I'm travelling with my Bold 9780, and for some reason I can neither send BBMs or emails. All other functions are fine, including receiving texts and emails. My Carier is Vodafone UK and I'm roaming on AT&T in the US. I this a problem with my Vodafone carrier, or is it to do with my roaming facilities?

I don't know if this is possible or not so I thought I would ask here, is it possible to alter the way the menu functions in the blackberry curve? in example, what I want to do is like when I send a sms text message and when I hit the trackball and the menu options come up, the send button is highlighted, and what I would like do is modify it so that the check spelling is highlighted first and then send button is right below it, is it possible to do this or is this an internal Blackberry Software modification?

I have been a Nokia user from the 5100, 3300, 3315, 3350, 8250, 3100 classic, N95, E71 and now the E72. When i record a voice conversation with the phone's voice recorder, the conversation is recorded with stutters (Hi Sanjay gets recorded like Hi Jay - San is missing).When I mute myself and then record the conversation, my voice still gets recorded (never happened with my N95 or the E71).What have I done so far.
I have registered a complaint with Nokia (been around 10 days or so), and they tell me that it 'MIGHT' get sorted in the next software update.I check at a Nokia service center locally, and they updated the software, and they dont bother to even check if the issue is solved. They had my phone for 2 days.I call back Nokia and they tell me give the phone to the service center.What am I supposed to do now? Would Nokia give me a solution? I did not pay a bomb for a phone to get such pathetic software and service. Someone at Nokia please give me an answer.
All of a sudden, all the touch functions of my xperia x8 went haywire. Now I cannot use it since it only has touch capabilities. I've tried restarting and removing battery, sim card and sd card several times but to no avail. I cannot even turn it off since the off button is also touch key. I have to remove the casing and battery every time I attempt to restart.
View 1 Replies View RelatedNo matter what I do the WiFi on my Samsung Galaxy S6 does not work with certain apps and processes. It seems to be connected with Google- such as, pictures on the Play Store will not load, YouTube videos constantly are loading but never play and certain games think I am not connected to the internet at all. Things like web browsing and google search work fine however, but streaming is incredibly slow. This ONLY happens with my AT&T WiFi at home- WiFi in other locations works just fine. My WiFi signal is full strength at home. I constantly have to use my data services (T-Mobile) and everything works great then.
Here is what I already tried:
1. Changing my DNS settings to Google Server
2. Clear app data and caches
3. Uninstalling and reinstalling the apps
4. Complete factory reset of the device (and lost all my games from a corrupt backup file, with nothing working still)
When I was resetting my device, I knew the WiFi still wasn't working because when it tried to connect to my google account only and not my Samsung account (again- google seems to be where the problem happens) it was stuck at "getting info". But when I switched to data it worked.
I was traveling in Germany and Italy, and I made sure to set "Data Services While Roaming" to "Off." However, I still did incur data roaming charges. They are really small-- like 15KB/day, but it's nonetheless annoying that my Blackberry Bold 9700 is using data even though I turned it off. I use AT&T. Does anyone know why?
View 4 Replies View RelatedAll audio on my Bold 9650 has suddenly stopped functioning - no ring tones, alerts, speakerphone, music or voice recordings can be heard. The phone is not muted and the volume is turned up. Hard reset and soft reset have not fixed it. Software was upgraded to 5.0.0.1006 after problem started and did not resolve it. Device self test performed and verified that no audio functions were working. Also, there's an icon that I don't remember seeing before showing below my EDGE indicator. It is a white circle with a cross through it, like the sight symbol when you are focusing a gun or camera. I can't find the icon on any icon list to indicate what it means.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy 9810 is acting up. None of the keys are working, even the 5 below the screen. Sometimes the track pad works but not when it is pressed, and when the back botton works it puts me into sreach mode and looks for the letter "H" only. The touch screen is fine. This was before upgrading to OS7.1. I have done multiple hard resets and it does nothing at all. This has been going on for three days now. It hasn't be dropped or anything.
Last night I upgraded to OS 7.1 now my back ground does not rotate properly with how the phone is being held it does rotate, When you hold it upright it thinks its on it's side and vise versa.
I have a Bold 9780, my screen turned white suddenly. Phone was kept on the table and it automatically turned white. The other functions are working fine as in incoming calls and messages, but the whole screen is white.

I have an iPhone 4S with iOS 5.1.1 I ALWAYS have data roaming turned off as I travel a reasonable amount and don't want the charges. All automatic downloads are also turned off. On a recent holiday to France the phone the phone decided randomly to download my emails at 3pm one Friday afternoon (after we'd been there for almost a week) - this totalled around 3MB and cost me around £10.00 This was the only time the phone did any downloads (it was in my pocket not being used at the time) - so it appears as if randomly for around 10 minutes one wet Friday afternoon the phone decided to ignore the data roaming switch and download my emails (and apparently nothing else). I have read some real horror stories online about this kind of thing but nothing where it just pops on and off.As I travel a reasonable amount I can't afford for this to keep happening.

My Bold 9700 has suddenly developed a glitch and being a newbie,When holding the Alt or Shift keys, no other keys work i.e. Holding Alt + R does not give 3 as expected . If I press Alt or Shift, release and then press the desired key (for numbers/symbols), then it works fine. This has not been a problem since I got my 9700 in February and holding down Alt/Shift has worked since day 1.
I am running OS v5.0.0.421 I have tried several battery pulls to no effect.I am guessing that I should back up my data, wipe the device and clean install the current OS.
Physical keyboard lights are not working when display is fully up. Keyboard lights work only when display is halfway up. Lights go off just a millimeter before when display reach it top position.Can anyone suggest is this a software issue or there is something physically wrong with phone (slider-switch is slightly misplaced or broken)?

I haven't received any e-mails from any of my accounts on my new phone, so I went into settings- e-mail accounts to update my settings. When asked to login with my BB ID, it does not recognize my ID (I get the message "The user name is invalid. A user name must be at least 4 characters). I have confirmed that my username IS valid as it works on my PC and for appworld and I have verified that it is being entered.

BB services are not working, tried absolutely everything (pulling battery, wiping, new OS, got help from network provider as well) and it seems my BlackBerry is broken. Do they do that at all? I don't really want to spend money on a new phone right now, especially when my BB is working - calls, texts, even internet, just nothing that requires connection to BB (BB icon doesn't appear) or wireless (I'm not too sure but I think that bluetooth and wifi are not working either).

Sometimes I will send a message and it will work fine then the next minute it won't work at all. Other times it will send a message but will only have a check mark and no letter "D" saying it was delivered, yet people are still getting my messages at times. Other times it is just down for one contact but their bbm works with everyone else. It is very frustrating to just have it stop working every 5 minutes.

I updated to OS 7,1 yesterday, and since then, I 'm not able to use BBm nor emails functions anymore.Only Whats app is working properly. The pictures display has also changed and is much less practical than it used to be.
I've tried to restaure, to go back to my previous software, to boot and reboot many times...

Since two days I have the problem that, when I'm on Wifi, it does not work any connection (not even the Browser); on the mobile network everything works fine. See, when I just click a button to resume it from standby and try to scroll anlong the bottom menu on the screen using the touch pad sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. But also when I click the tlouch pad nothing happens, so I can't go into anything, like my messafges. It only works sometimes when I press the menu button again. I'm still recieving messages, though, but I can't get to them, obviously. Please help me! I've only had my BlackBerry a few weeks and really can't do without a phone coming up to summer and can't afford a new one on such short notice!
