I bought my nokia x3 02 about 3 days ago and last nihgt the touch screen becaem unresponsive, my phone went dead and then when i turned it back on the touch screen wouldnt work so i couldnt press ok to get into my phone when i put in my pin code! i dont know what to do i dont have a spare phone!
View 1 RepliesThe mobile was in my jeans when i was in class. Then i pulled it out afterwards. The touch screen wasn't working. But all the other keys are working fine. I've tried hard reseting my phone, but the thing is i've put on a lock code. So whenever i turn my cell on it asks for lock code which i can't input cause of the touch screen being down. Now i really wanna get my precious data out of the mass memory. The phone memo doesn't matter since i got backup.

So i then saw the alt+aA+del option this worked too temporarily so now i will take out the battery it will work for about five minutes and then you will not be able to use the touchscreen (everything else is fine)?

View 3 Replies View RelatedA strange thing happened. I had been coping with Nokia somehow without shifting to another phone for 5 years now. Today i updated to belle refersh, now my tocuh screen doesnt register my touch in certain areas, i cant pull down the notification bar, cant scroll vertially (horizontal scroll works with jerks), the icon i click on doesnt get selected, but one above or on the side of it gets selected...pretty strange and annoying...what i did....removed memory card, restarted, checked...same thing...clean formatted the phone (without memory card...still doesnt work).

Also, my lock button hasn't worked in a few months, so I've been using Assistive Touch to lock and power down my phone. I was hoping to try to reset my phone (home+lock) and see if that worked the screen issue, but I can't find a way to power down. Any tips? Should I restore the phone with iTunes? Or is this the end of the line for my phone?

It works for 1 or 2 minutes and then it stops working for 2 or 3 minutes, this is a loop ! if I don't use for a couple of hours it will work more, about 15 minutes and then stops working !!! whats wrong with may iphone, which part is damaged ?:(( when touch screen stops working, all keys work correctly, home key & others )

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought my Nokia X3-02 in 2011. It worked well for 11 months and in the 12th month, its touchscreen stopped working. It was under warranty so I went to Nokia service centre and they changed the Touch screen Digitizer.It worked well for few days and meanwhile its warranty expired. Now it has the same problem and the touch screen doesn't work at all. So, I put the phone back to the phone and started using my other phone.after 2-3 days, I thought that I should take the phone to the service centre, so removed the batter and inserted the SIM card. I started the phone and touch screen was working fine. I thought, I am lucky as the touch screen is working now. But after few hours probably 3-4, the touch screen stopped working again. Quite weird behaviour.So, if i put the phone to off for around 1 day and starts using it again then the touch works and after few hours it stops working again. I went to service centre again and they said, they would firstly change the touch screen ( price INR 1500) and after that they could comment on the phone's behaviour.
UPDATE: I have updated the phone firmware to latest one. Touch works even after 5 hours but not the exact point of contact.. When i try to press Menu, it always activates the Address/exit button, so the wherever you touch it activates the right side of the area.
I have a Nokia X7-00. Sometimes after receiving a call, the touch screen doesn't work at all. I can not do anything on that apart from pressing the main button. I can not even switch that off and if I plug it in to the charger, still the mobile doesn't get charged. Today something weired happened like that, and i removed the SIM still that mobile is ringing and ringing as I cant do anything on the touch screen. Another problem is that, the headset is not working anymore to listen music or to receive call through that, It happened after the Belle update.My main concern is about the Touch screen.

It is my first time to by a nokia touch screen phone and now the touch screen is not working any more. I tried to update the software to version 6.but no change. I feel robbed by nokia as I wasted my money on this phone. Now I can not unlock the phone, I have to switch off the phone and I cant type or save a number,I cant view missed calls and messages. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an X8 that was repaired a few months ago due to a cracked screen.Yesterday the touch screen stopped working, the screen still displays everything it should and the menu, camera, lock and volume buttons work fine, but touching the screen does nothing which makes doing anything with the phone impossible.I've switched it on and off many times, including holding the power button until I get 3 vibrations and no luck. I've fully charged the phone and tested it whilst it's charging.I don't think there's been any damage, but it could have taken a knock whilst being in my pocket.

Proximity sensor works and the screen fades to where my ear. I do not know how to obtain it but it is very nasty. Version of software after the update is 30.0.003 but the problem remained.

When i transfer mp3 files from my media library (on Mac) to MicroSD card (playlist directory), and try to run them using the default X3-02 Touch and Type media player, they don't work. I don't get any error, the media player just skips them. Almost all of them. Though, some of the music files (mp3) do work. I'm not sure what the problem is, and how to report this problem.

I have a Nokia X3-02. I had a problem with the camera, each time I open it it says "Operation Failed" then goes to standby mode. I tried to restore it to factory settings, didn't work. I connected it to the Ovi Suit to check for updates, is said "There are no updates" and something like "If you are experiencing problems with the current version, you can reinstall it" so I did. I followed the steps, made the backup, waited for a while, then when the reinstall process was done, the touch screen wasn't working anymore, the keypad is working fine, the volume up/down buttons are working, everything is working except the touch screen. Its not responding! I tried to reinstall again. Still the same. I tried to reinstall, without doing a backup.
