After the latest update of firmware (v21) I have not been able to set up a e-mail account on my N97. When trying I get to the step asking about allowing access to the network in order to receive/send data. When accepting the "set up-guide" closes down. Asking the question here before resetting the entire phone...
I already have 2 email accounts set up on my E72 (I use the business mode). I successfully added a 3rd email account and am able to send/receive email on this account. Unfortunately, I do not get notified of new mail for the 3rd account.
From reading other posts, it seems messaging only notifies of incoming email for the first 2 accounts? Is this correct? Is there no way I can receive notification for my 3rd account as well? Is there no way I can add it to the home screen so I can see all 3 email accounts instead of 2 (I would like to remove, for example, the search option on the home screen and replace it with my 3rd email account)
I work in education, and we have about 60 Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phones that we use with kids. We don't have SIM cards or any kind of mobile plan with the phones -- we use them just for Internet browsing, videos, photos, etc.
I'm wondering if it's possible to e-mail photos directly from these phones. If so, how would we do this?
(I tried accessing Yahoo! and gmail accounts via the Web browser, but the mobile versions of these sites don't have attachment options. I also tried setting up the gmail account under the phone's messaging options, as is explained here, however it wouldn't let me set up my account because there was no network connection.)
My new E72 doesn't synchronize automatically with mail account, I put 10 min in automatic, but don't work. If I say to phone manualy sincronizar, yes have emails. Why?
I tried to send an e-mail and gives me this: Subject: Delivery Status Notification (Failure) From:Mail Delivery Subsystem <noreply@noreply> To: "dilixxx.xxxai at yahoo.com" <dilixxx.xxxai at yahoo.com>
This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification 500:Read error: null

I have been trying to find an option to delete my mailbox but I can't seem to find it. Been looking around and people have been saying go to essages>Options>Settings>Email>Mailboxes, but when I do not have the "Email" option. The reason why I want to delete my account is because for some reason I have not been receiving emails on my phone anymore, even when I sync it.
I am trying to set up my xpress mail account but everytime i enter my pop server i get the a message "invalid email address" Does any one know why? The email address is in fact vaild.
All of a sudden, my Alias mail account name is telling me that the password or account name is incorrect. So I go into SETTINGS as the button appears for it, and I hit it check all the settings and the settings are fine, nothing has changed. I have not had this problem in over 5 years! Is this a symptom of iCloud going full, taking over MobileMe? I cancelled my MM account 3 months back and have not had any problems. Why has this problems suddenly started appearing? I was looking at the mail in the ALIAS account from the alias account. Now I am looking at it through my main account, which is also reacting slowly due to this problem.
I'm in Uruguay (South America), my sevice provider is Ancel. I work for Tata Consultancy Services, and I want to connect to im.tcs.com mail server. The problem is that apparently I can't get my APN settings to work properly. I've called my sevice provider many times but their plain answer is that they don't offer blackberry support, even though they should be able to help me configure APN. I've also called blackberry support from Tcs, and they say that I should talk to my service provider to configure my maiil account.
I'm trying to setup a new mal account, and connect it to Exchange In the first screen I place my email adress [URL] and password After that it asked to fix the settings for Exchange

Recently purchased the Lumia 950 and while enjoying the experience of Windows mobile overall there are a few things I find restrictive.
I generally prefer a pop account. However, the lack of being an ability to manually set ports is making it difficult to set up my accounts. In fact that it is not an entirely setting IMAP account either.
I cannot log into the mail, I fill out everything and it tells me either username or password is incorrect but I know it is not. Then I go into google to verify and it works.
I am using mail with a gmail account. The bottom of the screen has an icon in the middle that looks like a box. If I accidentally click that icon the email goes into it never to be seen again.what this is and where the email goes?
I have successfully set up my O2 and Hotmail email accounts but everytime I try to set up my BT email account, it fails. Is there a way to by-pass the Email Wizard and configure the settings manually. I have the BT account set up on a 5800 and it works perfectly.
I recieved a Blackberry message stating I needed to enter my email password on the account which I have been using. I have followed the instruction by entering setup and clicking Email Accounts. On that screen it allows to me two options Internet Mail Account & Enterprise Account. However when I try and click the Internet Mail account nothing happens, it does not let me use this option. I have tried the Enterprise Account and it says "Status: initialzing service" but nothing is happening. (been like this for 30mins)
I had set up my personal emails on the "Internet Mail Account". When I tried later on to add another personal email, it gives me a message that I have to put my user name and password, however I did not put any.
When i go to setupemail accountsinternet mail account there is an email address I dont have access to their. All I can do is activate it but i cant since i dont have the password. How do i delete it.
I have a very old Freeserve email address which I'm loath to part with! However, I'm obliged to send mail using my ISP (VirginMedia) and so have to set up separate account details for the SMTP server. My M8 seems quite incapable of doing this - it claims that I have the wrong username/password most of the time when verifying. Occasionally, it accepts the details, but then still can't send mail. If I revisit the settings without changing anything, it says they are invalid again.
By comparison, my Windows desktop works fine under the same conditions, and especially my Tesco HUDL! All this using my home WiFi/wired network.
Secondary question - if you are presented with a previously entered password (blobs), does the number of blobs match the password length? I notice that my SMTP password does appear to change its length after it's been accepted.
I suddenly lost inbox/outbox Yahoo mailings on my G3 phone after Sept 2. I never changed any settings. I still can use my Yahoo Mail account on the laptop with no problem. I do notice that when I go into settings, a message states that the phone was last synchronized on Sept 2. When I attempt to re-set, the phone remains on Sept 2.
iPhone 4S. My e-mail service provider is Embarq. I am receiving e-mails, but I cannot SEND/REPLY to e-mails. I get message that recipient was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying.
Have a Mac lap top, desk top, and ipad. Just got and iphone, but cannot get my mail account started on that, because for the love of all things beautiful and simple, cannot remember my email account password.
Would one of you tech savvy persons be able to direct me on how to retrieve or change my mail account password (using other) its a .mac email address.
My mail on my iPhone was set up fine as POP, I used my Mac to get mail and only the iPhone if I was away without the Mac, so it only downloaded email not received on the Mac yet. I had to change my password with my provider (Virgin Media) and my mail account on my iPhone wouldn't recognise it even though it was correct so I deleted the account to set it up again. However, it won't give me the option of POP, only IMAP and now it keeps downloading hundreds of old emails. I just want to go back to POP! I've seen sites which show how to set up a mail account and they say "now choose POP or IMAP" but my set up never gives me that choice, it just takes my settings, verifies them and sets it up as IMAP.
