i bought this (nokia x302) last month and was perfectly responding to usb port but now it not ever responding to it. i have chacked all the ways but no use.i m takeing nokia care as last option as they take one month for small problems. i would also like to knw that does it have mark option for selecting unwanted sms and deleting them.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia X3-02. I had a problem with the camera, each time I open it it says "Operation Failed" then goes to standby mode. I tried to restore it to factory settings, didn't work. I connected it to the Ovi Suit to check for updates, is said "There are no updates" and something like "If you are experiencing problems with the current version, you can reinstall it" so I did. I followed the steps, made the backup, waited for a while, then when the reinstall process was done, the touch screen wasn't working anymore, the keypad is working fine, the volume up/down buttons are working, everything is working except the touch screen. Its not responding! I tried to reinstall again. Still the same. I tried to reinstall, without doing a backup.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just updated my X7-00 to Nokia Belle, In the Gallery app, when I press the Share button in the bottom bar it says "Feature not supported", why is that?. Also, the Nokia Recommends app doesn't work and always tells me it has problems with the connection, even though I'm already connected to a Wi-Fi network and every other thing on the phone works. I re-installed the update again but the same problems exist.

My phone errors out when I setup the account through the phone. Koodo does not allow setting it up through a browser. So, 2 months ago, We went to the local Nokia Care Point (there is only one in Guadeloupe). We went today to this shop to have news about my mobile and, the guy explained me that the nokia's factory bring them up the phone and could'n repair it... He gave me back my phone, but he didn't give me back my poor little micro-USB port.
So, I have 2 questions :
First : what are the solutions proposed by Nokia for the customers in French West Indies (Guadeloupe and Martinique) ?
Second : why do you propose low quality services for us (comparatively with "normal" customers from France) ?
I will be getting this phone tomorow, and would like to know, is it safe to connect it via the 3.5mm cable to car head unit aux port, and use it as a music player.I have an now quite old Pioneer head unit, which doesn't have USB port, so playing music from CDs is a pain, and of course playing it through phone would make lifa a lot easier, but I don't want to damage it in the process.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI was able to charge my lumia 900 with my car (Toyota Prius 2010) USB until the latest firmware upgrade. Only catch was to use original cable came along with phone. It didn't accept any other micro USB cables. But after the latest update even the original cable doesn't work! All the cables works well to charge the phone when connected to laptop. I am having hard time using it as i frequently travel.Ideally i should be able to charge with any micro USB cable in the car. Could you guys suggest any workarounds or fixes?Not to mention my iPhone was perfect in USB recharge though it is a slow recharge.

Just in 3+ weeks USB port metal shield in phone was ruptured from phone circuit board and metal holding came out with the cable. Board was not damaged as I could get USB working by keeping cable in manually in right position but as it was not secured it stopped working as soon as phone moved even slightly. Using Nokia Comes with Music/Ovi store during Xmas heavily I connected/disconnected usb 200+ times in this short time frame.
Nokia repair shop took the phone for repairs for over 5 weeks and surprised by a billed (40 Euros) statement that it can't be repaired satisfactorily. It's not within Nokia limited warranty terms and I should by a new phone! I can't complain as consumer as I bought phone for my company and can't use my private insurance to cover replacement. As I bought it via an operator I'm wondering whose Quality Assurance I should now complain. As a telecoms consultant I've advised several equipment manufacturers on quality assurance but this really puzzles me.
I had to do a hard reset to my nokia X6 today and before i did i backed up the phone using content copier. After the restore, i tried several times to restore my contacts and messages back but keeps failing? Worst case senario is there anyway to get the contact info out of the .nbu file?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy N85. 2 weeks back, it got stuck and after switch off and switch on, it's not responding as soon as press keypad. atleast taking 1-2 mins and some time doesn't accept anything. after 2-3 restarts, it was ok. but from 3 days onwards, it's complytly addicted to this behaviour. once if it switch on, it's working fine. but once it get stcuk again or switched off, it's same old thing. i removed memory card, flashed freshly with new firmware and several hard/soft formats. nothing is preventing this behaviour.

I solve the problem only when I remove the battery. It has happened several times during last month. View 4 Replies View RelatedI had earlier configured a wi-fi access point on my E72 and everything was running perfect. One day the Destinations started showing me only the GPRS access point even when I had the wi-fi on First Priority and the wifi was running correctly.
Now I deleted the access point from the list and tried to reconfigure it. Whenever I select new access point and enter the wi-fi pass-code (WPA2), nothing happens on the screen. At the same time, when I click on the options button or the back button, nothing works. The settings window is just stuck there And I am just unable to configure wi-fi. Any ideas?
I am having a problem with maps going crazy and acting like 'dead drunk'. Changing routes while driving, wiggling map-screen, and ordering me to drive in circles with U turn commands getting me no-where.It worked very well and suddenly the whole of maps goes nuts. What could be the problem?

I live in Trinidad, so there is no recognized company or nokia trianed technicians I can send it to.I did however send it to a general phone technician, he said that the touch sensor isnt working and he needs to get a touch sensor (have to wait 2-3weeks for this as there is a lack of parts for the N97 in my country also.I only read about the "hard reset" today on these forums, I plan to retrieve the phone from the technician tomorrow and try the hard reset but any information or ideas in the meantime would be greatly appreciated.
I believe the phone may have fell down atleast once (sibling may have dropped it and didnt tell me)
After a week of having had the E72, the one-touch buttons for Contacts, Calendar and Messaging have all stopped responding. Neither a long nor short press results in any action being taken.Any ideas on how to resolve this?

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy N82 served me very loyally for an yr since yesterday, when i was listening to music and ran to catch my bus, my cell was in my jeans pocket. After that my cell is not responding to any key input from my Handsfree/headset WH 701 & HS-43 but sound comes from both earphones. I tested my handsfree on another n82 and other models and it is working fine. Still other models 3.5mm handsfree are having same isuue now with my cell, the calls cannot be cut and nor the volume or tracks could be changed.Apart from thsi my N82 is working fine.
I backed up my cell data and hard and soft formatted it but the issue havent gone.What could have gone wrong with the 3.5mm port?
My nokia 5800 Express music V40 go into no-response mode frequently. Means no outgoing calls possible and incoming callers say getting message "phone switched off". After switch off and re-start, functioning normal again.

I have bought it and hard reset it yesterday with button combination and also with factory settings option.Now, the problem is that when i start any installation, it asks to install it. When i press ok it proceeds to neXt dialogue, either asking for permissions or asking to close an app, depending o the sis file.NOW, a moment before this dialogue, i get totally black screen for milliseconds. And then i cannot touch any button when the prompt appears. I can switch to menu and hs using hardware keys but cannot touch anything on screen. Long pressing menu key allows me to touch the screen and close apps but i can't touch anything else. I can also use power key menu to shut down mobile.Everything else is normal otherwise, i even installed many apps today successfully but now this problem occurs.

View 1 Replies View Relatedabout 1 month back, my lumia 900 has the following problems : screen not responding, screen becomes sensitive (things moving by itself etc), soft resetting brings a funny problem, screen scrolling by itself and goes to settings of applications, won't stop until i did another soft reset. i have to soft reset few times for the phone to be stable.then i did a hard reset abt 3 weeks back. reinstall everything, the applications. the phone was stable but last week faced the same problems i mentioned above. i brought the phone to nokia service center and explained everything. got it back last weekend. i asked what they did. They only updated back the firmware (which i could have done myself via zune).unfortunately today, i faced the same problem. Quite frustrated as i expect quality from Nokia. don't know if this is a hardware problem or s/ware. if i bring to nokia service center, they maybe do another firmware reinstallation. really hope from some insights from nokia.with lumia 920 coming , the resale value will surely drop. i will be forced to let go the phone if problem cannot be solved and suffer a big drop in second hand value.
