I HAVE A BLACKBERRY BOLD 9700 AND THE PROBLEM IS THAT; I CANT GET ACCESS TO MOST PART OF THE PHONE ESPECIALLY WORKING WITH THE MEDIA CARD ASPECT OF THE PHONE. I HAVE AN 8GB CARD BUT MY PHONE DOESNT RECORGNISE IT. SECONDLY; I HAVE ANOTHER 2GB BUT ITS STILL NOT WORKING.

Please help me as i don t want to format my memory card as have a lot's of application and a very important data. Took all the usual precautions like removing remote lock (didn't reset the custom lock code to default) backup content to PC & memory card, then removed the card from the phone before upgrade. Then after upgrade and restoring settings inserted the card & was prompted for a password. Tried lock code/default lock code before and various other passwords before figuring out it might be the message text for the remote lock.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have had an X6 for about a month now, and the slider keyguard on the phone had broken off. The phone is now in a permanent state of saying 'use keyguard to unlock keys and screen'. Obviously I cant because it doesn't work!!
I have tried leaving it switched off for 15 mins, and restating it. This lets me restart the time and date but then locks once the phone opens up. I have tried a drawing pin and paper clip to slide the keyguard without the keyguard but to no avail.

i own a 5800 and when i tried to access to the memory card through the file manager it says the card was corrupted. but when i inserted the card in a memory card reader, it works accept that i cant eject it and a pop-up window came out saying an error occured while ejecting the card. it is a 8Gb memory card. i found a solution similar to my situation but is there any other alternative ways that doesn't require me to download huge files?

Well I guess the Android platform has just about got that problem licked. They are just around the corner from letting this jewel out. The people from Google said it may be just a "little" slower but will be very usable. The response I received from the forum was that the 9700 had plenty of storage for as many apps as you needed and still operate fast. Agreed but what will happen with the new OS and this great browser around the corner arrives. Many of the phones won't be able to use the new OS because of memory problems so that tells me that it may slow down the 9700 if too many apps are loaded. That is where the ability to save and run apps from memory card will be needed. Android put it together very fast why the **** can't Rim or some company put one together that works?
