May 20, 2010Curve 8900 (TIM) OS: 5.0.0.461.Yesterday I connected my device to the computer and upgraded the software to version 5.0.0.461 via Blackberry desktop manager. I can't remember witch OS version the device had before.
After the update, i'm having two problems:
1.- When connected to my Dell BH200 bluetooth headset it no longer recognizes the A/V Remote control functions. With the previous software version, when the headset connected, it recognized: Handsfree, Stereo audio and A/V Remote control (witch allowed me to change songs and pause/resume play using the headset buttons). With the new version, it only recognizes the first two (even though in the device properties screen appear as services: Handsfree, Headset, A/V Remote control and Audio sink) . I use my device to listen to music, so having to take it out everytime i want to change a song instead of just using the headset buttons bugs me. Trying to solve this problem, i have deleted the headset from my bluetooth device list, and then paired it again (several times). I have also reseted the headset, and the device but nothing works. Any ideas on how i can get the device to recognize A/V Remote control functions again?
2.- After the upgrade, the block screen button on top of the device no longer works. Also, putting the device into the holster no longer blocks the device. Is this function disabled in new version?

Mar 15, 2012When I doube tap the home button to use the camera from the home screen, it sort of 'hops' up about 1/2 a cm, but then bounces back down without opening the camera app, this is only since the upgrade to 5.1. I tried a hard reset, but no joy (and no shortcut to the camera either!!)

Mar 13, 2012When I double tap the home key, then touch the camera access icon, the screen jumps up a little, revealing about half of the camera shutter icon then closes back up on itself.
I just updated to 5.1 and this is a feature I used to use on 5.0.1 often. Seems like it is broken...not happy.

Jun 27, 2010Just a few days ago, for some reason my iPhone 3GS stopped saving the pictures and vids that I take in Camera Roll.The most recent photo in my Camera Roll is from 4 days ago. I did not upgrade my OS/firmware.I read somewhere that it might be saving it to the root directory. If that's the case, how do I access it? And how do I change where the pics are being saved to back to what it should be?I'm guessing there's an app that allows you to look at your files on your iPhone as if you were looking at it like a hard drive, but I'm not sure which one is the best nor do I know its capabilities.Suggestions?

It desn't matter whether or not I had just been using the phone and don't need the password or not. It also doesn't matter whether or not I single-click or double-click it. I get the same result.

Apr 12, 2012Shortly after I upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1, the camera shortcut on my home screen stopped working. The camera icon appears even if I single click the home button, but whether I single click or double click the home button, touching the camera icon simply makes the screen bounce in rejection.
I have removed the passcode on my phone only to get the same effect.

Aug 22, 2012I have found that whenever I try to take a picture, it looks like it worked, but then I click on the image that appears in the corner and it shows the last picture that I took before this one (from over a month ago). The picture never actually saves.
I have tried turning it off, removing the battery, then turning it back on. I have tried deleting old pictures to clear up space (the phone says that I have over 5GB of space). I have tried giving the camera extra time before trying to view the picture.

Jan 22, 2016I used to to be able to double tap to open camera and now it doesn't do anything at all. My power button to lock option in security is off. I'm on stock with elemental x kernel, with xposed. Idk if I accidentally enabled an option or disabled something in ex elemental kernel manager or limited a service in amplify that I shouldn't have.
And yes the double tap for camera is enabled in my settings and I cleared defaults too for the stock camera but nothing....

Aug 4, 2014Just updated my phone to 5.1, when pressing the shutter button for quick way to take pictures, it now takes 30seconds for camera to come on screen then flickers and won't take a picture. The only way to view it now is by checking it in the gallery. It was handy to preview the photo to check whether I needed to re-shoot it due to blurriness, blinking etc..

Apr 24, 2011The camera on my Droid 2 doesn't autofocus anymore. For the first couple months, I was taking crystal clear pictures without any problems, then one day the camera refused to autofocus and now all my pictures turn out blurry. I can say without a doubt that the lens does not need cleaning because if I take an extreme closeup (just a few inches from the subject) the pictures are clear. Any further than a few inches, the pics come out blurry. Holding the shutter button down a little only causes a red box to come up, not green. Using the touch screen shutter button doesn't make a difference. I tried factory resetting my phone and this didn't solve the issue.

Apr 17, 2012Recently, I have been very irritated with my iphone's music playback because the volume is inconsistent. For almost every song, as it starts playing it will start at a normal volume then decrease suddenly to a common level. It sounds like the volume difference created by sound check. Besides this, doing things such as skipping, turning shuffle on/off, turning repeat on/off, and other minor things will change the volume. the most notable is skipping, which reverts the volume back to the loud version (as if sound check was off), while turning shuffle and repeat on/off only changes the volume slightly (barely noticeable unless playing at a loud volume). I have tried to ignore it for all this time. it would be nice if apple had a simple email contact option to ask questions as well, but apparently they either don't or it is impossible to find, and that ****** me off even more.
