial a number it drops people. I got a Bluetooth stereo that won't pair with it keep getting a bad passkey or id number. These all worked fine with my G3 and had no trouble.
Whenever my Atrix is in the car dock when I'm on a phone call, the bluetooth will disconnect and the phone speaker comes on. It intermittently will reconnect/disconnect bouncing between the car speakers and the phone speaker. I've tried using another car dock, another USB cable and 3 different USB car chargers.
Music works fine on the bluetooth but once I take a phone call is when all the troubles start.
My lumia 710 seems to randomly drop calls for no particular reason, even when I have full bars on my signal, I did read someware on the Internet that its happened to others with the Lumia 710
I was always very positive about the 1320, but now, after 2 months, the faults are starting to annoy me. This is the biggest problem: I can't play music through bluetooth. It always stutters and skips. Even if I put the phone next to the device. Even on other devices.
Having issues with bluetooth dropping and reconnecting? I have a plantronics voyager headset and it keeps dropping and reconnecting the the 950. I thought I had outdated firmware on the voyager, so I updated the firmware and it has made it worse.
My sound keep cutting out while I am in call :( The sound works great on speakerphone but as soon as I switch back to the normal earpiece it cuts out intermittently.
Music works great and earphones work fine too, It only drops sound when I make/and receive calls. It's a real pain to have a conversation when you can't hear the other person 50% of the time.
I recently had a new battery and another internal battery/charging related component changed because the battery wouldn't hold a charge or charge at all for that matter. They also changed the screen and rear case which was nice :D But the sound fault was not there before I sent my phone off for repair so it could be the new audio jack on the rear case that is faulty ...
I have a 1320 that I got brand new back on Black Friday from Cricket. The problem is after it has been on for a while, the wireless and/or bluetooth or both shutoff. When I bring the status bar down, the wireless icon and/or the bluetooth icon will be cleared out and not active. If I try to turn it back on, nothing happens, the icons stay black. I reboot and usually that fixes it but not always. Sometimes I have to reboot it a couple of times.
Also my phone sometimes reboots when I'm using the GPS to track my bike rides when the phone is in my bag. I know that because when I get to the end of my ride and check the app, Cyclometer, it stays "it has been shut off, do you want to resume" or something to that effect and then I resume it and a portion of my ride is missing from when it apparently has rebooted. I also have had it reboot on me in the middle of something that doesn't happen often.
My phone is on 8.1 and has no more pending updates. this is eating up my data plan because I normally use wireless at home. I also can't use my bluetooth speaker while riding because if I connect my bluetooth speaker to my phone, the bluetooth will shut off after about 15-25 minutes of use. It first starts to become somewhat intermittent for couple of minutes then bluetooth shuts off altogether.
I cannot hear telephone calls with MY nexus 6 loudspeaker, but I can hear with head set. It is only forma telephone calls, I perfectly hear forma example a video on YouTube with the device louddpeaker, bit noto telephone calls.
My iPhone will not make or receive telephone calls, though has good reception of network. This problem has just suddenly started and I have made no recent adjustments to my iPhone.
I have got problem starting today. I can not make telephone calls - I can not ring telephone numbers or receive other calls. All other things works ok - sms, web,... When I try it, telephone always switch off. I tried to install new software but it didn´t help. I also tried to use other sim card but the problem was the sam.
This started happening in the last couple of days. my phone makes calls one after the other. I have no idea what happened. My phone has always been flawless. It even makes calls while I am talking on the phone. I called Verizon and they have a reconditioned phone waiting at a local store. I hate to give up my phone for someone elses problem phone.
Having problems when i talk i the phone. After 3 to 15 minutes my phone locks itself and sets the reciving signal to zero. After 10 more seconds its wake to life and i can call again but it will disconnect again.
The blue tooth pairing on My Lumia 900 only works for either calls or music. Secondly only music on my phone streams on my cars blue tooth. Sound from videos in phone or live music from radio station apps does not.
If I write a text message on my Lumia 900 I don't have the option to chose to which number to send it if the person has more telephones numbers. I have contacts with 2 numbers stored, one from work and one personal... I can't send a SMS to the contact's work telephone.
I recently purchased a new M8 and a few days ago the Bluetooth started dropping off. I would momentarily loose connection to my Pebble, a headset when using it or connection to my truck. At times I'm connected to my Pebble and truck at the same time and at other times I'm just connected to one device. I've done hard resets, re-paired my Bluetooth devices and still getting dropped connections. All my devices have the latest firmware.
I have a torch 9810. A white unlocked . Recently my phone started dropping calls whenever i made a call or received a call. The service drops to SOS and the call is suddenly lost.
I had an iphone 4 until July 2013 when I cahnged it to an iphone 5. The biggest regret of my life. Ever since I keep missing out on work as the phone keeps dropping calls. I had the phone replaced twice but to no avail.
This phone is rather new, about a month old, and the past week or so it has been dropping calls like crazy. What I mean by that is that people are able to make calls to me, but i never hear any ringtone or anything (yes, my volume is up to the highest) and it registers as a missed call. I got a friend to try and call me while I was in the same room as her to figure out what was happening. She would call me, one ring on her end wouldn't even go by and the call would be dropped. On my end I never get any proper call, just a missed call. Â
I have an old "Think Outside" keyboard that worked perfect with my iPhone 4S (for years). When I switched to iPhone 5, it keeps dropping the keyboard. When I turn the bluetooth off and back on, the keyboard comes right back, but I never had to do that on the iPhone 4.Â
Is this a new security feature to keep people from hacking the bluetooth? Can this feature can be turned off?
I have myiphone 6 withios 8.1.1 connected to my 2013 Honda Pilot with Bluetooth. Everything works fine when I am listening to music with the native music app. However, when I make or receive a phone call thebluetooth drops in and out every couple of minutes. How do I stop it from dropping out? It makes usingbluetooth for a phone call useless. And why would it work for hours on end if it is only playing music but won't work for more than a minute on a phone call?
A while ago, i jailbroke iPhone 3G on 3.1.2 for the first few weeks it was working fine. Now it seems as my phone app is screwed up. I live in the country and my signal isn't the best. But it was never like this. This is what's happening -
-phone will drop all signal and drop the call when talking.
- i will call someone and it will sit forever and never ring for me, i call people and they can hear me for like 2 seconds then we cant hear each other.
- People sometimes can get threw to me when calling.
I've rebooted the phone, turned on/off 3G, and tryed the phone in diff. areas with no luck.I have these apps installed - Winterboard. Lockinfo. OpenSSH. Sbsettings. Categories. Cycorder. Five Icon dock. and a few others.
Is it me or is the iPhone always dropping the network! I am almost at my wits end with it loosing signal and not getting network? Really bad! When I put my sim in another orange phone then there is no bother? Calls never dropped other than known black spots, is there anything that I can do to sort this other than sell my phone ?
I have the iphone 4 now 6 months, really love the phone apart from the dropped calls. I have these every single call I make or receive. I am with Tesco mobile which uses the o2 network, so reception is fantastic. I have done all the usual stuff like place a bumper around phone but made no difference. What I have noticed is the dropped calls seem to happen when the phone goes from 3g to 2g does anyone else have this problem?I am getting to the stage of changing to a different phone.
For the past couple weeks, my Iphone 4 (AT&T) cannot hold a call for more than a couple minutes, even if there is signal when I am having a phone call. I do believe it started after the latest update for the phone. Is anyone else running into the same problem?
