The 3 buttons on the front (make call, menu, end call) don't work. This means I cannot access the menu screen and can't use any of the phones functions. Only can make calls from touch screen.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI purchased a Flipout around 3 weeks ago and at the weekend it went mental and started rebooting, luckily Orange replaced the handset for me which came today. The thing is that on this handset the three buttons on the front of the phone (the menu home and back buttons) are not back lit at all and do not flash when i receive a text or email.Have Orange basically given me another dodgy phone or is it something that I can remedy?

Or to set them to trigger something rather harmeless. My father doesn't use them that much. Besides, he finds himself pressing them too easily and oops there it goes the radio blasting through the loudspeaker.

I sent the phone off to be fixed and hey presto, I got a new fully functioning screen, but now the three buttons along the bottom do not work.

A few days ago, I started using the camera and tried to switch to the front one through Snapchat and it didn't let me. I tried to use it through the original Camera app and I didn't even have the option of the "selfie" or front camera. I reset the phone twice, deleted everything, restarted it several times and still nothing. I've tried to research the problem but found only people whose rear cam didn't work.

Appalling customer service from Sony and I'm regretting moving away from apple.

I know this isn't the first time someone start a discussion to talk about this problem, but I still couldn't find a solution in the others discussions. Since I updated my Sony Ericson Neo V MT11a to the new android 4.0 through PC Companion, I'm not able to switch to use front camera or use the face unlock. It just seems that there's no front camera on my phone. I've already tried Software Repair twice and nothing. I'm not the only one with the problem as I could see on my surfing.

The problem is that the camera function of my device seems to be damaged. My front facing camera very rarely works, the quality of my rear camera has considerably decreased and it seems that the focusing function is also broken.When I presented my problem to sony they told me to reboot the device with the latest software. This temporarily fixed the problem however the cameras were very laggy and still terrible quality! After a week the problem has got worse once again and now neither my front or rear facing camera work.

I was testing the Camera, the rear one worked perfectly fine, however when i pressed the switch button the front facing camera shutter freezed and started flickering. I have a child off to college pretty soon who uses skype video regularly with her friends and I will assume with me also. I have actually gotten the skype video to work on my little Nokia N79 fairly well and would like my next phone to also have this capability so I can talk with her when she's away but I am not near my computer.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe touch screen works, but none of the buttons work. I have restarted, I have removed the battery numerous times, but nothing. It was working this morning. No water damage, no drop damage, just stopped working. I am limited in what I can do and almost every time I want to close an application, i need to remove the battery because there is no way to close. It's very frustrating. I can still take and make calls but have difficulty even hanging up after a call!I took it to ATT and it is no longer under warranty. I may just take it in to a repair place

I've been a customer of blackberry and Telus for the past ten years.Blackberry, or Telus doesn't seem to give a care about the substandard quality of their product or their customers.I had a Storm and traded it in due to the buttons simply not working. Bought a Torch and six months later the buttons failed. Sent it in for warrantee and Telus blamed me for a problem I didn't even have to avoid the warantee until I complained so much they reoplaced it a few months back. Now this piece of **bleep** is giving me the same heartache.Called for support and they said to send it in for warrantee work. I'm a realtor and can't anmswer my phone half the time. I can't use the back button or the menu buttons. I get charged every time I send the phone back for an evaluation even though it's not my problem and its under warrantee.

After i updated to v40 my homescreen has gone nuts!
The keypad button has turned in to a long button, with "Telephone" written on, and the contacts button has turned in to, a big bar with "Contacts" written on, something like older non touch nokias.
Oh, and none of the 2 buttons actually work! really annoying.
Also, on the 5230 you get some extra buttons/shortcuts on the bottom of the screen, so did i, but they dont work, i cant apply any programs to them.
And if i choose the upper contact bar to be a shortcut bar, nothing shows up, other than empy buttons (like on the bottom of the screen) and even there, i cant apply something...
Anyone having problems with the n8 headphones. For 600 USD, i'm not impressed with the sound quality. The buttons do not work and it sounds like all the music is being played in a tunnel.

The only way for me to do things on my Blackberry is if I pull the battery, put it back in, wait for it to load, then enter my password ( using the on screen keyboard) then click one app. And once I am done with that one app, I click my red button, and nothing happens same if I click the back button!

Before the update, the two buttons on the top of the phone worked as follows:
Right button: Locked the phone (have to enter password)
Left button: Locked keyboard
After the update, the top left button locks the keyboard, but the top right button does nothing. This happened after the update.

I have a Sony Ericsson X10 mini and my problems stared last week. The phone was really slow, and just unlock the phone took 1 minute! Few hours after that the Touchscreen didn't respond and the buttons didn't work, just the lock button, and when I try to power the phone off it just come 3 alternatives Quiet mode, Flight mode and shut down, but I can't get further it just ends there and i waited 1 day to empty the battery and to update it, and i just can't update it because i can't get to the menu and put it in USB mode and the back button don't work so what should I do?
