I just bought my phone last week. I bought it at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.I cant type my chinese msg at all. Although it can read chinese msg. But I cant find my chinese input. Is it need to download apps or some thing?
A few things that i discovered and its bad! Comparing to E71, E72 is very bad. By the way, this is the second E72 i am using. I bought one before, same issue, now the secound one, Same ISSUE again!
Here are the problems: I need to type in Chinese (pinyin) but whenever the language is switched to Chinese input, the calculator does not allow me to input decimal (how bad this is!).
Also in Chinese mode, once back to English input, the SPACE bar input is NOT WORKING. The only way is to restart the damm phone.
I just bought the Xperia X10 mini, however I can't find the option to input Chinese when I sms. I looked thru the languages, there is no chinese option given. And i kept on having problem setting up my yahoo email in the phone too, it kep saying worng user id or password but i am sure the id and password is correct?
At the massage tools > writting language>: does not have the list for chinese language although from the application got the chinese keyboard software but it look like useless. Isn't the flaw of android 2.1? How do I change back to android 1.6?
I just upgraded my BB 9900 from OS 7.0 to 7.1 on the OS 7.0 there was Chinese input but now...I want Chinese input method on my BB 9900 OS 7.1.0.267 platform 5.1.0.230 I really need the Chinese input PS: I'm from Hong Kong and my carrier website doesn't have the support
I bought my BB Bold 9780 in France and would like to install Chinese input on it. I've seen that we can download an "ALL Language" version from the BB website, but this version doesn't exist for my French vendor.
If I download it from Taiwan, will it be any problem ? Knowing that almost everywhere in the world, the used keyboard is a QWERTY and in France, it is the AZERTY ?
Just had my Torch 9810 and realized that the older OS in Asian does have Chinese handwriting input method. My carrier is Bell?Have RIM able to provide this same software to Canadian User?
I just got my BB8530, and I am using 6.0 desktop manger. The Chinese input is shown in the desktop manger, and it is already installed, but I can't change the input language in my BB.
I was always the frustrated one, seeing leaked OS, but if I want to play with it, I had to sacrifice Chinese reading/writing ability. Well a bit of research got me into finally figuring out how to actually insert Chinese/Other Languages capability into any OS (especially leaked ones!). Mind you this is only for BB 9700. It's actually easier than I think =) Anyway, there are two ways to doing it. Installing it as a separate add-on (Simillar to BB Maps / Password Keeper type RIM app), or installing it with the OS. 100% sure the OS method works, .alx via app loader through DM seems to be a little buggy, still testing.
Not responsible if I break your BB! Language Packs: (9700 Only) Download the Chinese Language Resources RapidShare / mirror Download the Japanese Language Resources RapidShare / mirror..........
I used to be able to read and input chinese character on my Bold 9700.Few days ago, I connected my device to the desktop manager and it prompted me to update my device os to V5.0.0.593 (Bundle 1022, Platform 5.1.0.147). Ever since then, I am unable to read or input chinese characters.
I've read through the forum, did whichever I can find, and crashed my blackberry a few times as I think I loaded some 3rd party modules. I managed to wipe out the whole device and reload EastAsia pack (which I did at least 3 times) but am still unable to have my chinese characters on.
When using Skype video call the phone gets hotter and when it reaches 45 degc (battery temp) the person on the other end of the call can't hear me. My audio input is no longer being picked up.
Happens with either mic or headset use.
Typically takes around 10 mins before this happens, from cold (30 degc) start.
If I exit call and then reconnect the audio works fine again for a short period (1 to 2 mins) of time but will then stop again. If I let the phone cool then audio will work ok on next call for longer, until phone heats up again then it stops.
The user manual refers to certain functions that can be found by going to the home menu and clicking on - and here it shows an icon that looks like a square with lines, dots or (half) black. An example is 'data monitoring'. I can't seem to locate these icons and functions.
Im not liking the input keypad.. it's really hard to text when the space key is on the second option. My keypad does not have the same set up as with the ones seen on the commercial videos. There's this Pinyin?Piyin chinese language option.... I'd rather it has the space key!!!!I've been getting Keyboard applications that my friend (who has an x10 mini) but none of them are working. they dont even do any changes on my x10!and i just updated my software! guess what.. i think the T9 dictionary option is on.. and I dont even see an option to turn that OFF!.... I'm not in the US so I don't use English.....
I just upgraded to the new software, and all of a sudden I keep getting this chinese keyboard. I want my old English keyboard back, where if I press on the keyboard I get keyboard settings, not it changing into Mandarin instead. Also, my word prediction seems to have gone off, together with the new keyboard. Sigh.
I wonder if anyone could help. I am running android 2.1 update when I purchased the phone.
