My camera on my iphone wont work on the front or back. The top section of the iphone also gets really hot! There is no sign of any damage and it randomly occured.

Tried out my first face time call. Everything worked great except when I pushed the toggle to utilize the back camera, the person I was talking to said their image of me simply froze. They were not able to see through my back camera. When they switched to their back camera I saw everything fine.

I recently recieved a second hand Iphone 4. I was testing the Camera, the rear one worked perfectly fine, however when i pressed the switch button the front facing camera shutter freezed and started flickering. In order to get it back to the rear camera I have to reset my settings.why the front facing camera is doing this and how i can fix it.

I know this may be speculation but this may be the deal breaker for me to get the next phone. I have a child off to college pretty soon who uses skype video regularly with her friends and I will assume with me also. I have actually gotten the skype video to work on my little Nokia N79 fairly well and would like my next phone to also have this capability so I can talk with her when she's away but I am not near my computer.

A few days ago, I started using the camera and tried to switch to the front one through Snapchat and it didn't let me. I tried to use it through the original Camera app and I didn't even have the option of the "selfie" or front camera. I reset the phone twice, deleted everything, restarted it several times and still nothing. I've tried to research the problem but found only people whose rear cam didn't work.

Since I updated my Sony Ericson Neo V MT11a to the new android 4.0 through PC Companion, I'm not able to switch to use front camera or use the face unlock. My front facing camera very rarely works, the quality of my rear camera has considerably decreased and it seems that the focusing function is also broken.When I presented my problem to sony they told me to reboot the device with the latest software. So about a month ago i was getting out of my car with loose pockets, and of course my iphone fell out and cracked on both sides. I brought it into at and t today and they said i was not eligible for a warranty replacement because it only covers manufacturing problems. If i go to the apple store will i have to pay a screen replacement fee or exchange. Would it be cheaper if i replaced both screens or just traded?

I have an iPhone 4s from about 6 months, and I noticed some problems using the front camera; sometimes when I open the camera app, the screen becomes all black, and I must close the app as to avoid the problem (temporaneously). Besides there' s another problem: sometimes the camera seems to work normally, but suddenly some black stripes appear on the screen, moving from the right side of the screen to the left one (like a sort on "interferences"). The real mystery is that the problem isn't permanent, it shows only in some occasions, and I really cannot understand the reason of it.
