After I Reseted and updated my phone all of my apps and files on SD-card is not recognized by the phone. They have most likely NOT been removed as the SD-card was not suposed to be affected by the reset of the phone. Also I do find the apps and the files when connected to Pc. I ahve tried to search for some cind of management for this but I have not found anything.

But I could not find a solution. On windows I can copy files on the micro sd card and delete - but as soon as I insert the card in the phone, everything is in the old condition. The micro SD card I am using is a SanDisk 200GB. I'm starting to think that this mite be a bug as I have hooked it up to my PC and the desktop detects it just fine.

I am trying to use Memory Card (same as was being used in Bold) but it is not detecting any media in it. all music & picture file are although visible if i connect Curve to my laptop & browse via Blackberry Software. View 2 Replies View RelatedFor the first two days it was working properly but after a software update of 133.33 mb for touchwiz it suddenly stopped detecting my sim card, i used the same sim card in an another phone, the sim was ok. when i tried another other sim card in the galaxy s5 it was not detecting it. Also i tried to register the mobile network but a message was displaying "insert sim card to access network". I don't know what to do now as the phone was bought from japan but m using it in India.

I bought a new xperia x8 few days a go. But i am having an issue with the built in memory card of the phone.When I tried to copy some music tracks to the sd card,about 75% of the tracks are corrupted after copying.I have tried with differnt mp3 files and most of them are not played after copied to the SD card.I believe this is a problem in the SD card,not in the phone. Will the poblem solve if i format the SD card?But there are some predefined folders inside the SD card and some of them are related with different applications of andriod OS. Is it ok to take a copy of this folders and paste it later In case, if i formatted the SD card?

So, I thought I would get a bigger card and bought a 16GB microSD card as I would like to put more games and alot of my music on it as well
How would I go about transferring or copying all the files that are on the 8GB card to my 16GB card without losing any downloaded data i.e large game files and game saves? CAN THIS BE DONE? As I am new to Android, any step by step advice would be great by the way!
One thing I did try was copying all the data on the 8GB card to a folder on my PC (whilst enabling the 'view all hidden files and folders' option in XP) and copied the folder contents to the new 16GB card (pre formatted to FAT32). I put the new card in the phone but cannot access the games without having to re-download the GBs of data needed and all my games progress has disappeared along with a few games and some needed game data. e.g NFS Hot Pursuit starts but will not play!
I recently bought an Xperia Mini Pro.
