I have been trying to find an option to delete my mailbox but I can't seem to find it. Been looking around and people have been saying go to essages>Options>Settings>Email>Mailboxes, but when I do not have the "Email" option. The reason why I want to delete my account is because for some reason I have not been receiving emails on my phone anymore, even when I sync it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI already have 2 email accounts set up on my E72 (I use the business mode). I successfully added a 3rd email account and am able to send/receive email on this account. Unfortunately, I do not get notified of new mail for the 3rd account.
From reading other posts, it seems messaging only notifies of incoming email for the first 2 accounts? Is this correct? Is there no way I can receive notification for my 3rd account as well? Is there no way I can add it to the home screen so I can see all 3 email accounts instead of 2 (I would like to remove, for example, the search option on the home screen and replace it with my 3rd email account)

View 4 Replies View RelatedI work in education, and we have about 60 Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phones that we use with kids. We don't have SIM cards or any kind of mobile plan with the phones -- we use them just for Internet browsing, videos, photos, etc.
I'm wondering if it's possible to e-mail photos directly from these phones. If so, how would we do this?
(I tried accessing Yahoo! and gmail accounts via the Web browser, but the mobile versions of these sites don't have attachment options. I also tried setting up the gmail account under the phone's messaging options, as is explained here, however it wouldn't let me set up my account because there was no network connection.)
My new E72 doesn't synchronize automatically with mail account, I put 10 min in automatic, but don't work. If I say to phone manualy sincronizar, yes have emails. Why?

I notice that every 2 or 3 days, the widget does not launch the mail app anymore when I tap it. View 1 Replies View Relatedthe problem i am posting here relates to ovi mail software..roblems being faced..1. you can not attach files more than a total of 2048 kb and neither can you download2. whenever you try to download any attachment you get a notification "UNABLE TO PERFORM OPERATION".3. when checking mails that have images attached to it and are meant to be automatically downloaded, the device shows the status of image being downloaded and the status constantly remains idle at 0% and after a few seconds the same notification as you get in the problem no. 2. is displayedits highly dissapointing on the part of nokia, that after a peson who has spent a sum of INR 23,000 is getting such softwares and i really dont think a customer is expecting such softwares/performance after spending INR 23,000 onto just a PHONE.I really dont know whether the customer who have purchased N 8 are aware of this issue persisting in their phones or probably i should say they dont explore thier devices well enogh.I never expected that i will be so dissapointed after spending so much of money onto a phone that does not facilitate me even with the basic functions.And lastly one thing that is relly notable is that the phones from nokia itself which cost between INR 10000-15000 does not have such restrictions for mail.

View 7 Replies View RelatedAll of a sudden, my Alias mail account name is telling me that the password or account name is incorrect.So I go into SETTINGS as the button appears for it, and I hit it check all the settings and the settings are fine, nothing has changed. I have not had this problem in over 5 years! Is this a symptom of iCloud going full, taking over MobileMe? I cancelled my MM account 3 months back and have not had any problems. Why has this problems suddenly started appearing? I was looking at the mail in the ALIAS account from the alias account. Now I am looking at it through my main account, which is also reacting slowly due to this problem.

While experimenting with adding accounts, I inadvertantly added two ovi.com accounts to the preinstalled "Messaging" application. One is listed as ovi.com and the other is listed as ovi.com01. There seems to be no way to delete or undo those accounts on the phone. At the very least, I wish to delete the ovi.com01. Does anyone have any suggestions that don't include reformatting the phone? I really don't have the time or patience for that. I've already put way too much time in removing AT&T crapware and rearranging program folders/icons.

I know this because I was able to use another (old) Hotmail account on the device but when I try and set up my current Hotmail account I get problems.

This is really bothering me.I have a yahoo mail account set up on my phone - It has been on there for over a year - it has always worked this way - If I get an email (the phone goes "bing") and i read it on the computer - and responded and delete it on the computer it would be removed from the phone the next time i looked. Recently I began noticing that the message is not being delated from the phone if I delete it from the mailbox, and I can't figure out why.
Basically I want to be able to read the message on the computer and hit delete and for it do the same thing on my blackberry and vise versa. Now it seems to work if I delete the message on the BB then it will not be in the Mailbox on the computer.
I am the acquisition of mini n97 and I want to put my contact I created with my mobile phone in the contact of live mail but I do not know how else to rewrite the hand one by one.

Even though I've seen information about how to get Mail working with AOL, I'm still being challenged to find the correct info to insert into the fields as enumerated by Exchange Activesync on the 808.what to enter for all the fields as named in Exchnage Activesync, such as "server" and "domain name" and port number. This gets really confusing: Is the domain name an incomingt server or outgoing server, or something else entirely? Is the "Server" field for incoming or outgoing server? Is the "Port number" in advanced settings for the incoming or outgoing port?

But now I just get a notification saying "Service unavailable at the moment. Please try again later" (my translation from Swedish) when I try to set up the Hotmail-account.
