I want to know the some functions of the Media-scape. In music there has Audio books. What's that? How can I put the audio books. I means which format take for this audio books.

how to get videos to load into mediascape and I have tried multiple different ways. I have copied files directly and I have used Media Go. I have converted the files to mpeg4 with many different conversion programs and I still cant get any videos to show up. Is this a known issue? Is there some kind of setting that I'm missing? I've tried to transfer files from my old phone tthat were in 3GPP format and I converted that. Also I have tried other video files that were not on my old phone and I have had no luck.

View 4 Replies View RelatedFor some time ago I updated my X10 to Android 2.1 and today (a week later) I noticeed all the sudden that Mediascape has linked alot of my pictures stored in my phone to some of my Facebook contacts automatically. Of course Mediascape got it all wrong, linking my children to old friends I haven't met in several years etc.
1. First - how do I disable Face recognition service entirely. I find this very unuseful since I have found it not that good at identifying persons even when trying to learn.
2. How come that Mediascape did this automatic link between my Facebook contact and my pictures?
3. Is there a way to clear this linking data that Mediascap does. It's pretty time consuming to have to go through all Facebook friends and select the image and Delete the link between the photo and the friend.
I guess Mediascape must have downloaded images from my frieds facebook galleries and analyzed them somehow. However this isn't something I want my phone to spend time doing. The battery time of my X10 is poor already, it doesn't need to do image processing - at least I should have the option to turn this off?Overall I find Mediascape pertty crappy. Mostly because it's performance. I guess the ideas behind it is good, but the implementation isn't near good enough.For example, slow browsing between images. Compare with iPhone, Samsung galaxy, HTC phones, older SonyEricsson phones such as W715 or C905. All these perform much better. Is there a way to remove this or use another media viewer?

I've tried restarting and removing battery, sim card and sd card several times but to no avail. I cannot even turn it off since the off button is also touch key. I have to remove the casing and battery every time I attempt to restart.

Message for NOKIA firmware developers.I bought a new NOKIA X3-02 and I noticed some missing functions :
- total call duration IN and OUT
- disable saving sent message
- delete all log call
- setting light for screen
- time to locking keyboard.
I deleted BB maps for Google maps. did not need two. now I downloaded smart guard for the BOLD and it needs BB maps for one of the functions, so i thought why not, so went to the BB download maps link but all I get is something called a ribbon but no map? where did I go wrong? did it twice ,still shows up in apps as a ribbon.

I connect my phone to the computer, and my phone shows up as a F: drive device. I am used to iTunes and there being a Sync button.

I have been a Nokia user from the 5100, 3300, 3315, 3350, 8250, 3100 classic, N95, E71 and now the E72. When i record a voice conversation with the phone's voice recorder, the conversation is recorded with stutters (Hi Sanjay gets recorded like Hi Jay - San is missing).When I mute myself and then record the conversation, my voice still gets recorded (never happened with my N95 or the E71).What have I done so far.
I have registered a complaint with Nokia (been around 10 days or so), and they tell me that it 'MIGHT' get sorted in the next software update.I check at a Nokia service center locally, and they updated the software, and they dont bother to even check if the issue is solved. They had my phone for 2 days.I call back Nokia and they tell me give the phone to the service center.What am I supposed to do now? Would Nokia give me a solution? I did not pay a bomb for a phone to get such pathetic software and service. Someone at Nokia please give me an answer.
This may no be possible yet from a hardware perspective but as more and more mobile devices become available it does not make sense to have seperate data plans for each and every device (I am sure the cell providers would prefer this though) Instead what is needed is a dedicated personal wifi hotspot that is built into the phone. Not one that guts the functions of the phone when activated mind you. At this juncture the only way to accomplish this is to purchase a Dedicated Personal WiFi hotspot. If this is the direction that will be forced upon us then we might as well do all communications through VOIP and by-pass the cell carrier for all but internet access.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9700 on the Bell Network and have lost all the BB functions. Phone was working fine and then I lost all ability to access email and BBM.
The email icons are there but the BBM icon vanished along with all my other app icons (NHL, Weather, ZoomPass etc.). I've also noticed that the blackberry logo that is usually beside the 3G icon in the top right is also gone. What is weird is that the phone can still make calls, text and browse. Bell data support says everything is fine on there end. I've wiped the unit via JL_Cmder and reinstalled the latest OS 5.0.0.545 and still not working.
