Issue: After upgrading to version 4.6.0.282 the ring tone volume is very low, even when the profile setting has the tone set to High I often miss the call, I have tried turning on "Audio Boost" with no change, tried a hard re-boot, no change. Volume of calls are fine, it's the ring tones, I have the same ring tone in use as before the O/S upgrade so this hasn't changed, no other (new) apps have been installed, just the O/S upgraded. I can't find any sort of master volume control setting in any of the forums is there such a setting, how do I get the volumes back to normal?

Wife is looking at getting an iPhone. Is it possible to have only the phone ring? Silent for everything else. She is an RN and is on call at night. Third part app is fine. She is used to a BlackBerry which does this natively. Also, any way to have different alerts for sms/mms and for multiple email accounts? I have conflicting information on this and wonder if anyone can shed some light.

I have to go to each feed and reset the update schedule each time I run out of battery or change to my backup battery. Im using the built in RSS reader that you configure through the "Web" browser application. I am using this to display 3 feeds as widgets on the home screen. has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions.

Oct 16, 2014I received a Nokia 1520.3 that was swapped by Nokia service center yesterday. My old model was Nokia RM-938_Ita_Ita_905 which work fine expect white dots; the new model is Nokia RM-938_nam_canada_104.
The first thing I notice is that my new phone doesn't recognize the T-Mobile LTE, in the Setting, the maximum connection speed is only 3G which I used getting LTE. I also exchanged the SIM card in the T-Mobile store, still the same.
Another thing is, cannot update to Windows phone 8.1. I tried Hard reset, soft reset, use the Nokia Recovery Tool... still cannot get windows phone 8.1 update.

When someone calls me, my phone rings once and then there is a long delay before it rings again. My daughter has the Bold and she uses the same ringtone and doesn't have this problem. The only time I can hear sound is when the headset is in. I have tried removing the battery, but still no luck. There has not been any water damage to this phone. It was working fine for a while, and then one day it just stopped.

I would like my bb8520 to function as any $20dollar phone would, which is to ring every 2 seconds instead of every 10 seconds.My phone rings, then 10 seconds later it rings again, by the time 10 more seconds have gone by, the caller either hangs up or is sent to voice mail. If you miss the first ring, hear the second but take a little while to find or reach your phone, you miss the call.
Is there any way I can decrease the time between rings?? I really hope someone has a solution besides contacting the carrier. The caller usually hears about 8 to 10 rings before it goes to voice mail, so it is not a carrier issue. The problem is for me, not for my caller.I have already changed the profiles every which way, you can only change the number of vibrations, but not the rings. My only solution so far has been to program a song as a ringtone so it lasts longer, but I prefer a regular ring ring. I'ts incredible that RIM hasn't been able to make this easy.
