I am unable to connect my X10 with my laptop using wifi.I want to connect inernet from laptop to my X10. I m using wireless broadband usb type data card for internet connection.
Kindly give the solution to connect internet from laptop to My X10.
Does neo V using ICS 4.0.4 support wifi hotspot? Using connectify software I created an adhoc wifi network on my XP machine but neo V does not find it while my colleague's Samsung connects to it effortlessly.

I bought my ip4s (brand new) on the 19th of January. And it was working fine up until last week when it stopped detecting wifi networks When I turn on wifi the "finding networks" circle keeps on searching with no success even though I used to connect to same router before. I tried everything: resetting network connections, rebooting phone. I even downloaded the latest iOS software just now. The problem seems to persist and to add to that the battery is being drained quickly even though I already turned off wifi (so it ain't still trying to connect).

I've recently bought a HTC Incredible S from my service provider and was very anxious to test it out. However, after the 8 hours of charging, I turned on my new phone expecting to connect to my home network and start setting up my phone. Problem is, I can't seem to detect my home network. My laptop, my brother's laptop, my ipod touch, my family member's phones are all able to detect and surf with my home wireless network without any problems so why is it the Incredible S can't even detect the network? I am able to detect wireless networks from the units all around me, unfortunately they're all locked so i'm unable to test if connecting was possible but I'm unable to detect my own.

I have purchased a new Zperia Z3 from sony store in US jersey, and I opened it in India.I have tried several SIM cards but the phone is not detecting any network.Its a unlocked device and totally free from any contract.Indian service centres say they can not repair ot as its not purchased from India. I got notification from PC Companion that ICS 4.1.b.0.431 update is available for my neo v (4.0.4). I started updating it. Since it said that personal data will not be hampered, I did not create backup of contacts, sms etc. After downloading, I got message for updating failure. Now the phone is not turning on, showing "Sony " and then exclamation mark and turning off. I have a choice to repair the phone but I'm fearing of loosing my personal data.

So please provide any solution if it is actually solves my problem.My problem is one fine bad day, I connected my xperia neo where PC companion is installed on windows xp is not detecting my phone.It rotates rotates rotates and finally says unable to detect phone. and asks to reconnect again.
Nothing was changed in phone or in my pc for this issue. I have tried almost all (mpt clean/cache clean/stop & start, windows media player reinstall, pc companion reintall , update service) etc etc. One thing observed is whenever I clean mtp service and stop service and connects with usb, pc companion is detecting for first time. I tried resetting network settings without success.
I can connect to the laptop but DHCP doesn't auto assign the laptop an IP address so it cannot access the internet. Tried manually configuring the settings of the wireless card in windows using the same address assigned when connected via USB but it still doesn't work.
It states that subnet mask isn't compatable with ip address.

Alright, I have an iPhone4 and previously had a laptop which I used to sync my iPhone and to transfer music. I had to change to my laptop and the old laptop is gone. I did copy all my songs and contacts (as windows contacts) to a potable disc.
On installing itunes on my new laptop, I was Not able to sync over wifi (had the wifi sync optioned selected)Not able to transfer music from new laptop
I just want to retain all the apps(including progress) and the messages etc. I have a backup of my songs, so I can put them in itunes +iPhone again.
