On my Samsung Galaxy S4 Active I could use Any Cut to create a short cut, and while Any Cut still has limited functionality on 4.4.2 it no longer shows Playlists. Jul 20, 2010I have just received a new Sony Ericsson Elm. On my K800i, there is a play button on the left side of the phone which is really handy for playing music. But on the Elm getting to the music player is a lot more difficult, even though I create a shortcut to the "media" option, in order to access to the music player.
I will have to scroll down once, select "music", then click on "resume", which is rather inconvenient. I just wondered is it possible to create a one touch shortcut to "Music Player"?

Dec 16, 2011On my Bionic, when I put it into the standard dock the dock applicaiton normally starts. Sometimes after I have needed to access a couple of applications without taking the phone out of the dock... the dock application will not come back up without removing the phone from the dock completely. Obviously I don't want to have to do that every time. Is there a way to create a shortcut to the dock application? Also, the last update is overriding the dock application screen timeout?

Mar 14, 2012I updated the firmware of my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1 yesterday. After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?

Sep 12, 2014I had an iPhone 5s which I broke so I am using a friend's old Galaxy and am debating on getting the iPhone 6, but one thing I REALLY like about Android is the fact that it automatically places photos generated by certain apps into their own albums, in particular WhatsApp and Viber. On my iPhone these pics would just get intermingled in the Camera Roll album. I read another post that said this was the responsibility of the app developer to make that possible. Why they would make it possible for Android and not iOS?

Apr 16, 2010I have am x6, and in the main am happy with it. However as previous owner of 3 diff n series, there are a couple of usability issues that drive me up the wall! For instance, i came to rely on the 'menu plus c' shortcut to quickly close apps. But no matter where i look, i haven't found a similar shortcut on the x6. Which means closing apps can only be done by going back in and doing it manually from within the app. Annoying and slow Is it me, or has that kind of shortcut been removed? Can anyone help? The Quick Start guide that came with my phone has two pages expplaining basic functions. One box shows being able to Move/Delete Icons, but it only shows how to delete them. Use the long Touvh to move it to the trash can icon. But I don't want to delete them, I want to move or copy them to a personal apps folder.

Jul 2, 2012I've lost all of the ios 5 apps -- settings, weather, contacts, phone, messaging, safari, etc -- on my phone. I tried the "search iphone" to the left, but found nothing. I can receive texts, but when I swipe the screen to read it I get this response, "this url wasn't loaded: sms:/open?groupid=655". Also, I can receive calls, but am not able to place calls. When I sync to itunes the apps/icons still don't show up. I've looked through all the folders & found nothing outta place.
