Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Limited Functions When Access Gmail Using Preinstalled App?
Dec 31, 2010
When I access Gmail using the preinstalled app key it only gives me limited functions. The screen only shows my inbox and the messages in it so I can only reply or forward sent messages. I cannot start a new message or access any other functions that are available to me if I access Gmail through the browser key.Has anyone else had this problem?
WP10, Bld. 10586, Lumia 950...Just added a (128 Gb) SD Card. Thought I would give myself a ton of storage. So made the card the location to store camera pictures. Immediately noticed
1. Can not make pics on card a Favorite 2. Camera Roll does not sync to OneDrive from the card.
I cannot access 'App Marketplace' from my X10 Mini Pro - everytime I try it asks me to set up a Gmail account which I have ... so I sign in ... and then it comes up with this message:" This could be a temporary problem or your phone may not be provisioned for data services. If it continues, call Customer Care."
I dont remember my gmail password for the account i created for Android. I tried to reset the password on Google.com but they are saying they cannot confirm that its my address...
Is there anyway I can change the log in address which my phone asks for when i attempt to log into adroid? I tried going to into all the settings I could get into on my phone to try and find something But im having no luck.
After updating my phone to android 2.1,I'm unable to access my gmail and other apps thru. wifi. I have the wifi symbol at the top which clearly shows that the wifi is connected, but when I try to access gmail, android market and other apps.,it gives me message stating "no network connection".
have had my x10 fro 3 days. love most everything...except that most of my hotmail access is limited. what happened? no folders or contacts available. tried tech support, but they were of no help. said i needed to use gmail instead. can't change everything over at this late date.have archived stuff in hotmail going back years. did i load hotmail to the x10 incorrectly?
Is there any way to remove preinstalled apps? I have several that came with the phone.e.g.the sims demo, uno trial, and so on. The thing is i can't remove them from the phone.Apps that i've installed myself are no problem at all to remove but these that came with the.phone just won't be deleted. If i can't delete them can i just hide the icons somehow? thay just take up space in the phone.and i won't ever use them.
I bought my Xperia mini pro in order to eae my work, however i often encounter with DELAYS when taking calls or send messages or open applications etc etc etc... and on top of this the phone often get re starts or turned off. one of the major thing i suspect is that when i download applications from the anderoid market the phone internal memory is getting used for this. Hence can you please tell me when i download the applications from anderoid market as well download any files in order to utiliza the Memory Card and not to utilize phone internal memory ( which is currently happening ) what should i do ?? please let me know the sSTEPS TO FOLLOW. or any alternative to avoid these delays.
When I connect my bluetooth headset and try a google command such as "navigate to Staples, Hudson NY" I get a message via the headset stating that I have limited network access and can only use the calling feature. However If I am connected via my wifi it performs that command without any problem as well as any other such a text so and so.
If I turn the headset off and turn off the wifi connection and speak the navigate command directly to the phone it will do so without any problem.
I am at a loss as to why the google commands only work if I'm connected to my wifi while using my headset?
1. Does this new phone have the ability to sync with a bluetooth enabled laptop in order to transfer contact lists? 2. Also, Can photos be downloaded from the phone to the computer? and can photos from the computer be uploaded to the camera? 3. Is web access limited to certain sites? Can email be retrieved on this phone?
I wonder why RIM doesn't just release devices with Opera Mini preinstalled. IMO, Opera blows every other mobile browsing experience out of the water, regardless of device or brand. What are your thoughts and if you choose to stick with the RIM browser despite admitting its limitations, then why?
I Bought a phone X10 with 2.1 update and i updated it to 2.3.3 Gingerbread and now the problem is i cant access gmail accounts(including Android market) .how to uninstall all gmail related apps n install it again..(i checked in manage applications ..but i dont find option to unistall ..).
I have logged in Gmail in my phone when I bought it. Since then it is logged in. It is like my gmail can be accessed by anyone who has my mobile and mails downloaded can be viewed/opened offline. But I do not know "how to logout from my gmail account".
When I tap the gmail icon in my x10 mini pro phone menu I can see all the mails in my account although I am not connected internet. Can I restrict this? imean whenever i tap gmail it will require username and password irrespective of being online or offline so that my mail account is protected.
I was trying to add my second gmail account to my xperia mini pro. It is running on 2.1 version .As per the instructions in website I tried to add second account from accounts and setting page, after Keying in login name and password , it says it will take 5 minutes but after 2 minutes returns error "can't esablish reliable data connection to server" . My data connection is fine and other apps are able to connect to internet through wi-fi or EDGE without any issue. I tried to write to get in touch with customer care through mail, but unfortunatley no response from them other than auto reply.
I've been trying to log into the Android Market through my WIFI and cannot log into my gmail account. Tried everything from factory reset to keeping autosync on.
Last week I purchased Xperia mini.yesterday logged in to gmail. But after that i am unable to logout from Gmail/gtalk (any app of google). I didn't want to do the Factory Reset.
I changed my gmail account. How can I delete the old gmail account from my Xperia Mini Pro and substitute it for another primary gmail account without deleting all the configs, apps in my Xperia Mini Pro? Everytime I try this, Android will tell me I cannot do it because this is the primary account.
I use a Xperia Mini Pro (SK17i). For the past one week whenever Gmail app is opened it shows 'Waiting for sync' and after 30 seconds or so the app closes with the message ' Unfortunately - Gmail has stopped'. I did the settings reset, factory reset and reinstalled the o/s.
any way we can copy "gmail contacts" to "phone contact"??Is it useful to copy contacts to phone or can we keep on using the gmail contact and keep the phone contacts empty?
I am having real trouble syncing my phone to either Google or Sony ericsson. I would really want to because i would like to download some of my personal messages onto my email address so i can eventually put them onto a disc.
I am unable to update Applications or preview attachments in gmail over the mobile network. However, the same is working on the wireless network.I have probably reset my phone to factory settings/repaired the installation atleast 3 times in the past for other problems such as missing entries in call logs, slow response, etc. I am on Anrdroid 2.1 Random reboots happen almost thrice a week and phone response is very slow. I think I should go back to my blackberry.
Very recently I cleared all my contacts, then sync my contacts with my gmail account. The problem is that it is adding on to my internal memory, why is this happening when I have sync my contacts with gmail. I do not have any contact on my phone. If I can find a solution for this, it will save 7.5mb of my space, where in I can accommodate something useful.
I bought My Xperia Mini St15i from Bangladesh 2 days ago....I connected it to internet yesterday,Used the net for 2-3 hours, then all of a sudden the "E" sign(EDGE) in the status bar disappeared and I cant access the internet eversince.......These are the steps that I ve taken so far-1.Used my SIM in another phone...The SIM is fine2.Used another SIM(of another operator) in my phone...No result3.Hav checked a thousand times for the points that has been stated by the sony ericsson internet access trouble shooting page here-ttp://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/mobilephones/troubleshooting/subject/unabletoconnecttointernetoraccesstointernetbasedservices/xperia-mini?cc=us&lc=en4.Hav updated the latest phone software5.Have configured my internet settings couple of times6.Have resetted my phone to factory settings twice.......7.Someone said something in the forum about Mcaffe interrupting the internet,so I uninstalled it.
Still no result.....,my friend has an HTC and there is a single option that instantly connects the phone to the internet in the "wireless & Network" settings,I have seen a similar option in some other HTC phones but although everything else is similar,my phone does not have this"Connect to the internet" option in the "Wireless & network" settings...
Somehow i'm not able to access my settings anymore. It gives the following error code (translated from dutch) 'The application 'Settings' (proces com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again'.I haven't downloaded any new apps recently, no new SIM or SD. I've already tried removing battery, SIM card etc. and putting them back in.
