I made a reinstall on my macbook pro turning on OS X lion, and then after making all the updates, itunes does not show emails accounts in the "info" tab...
Impossible to check "synchronize emails"..

iPhone 4, Mac OS X (10.6.8), iphone 4.3.5 and itunes 10.4 (80)
When i launch the synchronisation, I get the following message: "Impossible de se connecter à Exchange server. Verifier l'accès au serveur ou saisissez un mot de passe valide".

Problem 2: Before, when I didin't get the Problem 1, I still could'nt synchro the calender properly because it was telling me to switch off the wireless connection, but the indication on how to desactivate it don't correspond to my BB menu!
When I initially set up my Nokia N97, I added several email accounts with no problem. But now when I need to add an account, it is not possible any more.
The Help tells me to go to Messages > Options >Settings > Email > Email accounts and choose Options > New email account. But under Email accounts > Options there is no option New email account any more. Why is that?
I can not add any of my mail accounts to my new Bold 9700. I'm on 3UK. They can't solve the problem.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've recently got a BlackBerry Bold 9780, I am used to have smartphones with my company email all the time, changes I do in my desktop/server I want them in my smartphone and viceversa, we don't use M$ Outlook in the company, we have IMAP accounts.This is, maybe, the most basic feature of a smartphone but until now it seems that BlackBerry just has a 1-way email synchronization, changes that you do in your desktop/server do not reflect in your BlackBerry, if this is true the only thing I will miss wil be the BB messenger.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is my first iPhone, and I don't usually make or receive a lot of calls, (I communicate much more with texts.) I received 2 calls recently and it was almost impossible to hear the other person. I tried hitting the + on the side, but it didn't seem to affect the sound volume. Is there something I am missing in the settings, or something else I am missing? I don't use any type of headset/headphones, as those are prohibited at work. I will say I have a Belkin case on the phone, so it's possible I may not have been hitting the volume controls like I thought. I just wondered if there was something I was missing elsewhere. I am hoping this is just operator error and nothing wrong with the phone.
View 12 Replies View RelatedFor the past two months after update to iOS 8 i started experiencing Blue Screen of death from time to time.I was ignoring this issue by simple restart, but from today it became unbearable.Blue screen of death appears without any reason and puts iPhone into constant reload which can take hours.Â
I decided to put it into Restore mode, but that blue screen appears even in the middle of the restore - not allowing me even to restore it (constant error 9). I googled the fix - but even though this issue is widespread - there are no known fixes which work to date. What shocks me the most is that Apple is silent about it.Â

The PC just don't recognize ANYTHING when I plug into the usb port.The computer is good, the cable is good, nokia pc suite is good. View 4 Replies View RelatedI want to use an SMTP server which is not provided by the operator (network or broadband). The only form of authentication catered for seems to be "POP before SMTP" where you have to authorise sending using the same login as you first receive with.
Settings I see are:
Incoming : there is no field for remote mailbox address - weird?
Outgoing: there IS a field for remote mailbox address - why? The username and password fields provided seem to relate to this remote mailbox address, not to the SMTP server. (Anyway, they already exist in incoming settings)
E.g. I can receive from my remote mailbox fine. That's "me@tiscali.co.uk" I can't authenticate using the "smtp.o2.co.uk" server to send using my address of "me@tiscali.co.uk" as there is nowhere to enter my o2 authentication details. (I can send unauthorised to o2 addresses)
The above example works fine in Profimail email client and with Profimail I can send emails carrying the "me@tiscali.co.uk" address with o2 authentication via the o2 SMTP server by either t-mobile network or by tiscali broadband WLAN to any of various test addresses.
I am a writer: There are about 3000 messages saved in my Nokia 2630. It seems that PC SUit or OVI can not handle or transfer this amount of messages.For example, when attempt to read messages of the phone, OVI writes: Reading failed. Fail to read message from this device.
Does anybody know a solution to this problem, besides copying by hand 3000 messages? Is there another way around?
My Xperia mini Pro tells me that a new version is available : 4.0.2.A.0.62. It tells me to connect the mobile to my PC (seven) with PC Companion. I did it, the process starts normally, download it's package from the web but on step 3 I got this message from outerspace : "Your IP address is not allowed to update/repair brown phone. Please contact to the SEMC network to update your phone"
What is this kind of message ??? What has my IP address to do with my mobile ?

I have successfully setup the scanner with both my thumbs and my right index finger. When I setup my thumbs, I just scanned my thumb over the sensor sideways (the natural position of your thumb when holding the phone one handed). Now whenever I unlock my phoneI just do a quick swipe down with my thumb and it work 90% of the time.When it doesn't work is when I am not covering the entire home button with my thumb.

Just today I purchased an iPhone 4s (32g) and was wanting to add apps. I made an account on the iTunes store, completed all that was, and at the end, it asked me to go into my email I provided them, and wait for the activation email they would send me. I've waited awhile now (Hours) and still no email. I even had them re-send the email various times, and still nothing. I'm sure I correctly filled everything out and I checked my spam folder and all that jazz.

When I try to update apps on my iPhone I am being prompted for my Apple ID password. Above the field for entering the password it is displaying my username. However - and this is where this gets a bit odd - Apple some time ago started (I believe) using email addresses instead of usernames for log-ins on the iTunes store, for Apple website log-ins etc. When I enter my password it is rejected. How do I remove the username and enter the correct combination of email address and password.
