just wondering what HTC models are compatible with my CDMA HTC Touch (Vogue) model?Is it the same as HTC Touch 6900 ? In terms of battery size?

I had ALOT of problems trying to flash my HTC Touch to CricKet so here is a guide to flash your phone and skip the problems I had.
1. Download GetSPC
2. Copy GetSPC.exe to the device its self or to a SD card.
3. Browse the device to find the GetSPC using File Explorer.
4. Run GetSPC
5. Enter your ESN HEX in the first box and then press "go" or something
6. In the "output" box it should be a 6 diget number.
7. Write this down you'll need it later.
8. Put the phone into "DIAG" mode by dialing ##3424# a program should launch
9. Once launched plug the phone Via USB into your computer
10. Drivers should install if not heres what I use -> Drivers
11. Download QPST
12. Once installed launch QPST Configuration
13. It should say SURF##### or something if not add ports, keep adding ports until phone is detected.
14. Once detected click on "Start Clients" then "Service Programing"
15. Once launched click on your phone.
16. Select "Read from phone" at the bottom
17. under codes change the "Service Programing code" to 000000
18. Then select "Write to phone"
19. Click on the "Roaming" or "Roam" Tab
20. Download a CricKet .PRL file from here
21. Once downloaded click on "Browse" on QPST Service Programing
22. Locate the CricKet .PRL
23. Select "Write to phone"
24. Then you'll need to call CricKet and ask them for your MSID or MID to your phone number, or if you already had a Windows Mobile phone dial ##000000#
25. Then you'll need to dial ##PST# (##778#)
26. Then Follow these steps -> Steps Credits to RyanMogul6800 for settings
27. Then you should run a CricKet ROM
MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE HAS BEEN UNLOCKED USING COKEMAN'S 2.31 UNLOCKER!!

29. You'll need to run a CricKet ROM Vetvito, makes some pretty good ROMs here is a link to them -> Link
30. Once you run the ROM updater you'll need to get a CricKet .CAB for Internet and MMS heres the .CAB
31. After that you should just need to activate it on your CricKet account
32. Go out and show off how great CricKet really is!!!

View 1 Replies View RelatedDaughter got scammed on a Craigslist Touch Pro CDMA Alltel. It won't boot, just says Touch Pro for a few seconds then buzzes and reboots. It will do it forever.If I understand correctly, there a boot loader, then a rom. To do a non-OEM rom, you need to unlock the bootloader.Figured out how to get into boot loader mode and successfully flashed with latest ROM from HTC. Not clear if I put a new one on or reflashed the same one. No improvement. Now it says RAPH800 SPL-0.40.0000 MicroP-Hermann (etc).
I can't unlock the loader. Tried Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037 and got an error 262. In fact I tried all the others, ReLocker, Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_025_MFG just for the heck of it with the same error.I'm assuming that if I can unlock it, then put MightyRom or something similar.Would there be some other issue? Like a hardware problem stoping a preboot hardware test? It won't power on to the SPL when the battery *isn't* in place, power supply on. Nor do the boot loop run with no battery. If it's in boot loader mode, you can pull the batter.
I'm obviously new here and I'm pretty much clueless about what I need to do. I have unlocked my Touch Pro 2 and have tried to call into Boost Mobile Customer Support multiple times any they will not activate it because it's not 'Boost Equipment'. I have told them my new phone is a gift and I don't know what it is and things of that nature but they ALWAYS ask me for the DEC number and I'm not sure how to get around that. I currently have a Sanyo Incognito hooked up to my Boost Mobile Unlimited Monthly account. I need to know if anyone can help me get it activated? I have spent way too much money on this phone to just have it sit there and do nothing.

I've installed the new Ovi Maps 3.03 on my Nokia E72, and I got the Events, Weather and Lonely Planet guide.
However, there's no Michelin Guide on my Ovi Maps 3.03.
I also notice that the PDF documentation has 2 versions, one for the non-touch GPS phones (eg. E52/E55/E72) and another for touch GPS phones (eg. 5800 XM, N97 mini).I am guessing that the Michelin Guide is only present on the Touch version phones (5800 XM and N97 Mini). Could any users who have installed the new Ovi Maps 3.03 confirm if this is correct? Kindly indicate your phone model and whether you have Michelin Guide included with the new Ovi Maps...

What is happening is that our new company e-mail signature now includes our logo, our group logo and 6 small boxes which are hyperlinked to redirect back to our corporate site when clicked on. I have brought the overall signature as far down as 120kbs which is fine for a desktop email client, but when staff are using their phone to open up an internal e-mail which contains the signature, the phone hangs for about 1min with a progress bar that simply states "opening". This is a concern for the company as it would mean higher data charges for field users.
I assumed that the phone only read e-mails in plain text, but appears to be downloading the whole message (I think). When I open the test email and see the message details on the phone...the Nokia says 24kb. am I right in thinking that the phone is not in fact downloading the full message but only the text portion which is 24kb's??

My Sprint/Metro PCS HTC Diamond's touch screen all of a sudden stopped responding.If it had a keyboard like the PRO would've been no problem but NO KEYBOARD.Even though I did a PIM backup and had my old PRO handy and now connected I really want to see if I can get it back to life!!I opened it yesterday (thinking maybe it got loose and I could "just" connect it right) and could not get all the way to the screen so I decided to leave it alone, for now..Googled and all I got was GMS videos and stuff so I was wondering that maybe someone here has done it and could help me get to the screen and replace it...
