Xperia X10 :: No Supported Files On Memory Card?
Oct 3, 2010I have transferred music to my memory card via media go,it shows it is on the card.My question is when i go through office suite in the menu tap memory card up comes the album thumbs,lost.dir,media go,music and picture folders then when you tap on any of the floders it comes up with a black screen saying "NO SUPPORTED FILES"

I have one issue with this phone...The memory card that comes with the phone is almost three-quarter filled.....so I am not able to transfer most of my songs and pictures to it...I am thinking of buying a new micro sdhc card....But I have some confusion...Should I go for a class 6 or a class 10? And what about transferring the files from my old card to the new one?? I have enough internal memory left....so I can easily transfer the apps present in my memory card to the internal storage...

I have all my data, contacts etc saved on my memory card.After the resetting my mobile when i inserted the memory card it took so long to load my data from it but my device is unable to retrieve my contacts from my memory card. its not even giveing me an option to copy or import contacts from my memory card. it is only giving me options of 1) Phone Memory, 2) SIM memory & 3) Service Number Only Before reseting it was giveing me an option of Memory Card.

Aug 15, 2014This problem is driving me insane! I've had my LG G3 for a week now. The selling feature for me was the 128GB micro sd card option. Shortly after I got the phone, I bought a 128GB card on eBay. It arrived a few days ago. Right after I got it is when the problem started. I tried moving files from my phone to the card. But then I noticed my files disappearing on the card. So I tried a smaller 64GB card to see if the 128GB was faulty. Neither of the cards have worked. I've done everything possible like reformating, erasing, restarting my phone, using a different card.

Jul 21, 2010Up until last week I was able to merrily sync my songs onto my Storm's memory card using Windows Media Player, then all of a sudden all the songs on the memory card disappeared from the Storm's media player and I could only see the songs on the phones onboard memory. However, you can see and play the files by exploring through the file system on the Storm and choosing the "show hidden" option in the folders. As these files cant be viewed through the Storm's media player, the media experience becomes very poor. Now, I noticed that if I sync the songs to the Storm using Windows Media Player AND choosing NOT to create a file hierarchy on the Storm's memory card, the songs appear correctly in the Storm's media player, with the disadvantage that the memory card becomes a bit cluttered because tracks arent sorted into folders as I have chosen not to use a file hierarchy when syncing.

Basically, my memory card is only showing a very small number of files and the rest I cannot access. Phone is N73 that caused this. Memory card is Mini SD.Ive used data cable and is still the case on the laptop, also tried memory card reader. Still exactly the same only showing small number of actual files. I can see the folder names however it says empty. But in properties it still recognizes the fact that that 1.9GB is used of 2.0GB. However I can only access about 100MB of those files.

Do I have to reformat the card & reinstall Ovi Maps, music / image files, Apps again ?

Mar 9, 2011All my media files on the memory card are hidden. When i select any of the options in Media menu, I can only access the item that have been saved onto phone memory. All the files/folders that where on the memory card have dissapereard.
When i am in Explore mode and select the Show Hidden option, I can see all my previous files/folders. All the folders on the mem card have been hidden, and thus my device cant access the files.
How do i change this attribute permanatley, restore it to what it was.

For hiding video files I am using gallery vault app. The problem is that I have a video file (wmv format) 1 gb in size on my SD card and when I try to hide the file using gallery vault or any other video hiding app the video file reduces phone memory. I was told that when a file in SD card is encrypted it is getting stored in the same destination (SD card). For eg. a file in SD would remain in SD even after hiding. So why does the files which are hidden is reducing my phones memory. I had the same problem with my S4 phone.

Apr 5, 2010Two Samsung U800, two 8GB micro-SD cards, about 6,000 files of mixed type (videos, music, pictures) in a lot of folders and sub-folders and those files are supposed to be on both memory cards in identical orders to be used in both phones. Either phone refuses to see some of the files even though they very clearly are on the respective memory card.
Reformatted the cards multiple times, uploading the files taking for ever, only to find that now some other files are "not there" according to the phone while they are pretty damn well "there" according to the computer. Pushing the sam files again via bluetooth results in "file name in use" so the phone KNOWS the files are there, just refuses to show them.

- I'm moving files, not copying so it shouldn't need any free space.
- Even if it did need free space there is more than enough available on the card.

Jan 7, 2010I am trying to move music files from the media card to the device memory. I have accessed Blackberry website and followed the instructions but my menu does not give the option to 'Move'. This is a replacement handset and apparently software etc has been upgraded since I got the previous one 7 months ago. I want to use music as a ring tone (I am also having problems downloading music but that's another story). Can anyone out there help as I am at the point where I might just flush the thing down the loo and go back to a basic mobile!

Well i run software update, even it was up to date and hey, it allmost worked. Now the music player regognises mp3 files just fine, but files that are in m4a format, (that i got most of my music) is not regognised. It cant handle them in proper way. It shows songs names, but dont put them in proper albumwiew, and wont play them at all. That´s very weird, because i had no broblem with them on my old W880i. If i go to filehandling and browse memorycards files from there, they works just fine, but that is not actually musicplayer, isn´t it! So. How can i play my music files in this MUSIC-phone i just bought?
