I changed my gmail account. How can I delete the old gmail account from my Xperia Mini Pro and substitute it for another primary gmail account without deleting all the configs, apps in my Xperia Mini Pro? Everytime I try this, Android will tell me I cannot do it because this is the primary account.

It is running on 2.1 version .As per the instructions in website I tried to add second account from accounts and setting page, after Keying in login name and password , it says it will take 5 minutes but after 2 minutes returns error "can't esablish reliable data connection to server" . My data connection is fine and other apps are able to connect to internet through wi-fi or EDGE without any issue. I tried to write to get in touch with customer care through mail, but unfortunatley no response from them other than auto reply.

Very recently I cleared all my contacts, then sync my contacts with my gmail account. The problem is that it is adding on to my internal memory, why is this happening when I have sync my contacts with gmail. I do not have any contact on my phone. If I can find a solution for this, it will save 7.5mb of my space, where in I can accommodate something useful.

I'm a recent returnee to the Blackberry world, and I use a Gmail address as my primary address. I've noticed something, and this issue has been discussed in other posts, but not rectified to my satisfaction. If I delete an email on my BB, it does not delete on my Gmail account on a desktop or laptop. This can be incredibly frustrating. I tried using the Gmail mobile BB app, but it doesn't display HTML email, and my BB is used mostly for personal not for business. Maintaining an orderly email account is proving extremely difficult. I've had the DELETE ON: MAILBOX AND HANDHELD set both ways, and i've had the sync option on the MANAGE EMAIL ACCOUNTS submenu checked and unchecked, and it doesn't work any way i can set it.
It's a BB Bold 9700 on T-Mobile in the US.
New private 9300 and updated to OS6. Using Gmail and 3 emails received today won't delete. Not saved. Tried reboot and battery out.

It is somehow stuck in a reset loop, it starts in safe mode, is locked and won't allow me to press any buttons at all. Once it is turned on i have to remove the battery to turn it off. My warranty has run out for this phone now but I do like it and don't currently have the money to get a new one really.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had my un-locked S2 for over a year now and due to inactivity on the registered gmail account I am no longer able to use my phone for navigation or anything else that looks for me to be logged into my gmail account before proceeding.
I've searched for any answer that would avoid the "recommended" restore to factory defaults (which deletes all my apps, photos, etc). I found one reasonable "work around" which required running the root explorer APK, which I installed and ran only to get the message "application closed unexpectedly". Perhaps my phone has to be "rooted" to use this apk or it is simply corrupted.
Can anyone recommend a way to save all my data but change the "primary gmail" account? I could root the phone, if necessary but would like ideas before going that far afield.
Maybe this is in the VZW Tour 5.0 software thread or something, but after completing the software upgrade, when I receive emails through my Gmail account and decide to delete an email, I am no longer getting the option to delete from the mailbox, the device, or both, although the option is set uo from this particular email account. I'm not having any problems with the Yahoo email account. I've removed the email and readded it on the phone as well as on the Blackberry Internet Server website.

I can turn auto-sync or the data off to make it stop, but once turned back out it starts up again. I have deleted most of my newer mail in case there was something bad included with the mail.
