Lumia 950 :: Bluetooth Keeps Dropping With Plantronics Voyager
Dec 2, 2015
Having issues with bluetooth dropping and reconnecting? I have a plantronics voyager headset and it keeps dropping and reconnecting the the 950. I thought I had outdated firmware on the voyager, so I updated the firmware and it has made it worse.
I have a Samsung Caliber and purchased a Brand New in the box Plantronics Voyager Pro headset from ebay seller named rtarafa and I have had a horrible time with it.It frequently drops calls, refuses to activate the voice call feature and causes the phone to get stuck. Not sure if this seller is selling bad units or if it's just not compatible but consider yourself on notice.I find myself going back to my Motorola HS850 because it works perfectly with the Caliber.VERY disappointed as I thought this was going to be a terrific headset.
Since receiving 8.1 update,Two issues have appeared on my 1320,Bluetooth keeps dropping out when using it in my car for telephone calls, was perfect prior to this. Also when web browsing keeps taking to last main of a site I visited previously,I have to keep refreshing page or delete history.
I recently purchased a new M8 and a few days ago the Bluetooth started dropping off. I would momentarily loose connection to my Pebble, a headset when using it or connection to my truck. At times I'm connected to my Pebble and truck at the same time and at other times I'm just connected to one device. I've done hard resets, re-paired my Bluetooth devices and still getting dropped connections. All my devices have the latest firmware.
I just got my G4 and I'm having trouble with the Bluetooth pairing. I have a 2011 sonata and I can pair it fine but my it won't download my phone book, also when I have it dial a number it drops people. I got a Bluetooth stereo that won't pair with it keep getting a bad passkey or id number. These all worked fine with my G3 and had no trouble.
I have an old "Think Outside" keyboard that worked perfect with my iPhone 4S (for years).┬ When I switched to iPhone 5, it keeps dropping the keyboard.┬ When I turn the bluetooth off and back on, the keyboard comes right back, but I never had to do that on the iPhone 4.┬
Is this a new security feature to keep people from hacking the bluetooth?┬ Can this feature can be turned off?
I have myiphone 6 withios 8.1.1 connected to my 2013 Honda Pilot with Bluetooth.┬ Everything works fine when I am listening to music with the native music app.┬ However, when I make or receive a phone call thebluetooth drops in and out every couple of minutes.┬ How do I stop it from dropping out?┬ It makes usingbluetooth for a phone call useless.┬ And why would it work for hours on end if it is only playing music but won't work for more than a minute on a phone call?
I am having a strange issue when using both Bluetooth and Wifi simultaneously.
This happens pretty regularly when using the Spotify app whilst having the phone audio connected to a Bluetooth speaker. The pairing process works without issue. However, as soon as I begin searching the app for music, and select a track for playing, the WiFi connection drops. Sometimes It eventually reconnects, other times I have to go back to settings and manually select the network once again.
During the connection drop, I can still see the Wifi network and all my other devices still remain connected. Rebooting the doesnt fix it, nor does disabling/enabling the wifi. Its rendering the phone useless for music streaming!
I have an annoying issue that has been ongoing for about 2 months now and I have been searching high and low for the answer to no avail.Equipment:Blackberry Torch9850Verizon Wireless71. Bundle 1737I have to repair my phone every time I shut off the car. I have the car checked out,no issues and have checked the phone on other verhicles, same issue. The phone pairs fine when I go throught the entire re-pairing process, but once the vehicle is shutoff the and restart the pairing fails. Sometime if I get lucky it stays paired for one or two shutdown of the vehicle and then it fails again. have tried turning the cars radio off before shutting of the car, recommended somewhere else, no luck.In talking with Verizon it appears as the Torch is not retaining the bluetooth password and they were at a loss to figure out how to fix it.
iPhone5 drops audio (music) playback to the handsfree built into my car.┬ This happens about 40% of the time and after a few seconds.┬ I have to disable bluetooth, wait and reenable.┬ I've seen it drop after longer, but typically it's seconds into connecting and starting playback.┬ Before upgrading to iOS 7.1.1 this never happened.┬ Phone is placed in cup holder in center console so signal strength should not be an issue.┬
Not sure if the phone's handfree part would still work.┬ I am suspecting that it does not.┬
Whenever my Atrix is in the car dock when I'm on a phone call, the bluetooth will disconnect and the phone speaker comes on. It intermittently will reconnect/disconnect bouncing between the car speakers and the phone speaker. I've tried using another car dock, another USB cable and 3 different USB car chargers.
Music works fine on the bluetooth but once I take a phone call is when all the troubles start.
I "think" this is the trigger. When I'm on a call my phone will drop the connection to the car handsfree link and revert to the phone (you can still see the bluetooth icon lit) whenever I receive a notification for anything. If it's a text, email, or whatever the call will suddenly cut out go to the phone and then 10 seconds later or so reconnect to the car stereo.
Anyone having problems with bluetooth headsets dropping connections? I have a Motorola H17txt and Bose Series II, both will start cutting in and out, then completely drop the connection after about five minutes.
When I leave the phone sitting for a few minutes it drops from H+ to H meaning I can't access the internet on IE or receive Whatsapp messages. If I toggle flight mode on and off or restart the phone it works fine for maybe 10 minutes or so.
I have network selected manually, I have tried automatic selection, it makes no difference. I also have 3G set as the highest connection speed. I upgraded to WP8.1 last week but have had no issues until now.
My sound keep cutting out while I am in call :( The sound works great on speakerphone but as soon as I switch back to the normal earpiece it cuts out intermittently.
Music works great and earphones work fine too, It only drops sound when I make/and receive calls. It's a real pain to have a conversation when you can't hear the other person 50% of the time.
I recently had a new battery and another internal battery/charging related component changed because the battery wouldn't hold a charge or charge at all for that matter. They also changed the screen and rear case which was nice :D But the sound fault was not there before I sent my phone off for repair so it could be the new audio jack on the rear case that is faulty ...
I have strange issue with my phone. Calls on my phone drop almost certainly when I'm on 2G network. When on 3G this rarely ( or almost never) happens.
Same sim card works very well in other phones. This is issue is just on 2G network. I do not get 3G network every where so i cannot ignore this issue.
Nokia care unit says this phone might have hardware issue and quoting about same amount of repairs of cost of new phone. They claim this needs to be sent to factory for repairs.( this phone is out of warranty in region where I am using it).
Ever since Denim have been psyched to take my Icon to a concert and capture some 4k video. indeed, the sound is incredible. video is pretty good. but the recording seems to "hiccup" every 20-30 seconds. here's a 4k clip from last week: and then here is a "mere" HD clip from the same concert. it also skips: I can't think of anything I did to prompt this behavior.
I've got a Nokia Lumia 800 and every two weeks, the time has dropped behind by about 7 minutes and I have to fix it. I've had it for just over a month and just set the time for the third time. This simply wont work as I use the phone for scheduling and appointments. Now there is meant to be the option for the time to be updated by the carrier automatically, I've been into shops and compared my phone to the new ones and mine, for some reason does not have the feature. I don't have the option to turn it on or off, I just get the ability to change date, time and timezone.
Since the 8.1 update hit my 1520 completely drops my home WiFi and I have to find and type the code back in every few days. An one else having this problem and a fix or how do I go back to 8.0 and I also miss the speech recognition on the 8.0 version.
I have been trying to pair my plantronics plt m29 to my iphone and all i get is not paired and shows now discoverable!! what else should I do? I followed the manufaturer directions and what someone said about turning off the iphone bluetooth then put the bluetooth in paring mode and turn on the phone bluetooth.
I have a Plantronics 510 headset that I'm trying to pair with my new Samsung Solstice. The problem is that I can't get the headset to enter paring mode. I turned the headset off and held the call button and volume up but simultaneously but it doesn't give me the alternating blue/red led like the AT&T website says it should? Any ideas?
