The user manual refers to certain functions that can be found by going to the home menu and clicking on - and here it shows an icon that looks like a square with lines, dots or (half) black. An example is 'data monitoring'. I can't seem to locate these icons and functions.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI bought my Xperia mini pro in order to eae my work, however i often encounter with DELAYS when taking calls or send messages or open applications etc etc etc... and on top of this the phone often get re starts or turned off. one of the major thing i suspect is that when i download applications from the anderoid market the phone internal memory is getting used for this. Hence can you please tell me when i download the applications from anderoid market as well download any files in order to utiliza the Memory Card and not to utilize phone internal memory ( which is currently happening ) what should i do ?? please let me know the sSTEPS TO FOLLOW. or any alternative to avoid these delays.

All of a sudden, all the touch functions of my xperia x8 went haywire. Now I cannot use it since it only has touch capabilities. I've tried restarting and removing battery, sim card and sd card several times but to no avail. I cannot even turn it off since the off button is also touch key. I have to remove the casing and battery every time I attempt to restart.

My son recently added a password to his iPhone. He forgot it, I have tried hooking it up to the computer we have last synched it with, and tried to restore it. I washed my iPhone 4s last week. I just got my replacement phone. I want to restore from iCloud (for my calendar) and iTunes (for everthing else like contacts, etc.) but when I try to do that it says I have to turn off "find my phone" from my old iPhone. My old phone's display is dead so I can't do anything on it. It still rings when I get a call but I can't answer it.

i have recently activated the data plan on my phone, and now i am still not able to set up the connection so i can use it on the go. when i'm connected to home wi-fi i can use the browser but not other apps like windows msger, and when i'm out even though i do have a data plan on my phone i'm not able to use the browser, or anything. i can't set up email either because the error msg keeps showing up saying i don't have the right configurations/failed to connect to server.

Message for NOKIA firmware developers.I bought a new NOKIA X3-02 and I noticed some missing functions :
- total call duration IN and OUT
- disable saving sent message
- delete all log call
- setting light for screen
- time to locking keyboard.
I deleted BB maps for Google maps. did not need two. now I downloaded smart guard for the BOLD and it needs BB maps for one of the functions, so i thought why not, so went to the BB download maps link but all I get is something called a ribbon but no map? where did I go wrong? did it twice ,still shows up in apps as a ribbon.

I bought a Nokia E72 a couple of weeks back. I did like the features of the phone and I was happy with it. I have been a Nokia user from the 5100, 3300, 3315, 3350, 8250, 3100 classic, N95, E71 and now the E72. When i record a voice conversation with the phone's voice recorder, the conversation is recorded with stutters (Hi Sanjay gets recorded like Hi Jay - San is missing).When I mute myself and then record the conversation, my voice still gets recorded (never happened with my N95 or the E71).What have I done so far.
I have registered a complaint with Nokia (been around 10 days or so), and they tell me that it 'MIGHT' get sorted in the next software update.I check at a Nokia service center locally, and they updated the software, and they dont bother to even check if the issue is solved. They had my phone for 2 days.I call back Nokia and they tell me give the phone to the service center.What am I supposed to do now? Would Nokia give me a solution? I did not pay a bomb for a phone to get such pathetic software and service. Someone at Nokia please give me an answer.
This may no be possible yet from a hardware perspective but as more and more mobile devices become available it does not make sense to have seperate data plans for each and every device (I am sure the cell providers would prefer this though) Instead what is needed is a dedicated personal wifi hotspot that is built into the phone. Not one that guts the functions of the phone when activated mind you. At this juncture the only way to accomplish this is to purchase a Dedicated Personal WiFi hotspot. If this is the direction that will be forced upon us then we might as well do all communications through VOIP and by-pass the cell carrier for all but internet access.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9700 on the Bell Network and have lost all the BB functions. Phone was working fine and then I lost all ability to access email and BBM.
The email icons are there but the BBM icon vanished along with all my other app icons (NHL, Weather, ZoomPass etc.). I've also noticed that the blackberry logo that is usually beside the 3G icon in the top right is also gone. What is weird is that the phone can still make calls, text and browse. Bell data support says everything is fine on there end. I've wiped the unit via JL_Cmder and reinstalled the latest OS 5.0.0.545 and still not working.
