Message for NOKIA firmware developers.I bought a new NOKIA X3-02 and I noticed some missing functions :
- total call duration IN and OUT
- disable saving sent message
- delete all log call
- setting light for screen
- time to locking keyboard.
Had bought a X3-02 2 weeks ago. Did a firmware upgrade yesterday to V05.32. After the upgrade, found that the OVI and all other pre-installed NOKIA apps are missing (facebook, twitter, IM...). Could not figure out how to recover them after searching Nokia webs.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a Nokia E72 a couple of weeks back. I did like the features of the phone and I was happy with it. I have been a Nokia user from the 5100, 3300, 3315, 3350, 8250, 3100 classic, N95, E71 and now the E72. When i record a voice conversation with the phone's voice recorder, the conversation is recorded with stutters (Hi Sanjay gets recorded like Hi Jay - San is missing).When I mute myself and then record the conversation, my voice still gets recorded (never happened with my N95 or the E71).What have I done so far.
I have registered a complaint with Nokia (been around 10 days or so), and they tell me that it 'MIGHT' get sorted in the next software update.I check at a Nokia service center locally, and they updated the software, and they dont bother to even check if the issue is solved. They had my phone for 2 days.I call back Nokia and they tell me give the phone to the service center.What am I supposed to do now? Would Nokia give me a solution? I did not pay a bomb for a phone to get such pathetic software and service. Someone at Nokia please give me an answer.
This may no be possible yet from a hardware perspective but as more and more mobile devices become available it does not make sense to have seperate data plans for each and every device (I am sure the cell providers would prefer this though) Instead what is needed is a dedicated personal wifi hotspot that is built into the phone. Not one that guts the functions of the phone when activated mind you. At this juncture the only way to accomplish this is to purchase a Dedicated Personal WiFi hotspot. If this is the direction that will be forced upon us then we might as well do all communications through VOIP and by-pass the cell carrier for all but internet access.

Occasionally it wont recognize that I have pressed a button despite having pressed it several times and now it starts another function when I press a different button. E.g Maps start up when I press call cancel button. are there any reset functions/instructions to reset phone?
View 11 Replies View RelatedHaving been able to control my music via the supplied headset of my Music Express 5800 it has now stopped working. I can still hear perfectly well via it, but the volume control, stop, start of skip functions have now stopped. I'm not too sure the ability to answer the phone from it exists either. Can anyone tell me if this is due to the headset itself or if there's an option in the 5800 that I need to look at? If it's the latter I won't need to make a trip to the store.

View 8 Replies View Relatedi have recently activated the data plan on my phone, and now i am still not able to set up the connection so i can use it on the go. when i'm connected to home wi-fi i can use the browser but not other apps like windows msger, and when i'm out even though i do have a data plan on my phone i'm not able to use the browser, or anything. i can't set up email either because the error msg keeps showing up saying i don't have the right configurations/failed to connect to server.

I deleted BB maps for Google maps. did not need two. now I downloaded smart guard for the BOLD and it needs BB maps for one of the functions, so i thought why not, so went to the BB download maps link but all I get is something called a ribbon but no map? where did I go wrong? did it twice ,still shows up in apps as a ribbon.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9700 on the Bell Network and have lost all the BB functions. Phone was working fine and then I lost all ability to access email and BBM.
The email icons are there but the BBM icon vanished along with all my other app icons (NHL, Weather, ZoomPass etc.). I've also noticed that the blackberry logo that is usually beside the 3G icon in the top right is also gone. What is weird is that the phone can still make calls, text and browse. Bell data support says everything is fine on there end. I've wiped the unit via JL_Cmder and reinstalled the latest OS 5.0.0.545 and still not working.
Have MTS SIM. Have BBerry & Data Plan. Have Voice Plan. Phone is Unlocked and used the TCP/IP settings posted online: internet.mts.ru UN:mts PW:mts
I'm receiving all signals 3G, EDGE,edge, etc but it will not receive or send emails? on the Service Status it just reads Blackberry Internet Service and BES "Not Connected" How do I fix this and start getting my emails as I have used a few other unlocked BBerry's b4 (Curve, Old School side wheel etc) and never had email/bberry problems.
When opening emails I have no menu functions, when pressed the menu button returns me to home Page. All other menu functions seem to work OK

I've tried restarting and removing battery, sim card and sd card several times but to no avail. I cannot even turn it off since the off button is also touch key. View 1 Replies View RelatedNo matter what I do the WiFi on my Samsung Galaxy S6 does not work with certain apps and processes. It seems to be connected with Google- such as, pictures on the Play Store will not load, YouTube videos constantly are loading but never play and certain games think I am not connected to the internet at all. Things like web browsing and google search work fine however, but streaming is incredibly slow. This ONLY happens with my AT&T WiFi at home- WiFi in other locations works just fine. My WiFi signal is full strength at home. I constantly have to use my data services (T-Mobile) and everything works great then.
Here is what I already tried:
1. Changing my DNS settings to Google Server
2. Clear app data and caches
3. Uninstalling and reinstalling the apps
4. Complete factory reset of the device (and lost all my games from a corrupt backup file, with nothing working still)
When I was resetting my device, I knew the WiFi still wasn't working because when it tried to connect to my google account only and not my Samsung account (again- google seems to be where the problem happens) it was stuck at "getting info". But when I switched to data it worked.
I have lost functionality of the native app that came with my Galaxy S5. Have tried thr GO and Weather Channel apps and theu both failed. Lollipop sucks, no doubt, but the must be a weather app that works with it on the S5.

I heard that, from Korea Galaxy S has been firmware upgraded and working better. And also motion sensor? that response is slow too. When I'm on the phone and I take the phone away from my ear than it should light up the screen but, now response is very slow.
