The phone was given to me secondhand by a friend. It has no sevice since I cannot use it with my carrier, and I use it kind of like an iPod touch. How can I get the PUK code?

I recently accidentally locked the sim card on my motorola photon 4g and was wondering as to how I would find the PUK unlock code for the sim card. I called sprint technical support and they informed me that they do not have access to that information and I had asked someone from motorola and they told me the same thing.

Everytime when I connect my Iphone to my Mac and open Iphoto with a phone connection, a warnig window keeps popping up. Showing "Photos in the Camera Roll on "Iphone 4S" cannot be viewed or imported because the iPhone is locked with a passcode." But i have never set up any passocde for my camera roll.

My beloved iphone 4s was dropped in water. I have dried it out in rice for 7 days but the screen isn't working. I plugged it into my laptop to see if I can back up as I will be absolutely devastated if I lose my pictures but it says 'itunes cannot back up the phone as it is locked with a passcode'. I have always backed up to this computer so don't understand why it is asking for this now!

i follow this instructions
1. Turn off all of the wireless connections (manage connections - turn all connections off)
2. Go to the Options icon on the device
3. Select Advanced Options
4. Select SIM Card
5. Hit the Menu key to select Show Keyboard
6. Enter mepd (you will not be able to see the typed info)(enter just the mepd, no spaces, etc.)
7. Enter the letters: mep2 but it doesnot prompt

My phone seems to be locked, with the itunes logo and image of a usb cord with an arrow pointing toward the icon. The only thing it will do is slide open to make an emergency call. There is a little lock symbol at the top. I connected to my mac to upload photos, and it wanted to upgrade softwear, so I clicked ok. Now in my Itunes screen, it says that the sim card is not supported and that i need a compatible sim card. I have been using this phone for a year with no problems. Did Apple find a way to lock any phones that are synced thru Itunes, that are not using AT&T?

I was updating and installing to iOS4 when my iphone 3G suddenly says it can't read my SIM card and was locked. On my iTunes screen I was told I needed to insert a SIM card in order to continue with the installation of the iOS4. I used my friend's SIM card and my iphone was able to detect it however my itunes would only allow me to the option to restore my iphone which I did and now all my camera roll, notes, contacts and sms are gone and the backups in my iTunes are all post-iPhone-crash.

Took all the usual precautions like removing remote lock (didn't reset the custom lock code to default) backup content to PC & memory card, then removed the card from the phone before upgrade. Then after upgrade and restoring settings inserted the card & was prompted for a password.
