Feb 25, 2010Daughter got scammed on a Craigslist Touch Pro CDMA Alltel. It won't boot, just says Touch Pro for a few seconds then buzzes and reboots. It will do it forever.If I understand correctly, there a boot loader, then a rom. To do a non-OEM rom, you need to unlock the bootloader.Figured out how to get into boot loader mode and successfully flashed with latest ROM from HTC. Not clear if I put a new one on or reflashed the same one. No improvement. Now it says RAPH800 SPL-0.40.0000 MicroP-Hermann (etc).
I can't unlock the loader. Tried Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037 and got an error 262. In fact I tried all the others, ReLocker, Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_025_MFG just for the heck of it with the same error.I'm assuming that if I can unlock it, then put MightyRom or something similar.Would there be some other issue? Like a hardware problem stoping a preboot hardware test? It won't power on to the SPL when the battery *isn't* in place, power supply on. Nor do the boot loop run with no battery. If it's in boot loader mode, you can pull the batter.

HTC :: Sprint Touch Pro 2 Needs To Be Activated On Current Boost Mobile CDMA Account
Jun 14, 2010I'm obviously new here and I'm pretty much clueless about what I need to do. I have unlocked my Touch Pro 2 and have tried to call into Boost Mobile Customer Support multiple times any they will not activate it because it's not 'Boost Equipment'. I have told them my new phone is a gift and I don't know what it is and things of that nature but they ALWAYS ask me for the DEC number and I'm not sure how to get around that. I currently have a Sanyo Incognito hooked up to my Boost Mobile Unlimited Monthly account. I need to know if anyone can help me get it activated? I have spent way too much money on this phone to just have it sit there and do nothing.

The PC just don't recognize ANYTHING when I plug into the usb port.The computer is good, the cable is good, nokia pc suite is good. Everything is good, unless the phone.I think it's a hardware failure of the phone. Do you have any ideas?

Aug 21, 2010Checked the forum and did not find any on this post! Ran my battery down to 4% and radio did not turn off. Has Rim done away with this feature? Not very often i have the battery down this low, and i know it is not good for the battery. I just wanted to see if it would turn off. I plugged my phone in at 4% so I did not run the battery any lower. I thought it was at 5% that it would turn off. Is the percentage lower? Or is RADIO OFF gone?

Jun 19, 2010I want to use an SMTP server which is not provided by the operator (network or broadband). The only form of authentication catered for seems to be "POP before SMTP" where you have to authorise sending using the same login as you first receive with.
Settings I see are:
Incoming : there is no field for remote mailbox address - weird?
Outgoing: there IS a field for remote mailbox address - why? The username and password fields provided seem to relate to this remote mailbox address, not to the SMTP server. (Anyway, they already exist in incoming settings)
E.g. I can receive from my remote mailbox fine. That's "me@tiscali.co.uk" I can't authenticate using the "smtp.o2.co.uk" server to send using my address of "me@tiscali.co.uk" as there is nowhere to enter my o2 authentication details. (I can send unauthorised to o2 addresses)
The above example works fine in Profimail email client and with Profimail I can send emails carrying the "me@tiscali.co.uk" address with o2 authentication via the o2 SMTP server by either t-mobile network or by tiscali broadband WLAN to any of various test addresses.

Mar 17, 2010I am a writer: There are about 3000 messages saved in my Nokia 2630. It seems that PC SUit or OVI can not handle or transfer this amount of messages.For example, when attempt to read messages of the phone, OVI writes: Reading failed. Fail to read message from this device.
Does anybody know a solution to this problem, besides copying by hand 3000 messages? Is there another way around?

Mar 4, 2010When I initially set up my Nokia N97, I added several email accounts with no problem. But now when I need to add an account, it is not possible any more.
The Help tells me to go to Messages > Options >Settings > Email > Email accounts and choose Options > New email account. But under Email accounts > Options there is no option New email account any more. Why is that?

I have successfully setup the scanner with both my thumbs and my right index finger. Aug 6, 2010This is my first iPhone, and I don't usually make or receive a lot of calls, (I communicate much more with texts.) I received 2 calls recently and it was almost impossible to hear the other person. I tried hitting the + on the side, but it didn't seem to affect the sound volume. Is there something I am missing in the settings, or something else I am missing? I don't use any type of headset/headphones, as those are prohibited at work. I will say I have a Belkin case on the phone, so it's possible I may not have been hitting the volume controls like I thought. I just wondered if there was something I was missing elsewhere. I am hoping this is just operator error and nothing wrong with the phone.

Dec 2, 2014For the past two months after update to iOS 8 i started experiencing Blue Screen of death from time to time.I was ignoring this issue by simple restart, but from today it became unbearable.Blue screen of death appears without any reason and puts iPhone into constant reload which can take hours.Â
I decided to put it into Restore mode, but that blue screen appears even in the middle of the restore - not allowing me even to restore it (constant error 9). I googled the fix - but even though this issue is widespread - there are no known fixes which work to date. What shocks me the most is that Apple is silent about it.Â
