i has planing to buy Nokia X3 Touch. i want to buy with gsm systems. But after i read in mikaon.com/nokia-x3-02-touch-and-type/nokia-x3-touch-and-type-data-sheet-2 the system running is WCDMA and GSM. Whether Nokia X3 Touch can run with both system ?

View 3 Replies View RelatedDaughter got scammed on a Craigslist Touch Pro CDMA Alltel. It won't boot, just says Touch Pro for a few seconds then buzzes and reboots. It will do it forever.If I understand correctly, there a boot loader, then a rom. To do a non-OEM rom, you need to unlock the bootloader.Figured out how to get into boot loader mode and successfully flashed with latest ROM from HTC. Not clear if I put a new one on or reflashed the same one. No improvement. Now it says RAPH800 SPL-0.40.0000 MicroP-Hermann (etc).
I can't unlock the loader. Tried Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037 and got an error 262. In fact I tried all the others, ReLocker, Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_025_MFG just for the heck of it with the same error.I'm assuming that if I can unlock it, then put MightyRom or something similar.Would there be some other issue? Like a hardware problem stoping a preboot hardware test? It won't power on to the SPL when the battery *isn't* in place, power supply on. Nor do the boot loop run with no battery. If it's in boot loader mode, you can pull the batter.

I'm obviously new here and I'm pretty much clueless about what I need to do. I have unlocked my Touch Pro 2 and have tried to call into Boost Mobile Customer Support multiple times any they will not activate it because it's not 'Boost Equipment'. I have told them my new phone is a gift and I don't know what it is and things of that nature but they ALWAYS ask me for the DEC number and I'm not sure how to get around that. I currently have a Sanyo Incognito hooked up to my Boost Mobile Unlimited Monthly account. I need to know if anyone can help me get it activated? I have spent way too much money on this phone to just have it sit there and do nothing.

It is my first time to by a nokia touch screen phone and now the touch screen is not working any more. I tried to update the software to version 6.but no change. I feel robbed by nokia as I wasted my money on this phone. Now I can not unlock the phone, I have to switch off the phone and I cant type or save a number,I cant view missed calls and messages. I took it back to MTNSP and they told me it cannot be fixed and they gave me a new handset.
The new handset: Now its a new problem, everytime I download software from Ovi, it start hanging, touchscreen not working. I switch it off and on again and it works for about 30 seconds and hangs/freezes. It does this everytime. I tried to delete the programs again but it keeps on doing the same thing. I tried to scan with antivirus program but still no solution
The dedicated media key on my new X6 16gb (firmware v12.0.091) suddenly stopped working. When I press it ,still get vibration feedback to indicate a key press has occurred but the pop down menu no longer appears. Can't link it to an specific event. Was working originally, now it isn't.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought my Nokia X3-02 in 2011. It worked well for 11 months and in the 12th month, its touchscreen stopped working. It was under warranty so I went to Nokia service centre and they changed the Touch screen Digitizer.It worked well for few days and meanwhile its warranty expired. Now it has the same problem and the touch screen doesn't work at all. So, I put the phone back to the phone and started using my other phone.after 2-3 days, I thought that I should take the phone to the service centre, so removed the batter and inserted the SIM card. I started the phone and touch screen was working fine. I thought, I am lucky as the touch screen is working now. But after few hours probably 3-4, the touch screen stopped working again. Quite weird behaviour.So, if i put the phone to off for around 1 day and starts using it again then the touch works and after few hours it stops working again. I went to service centre again and they said, they would firstly change the touch screen ( price INR 1500) and after that they could comment on the phone's behaviour.
UPDATE: I have updated the phone firmware to latest one. Touch works even after 5 hours but not the exact point of contact.. When i try to press Menu, it always activates the Address/exit button, so the wherever you touch it activates the right side of the area.
I have a Nokia X7-00. Sometimes after receiving a call, the touch screen doesn't work at all. I can not do anything on that apart from pressing the main button. I can not even switch that off and if I plug it in to the charger, still the mobile doesn't get charged. Today something weired happened like that, and i removed the SIM still that mobile is ringing and ringing as I cant do anything on the touch screen. Another problem is that, the headset is not working anymore to listen music or to receive call through that, It happened after the Belle update.My main concern is about the Touch screen.

I have an X8 that was repaired a few months ago due to a cracked screen.Yesterday the touch screen stopped working, the screen still displays everything it should and the menu, camera, lock and volume buttons work fine, but touching the screen does nothing which makes doing anything with the phone impossible.I've switched it on and off many times, including holding the power button until I get 3 vibrations and no luck. I've fully charged the phone and tested it whilst it's charging.I don't think there's been any damage, but it could have taken a knock whilst being in my pocket.

Proximity sensor works and the screen fades to where my ear. I do not know how to obtain it but it is very nasty. Version of software after the update is 30.0.003 but the problem remained.

I tried to restore it to factory settings, didn't work. I connected it to the Ovi Suit to check for updates, is said "There are no updates" and something like "If you are experiencing problems with the current version, you can reinstall it" so I did. I followed the steps, made the backup, waited for a while, then when the reinstall process was done, the touch screen wasn't working anymore, the keypad is working fine, the volume up/down buttons are working, everything is working except the touch screen. Its not responding! I tried to reinstall again. Still the same. I tried to reinstall, without doing a backup.

I've tried hard reseting my phone, but the thing is i've put on a lock code. So whenever i turn my cell on it asks for lock code which i can't input cause of the touch screen being down. View 4 Replies View RelatedI just bought the new Nokia 5233 phone.Whenever the phone is locked and I set a alarm. There is no way i can stop the alaram other than to reset the alarm manually by alarms-> edit.
There will be two touch buttons that apper on the otuch screen. One to stop and other to snooze the alarm. Even If press them, it wont work. The alaram keeps ringing. I even tried clicking on the green button and the menu botton at the bottom. Still no use. I cant even unlock the phone. Only thing i can do is press the red button at the end, which will snooze the alarm. After this, I have to manually change the alarm time.
The same thing happens even with phone calls. I cannot use the touch button that apper on the touch screen. I have to use the green and red button at the bottom.These problem come into picture only if the phone is locked. Otherwise it works fine.
My 5800 touch screen is not responding well like any touch screen should. Compared with my friend's phone and he said there is definite problem with touch. Now is this rectifiable? Or better to go for an exchange? I dont trust Nokia Care because my e72 is still with them for some error which they are not explaning properly. Poor customer service.

My Sprint/Metro PCS HTC Diamond's touch screen all of a sudden stopped responding.If it had a keyboard like the PRO would've been no problem but NO KEYBOARD.Even though I did a PIM backup and had my old PRO handy and now connected I really want to see if I can get it back to life!!I opened it yesterday (thinking maybe it got loose and I could "just" connect it right) and could not get all the way to the screen so I decided to leave it alone, for now..Googled and all I got was GMS videos and stuff so I was wondering that maybe someone here has done it and could help me get to the screen and replace it...

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm thinking about upgrading from a Pearl to a Tour (both cdma) so that when I'm traveling in the U.S. I can unlock it and use a tmobile or at&t sim it, to cut down on roaming costs. I'm confused as to how it works though. If I put a sim card in there does it completely negate the cdma portion of the phone...using the sim card provider's data/text messages/voice plan or is there a way to access both the cdma and sim card at the same time?
For example I'd like to use my cdma text package and data while using the voice/talk time portion on the sim. Is this possible? Sorry for the noobie confufflement
