Recently got new sony z3, and some of the videos i transported from my samsung s3 come out really small on the screen. This happens aswell when i record the screen. This phone os magnificent, it has a massive screen...but its no use if almost all my videos are going to come out tiny!!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently got this phone and have just discovered a small dot on the top right of my phone (about 1.5cm down from the top and 1cm in from the right) and is only a millimeter in diameter. It appears to look as if it were a dust/finger print/dirt stain, but it will not go away after repeated cleaning of the screen. Under the right lighting circumstances, you can see a faint impression when the screen is turned off. Is this a dying (set of) pixel(s) or is this a factory defect out of the box?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have noticed that my lumia 1520 screen colors distort when making pressure on the screen even very small pressure, the touches pressure that cause this will be smaller if you also place your fingers at the back of the phone while pressing the opposite side on the screen... the problem exist everywhere on the screen but its largely affect the area near below the camera...
I know all LCD panels have this behavior, but I also know that this is why there is a glass in front of it which should manage to to make the pressure that causes this much much harder... I tried the lumia 920 and 720 (both have LCD panels) its very very very hard to make this color distortion and you need to make very very large pressure... This is not acceptable at all.
I have some blemishes that don't seem to be scratches, but can be seen at certain angles. I say this, because it feels smooth to the touch, but noticeble all the same. I wonder, is it possible to buff away such imperfections on the glass screen?

Since new-I have been experiencing the problem where the phone hangs and a small clock appears in the center of the screen. While this clock is there, nothing can be done on the phone-it normally lasts for around a minute or two. Once it disappears, the phone again operates as normal, however the clock appears again and I am back at the problem.

Now, I receive the full screen photo on one of my contacts, but everyone else has changed to a small banner at the top of the screen, with a very small photo in the top right corner. I downloaded some official small apps like Mirror from Google Play Store, but they just don't appear when I tap their icons on the small app manager. However, those stock small apps like Active Clip work well. Also, I tried some third-party small apps. They won't show up through the small app manager unless they can be run once through the launcher first. My Z2 is on the latest 1.232 fw.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI recently noticed that there was a lighter white mark in the center of the LCD screen, no larger than a grain of sand. It isn't a dead pixel but when the screen displays bright colours like white, cyan or yellow, I can clearly see a white mark. It's not very noticeable but I know it's there which is quite irritating. I doubt it is worthy of a replacement but it's worrying as I assume it is the components behind the screen pushing against the display. I don't know of it isn't any relevance but I noticed this after my screen was replaced for free by Sony after a different issue.

It looks like a small blue peach bubble on the top of the screen just under the date and a number next to it, i get that it’s not the new message icon, it seems to be a counter of some kind I think, I cleared all the messages i can find but it’s still there!
