I know this problem was discussed in many threads, and the solution has been given, but please somewhat read my problem instead of just throwing the same solution without reading.I am not sure when this problem started, but I did clear cache by using Apps 2 SD app before.Then I realised PC Companion isn't detecting my phone.

my xperia mini st15i is not detecting any device via wifi. The wifi works when i switch it on hotspot mode and it is detected by other devices also but when i simply switch on the wifi to access internet from any wireless server neither it detects the other network nor its network is detected by other.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have purchased a new Zperia Z3 from sony store in US jersey, and I opened it in India.I have tried several SIM cards but the phone is not detecting any network.Its a unlocked device and totally free from any contract.Indian service centres say they can not repair ot as its not purchased from India. Do I need to return the phone or its a minor problem. All other things in the phone are working perfectly.

Nothing works for me. So please provide any solution if it is actually solves my problem.My problem is one fine bad day, I connected my xperia neo where PC companion is installed on windows xp is not detecting my phone.It rotates rotates rotates and finally says unable to detect phone. and asks to reconnect again.
Nothing was changed in phone or in my pc for this issue. I have tried almost all (mpt clean/cache clean/stop & start, windows media player reinstall, pc companion reintall , update service) etc etc. One thing observed is whenever I clean mtp service and stop service and connects with usb, pc companion is detecting for first time. When I remove again and reconnect, it stops recognizing phone again. CAN I GET A RIGHT SOLUTION ??How can I update to ICS if usb connection is not detecting??? And I don't have blutook in my laptop.
Basically I tried to connect my mother's n70 to my computer (vista Ultimate 32bit) using the CA-53 cable. However I was just given the prompt unknown device installed, and PC Suite was not detecting anything. So basically I had no choice but to just abandon it and try to connect my phone (5800) to the PC. However, the phone now does not detect being connected to the PC, and Ovi Suite cannot detect the phone as well. Trying it out on PC Suite, it gives me the error "No connection type available, wizard will now close" or something along those lines. Its the first time this has happened to me so I have no clue. I've already tried repairing, and uninstall reinstall but still nothing.

It usually gives an option to install the "pc comanion" software when I was using gingerbread OS.. then, I skip the installation & only use to transfer files between MMC and the PC via cable..ut, after the ICS update I couldn't do that as is pops-up with a message to install drives, and when I do so; it gives an error like below;Note: I've even installed the pc software & tried to connect, but it failed.. then I tried downloading driver from here & updated manually, but it failed too

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have installed letest version of OVI suite and OVI player.I connected my phone to PC in 'Media Transfer' mode but OVI player is not able to detect my phone. Even when I connect my phone in 'PC Suite' mode, OVI suite is not able tranfer or read tarcks from my 5800. In PC suite mode I can use Windows Media Player 11 to transfer music. I have tried this on two different systems having Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista Home Premium, but OVI player is not able to detect my phone.

Media Card Support: Yes
Mass Storage Mode: Yes
Auto Enable Mass Storage: Changed From Prompt to Yes
Newegg.com - Transcend 8GB Micro SDHC Flash Card Model TS8GUSDHC6
At the bottom it says a media card is not presently inserted in the device...
Any ideas why it not picking the memory card?
My USB ports are working for my wireless mouse and for card readers to download images. Yet when I plug in my iPhone 5S - nothing. It doesn't charge, and it won't synch or be acknowledged in iTunes. I had been synching wirelessly unitl just recently but iTunes no longer sees the phone wirelessly either. I reset the omputer's SMC, swapped cords and restarted everthing with no luck. If I plug the same phone into another Mac or to a PC, it immediately beeps and begins to charge. So I know the phone and cord are doing their part. iTunes on my desktop computer sees the iPhone and will sync with it wirelessly or wired, but it's my laptop that I need to sync it with. On the iPhone, in Settings>General>iTunes Wi-Fi Sync it lists both the desktop computer and the laptop with the last sync date, but never discovers the laptop if I choose Sync Now. The computer shows up on all other computers on the network and both the computer and iPhone are on the same, correct network. How do I get the laptop and iPhone to see each other again?? OS 10.9.3 on a MacBookPro and iOS 7.1.1Â

They have most likely NOT been removed as the SD-card was not suposed to be affected by the reset of the phone. Also I do find the apps and the files when connected to Pc. I got notification from PC Companion that ICS 4.1.b.0.431 update is available for my neo v (4.0.4). I started updating it. Since it said that personal data will not be hampered, I did not create backup of contacts, sms etc. After downloading, I got message for updating failure. Now the phone is not turning on, showing "Sony " and then exclamation mark and turning off. I have a choice to repair the phone but I'm fearing of loosing my personal data.

RoadSync cannot edit this contact" Of course it is not a RoadSync contact because there are no RoadSync contacts in my telephone (although, I do use RoadSync). How can I get rid of the message and allow the telephone to edit my contacts (some of them are stored on in the SIM and some are google contacts)?
