Xperia Z2 :: Account Information Keeps Disappearing
May 10, 2012The Facebook, and Xperia with Facebook, account information keeps disappearing on my Z2 (in Settings -> Accounts)When I then recreate the account, it works for a couple of days, or hours, and then all of a sudden the accounts are gone again.The result is: no FB notifications, no FB calender sync and I have to sign in again when I open the main FB app.

Sep 16, 2010For the past two or three day my X10a (2.1) had continually been trying to sync to my Gmail account. I can turn auto-sync or the data off to make it stop, but once turned back out it starts up again. I have deleted most of my newer mail in case there was something bad included with the mail. Not sure what my next step would be. With the phone trying to sync all the time make it slow to respond to commands.

Dec 6, 2010Ive recently updated my phone to android 2.1 and now i cant get onto market because it needs me to register a google account. I tried to register one and but i keep getting an error message saying that the server are busy and that i should try again later.... Ive tried who knows how many times and still no luck... I have even tried connecting to my Wi - Fi and still nothing.

Aug 18, 2010I was trying to add my second gmail account to my xperia mini pro. It is running on 2.1 version .As per the instructions in website I tried to add second account from accounts and setting page, after Keying in login name and password , it says it will take 5 minutes but after 2 minutes returns error "can't esablish reliable data connection to server" . My data connection is fine and other apps are able to connect to internet through wi-fi or EDGE without any issue. I tried to write to get in touch with customer care through mail, but unfortunatley no response from them other than auto reply.

Oct 28, 2011My Photon 4 G does not sync calendar, contact, Gmail with my company Gmail account. I believe that it just stopped syncing last week and I believe that it was following a Motorola update, but cannot say for sure. Under Data Delivery, both Background Data and Data enabled are checked green. However, this is interesting because Email and corporate sync is grayed out on that screen. When I go to Account, checking the sync options is not possible, but I can do a manual sync. Please note, at one time, these options to sync Contacts, Gmail and Calendar were available. I've pulled the batter. I really do not want to reset to factory default. Suggestions? (Please note this is a company Gmail account, not just regular Gmail.)

Feb 2, 2010I don't know if my thread title makes sense but basically what I would like to know is what are the advantages of downloading the Gmail app vs just setting up a Gmail account through my BIS (Email Settings/Add Account)? My main objective here is wireless contacts sync. I have read a lot of negative feedback regarding Gmail on a BlackBerry but I will not really even be using this for email all to often, although I will from time to time.
What I have done is just added my new Gmail account through the native BlackBerry email setup and then downloaded Google Sync. I downloaded the Gmail app but I didn't really like the UI and I like to have all 3 of my email accounts go into the same folder.

Aug 12, 2010Ok, my wife just switched from VZ and was on an Android based phone, but she no longer needs her GMail Contacts but we want to move them and her Calendar to the iPhone and start Syncing her MobileMe, how can we do this.Everytime I think it is done and remove her GMail account from her phone her contacts go puff. I am very familiar with the iPhone and MacBook, however not so much with the Android and GMail settings.
