Jul 10, 2011I have an Xperia X8. Whenever i watch videos on You tube, the video plays in a very small screen.It doesn't use the full screen.Kindly advise on whether this is an issue with the videos.I have to use any different player to view them in full screen if so please let me know the name of player and where I can get the player

Aug 28, 2015I have downloaded some videos from youtube, educational purposes, and when I put them onto my SD card, I get a message stating that the video type may not be supported by my phone.... Well, it should support MP4.... any ways, move the video files onto my phone. Unplug it, and check.... Yeap, videos are playing fine. No distortion, no artifacting, no sound issues... No error messages!!!
So I plug it back in, put a few more videos on, MP4 again. Then check them again. All the videos I have put on, all play without any problems. So okay, should be good for later at work.
I get to lunch time at work, think "I'll watch some of these videos" open the folder, pick a video "Cannot play video - Unsupported file type" - WTH!?
Why is it that the videos play fine after they've been put on the phone, but after 6 - 7 hours, they suddenly become an "Unsupported file type"!! From checking the videos are ALL playing fine, to when I get on my lunch at work, my phone storage is not modified / updated in ANY way, by my input. So unless the G4 is corrupting these videos, I cannot see any logical reason for why I am having this problem.

Jun 23, 2011Every now and then while listening to music, I will get about 30 seconds into a song, and it will revert back to the previous song played. It will still show the title of the song it should be playing. It doesn't matter if I use the music player that came with the phone or Winamp. Anyone else have this issue or know why it is doing this? All songs are on my extenal sd card.

Dec 4, 2012I got my phone on 11/9/12 and within the first day our so the clock had lost a few hours. I had to switch to manual and set the clock. Then I set it back to use network for time. Well today I was late for work because when I woke up my phone said 7:10 and it really was 7:40. So had I not woken up when I did I would have been an hour late for work. The tech in Store removed my antivirus apps starting I didn't need them.

I will set it for 7:00 a.m., it will show up on the screen at 7 like normal, but the sound does not play. Then, when I wake up late for work, I have a notification saying that the alarm was silenced after 30 minutes.Like all other issues, I remove the battery and restart the phone, then it works fine. However, I really don't want to test my alarm just to make sure that it will work every morning.

Previously on my Desire I could see what was causig this (was running CM 7.1)I've checked most apps I know like to do things in the background but haven't found any smoking guns.Secondly, does anyone in here use Hotmail and connect it so it does push email? Push is working fine but for whatever reason, email I read on my phone will not sync that I read it back to the server. Worked fine on my Desire. Not sure if its a Electrify or Hotmail issue.

Oct 6, 2011My music player only works some of the time and other times it gives me an error message. Also when I set ringtones from any music on my phone(ones I bluetoothed, ones downloaded from apps on the market, and also ones I copy and pasted from my computer) they will only work sometimes. Other times they seem to reset themselves and go back to a default ringtones or say unknown ringtone and will not work at all. The only ringtones that work all the time are the ringtones that came on the phone. My friend is having the same problem and the tech at US Cellular said he has had couple people come in with the same problem but they can't seem to find a solution. Also when the ringtones/music player is not working the videos in the "Help Center" on my phone will not work either. There seems to be some kind of glitch. I just want to be sure that there isn't some kind of setting wrong or something before I take this phone back and get something else because I would love to keep this phone, but it's not looking very promising.

May 18, 2011so i thought to believe that the atrix was capable of 720p video playback. i tried to test it by downloading a hd Internet video @ 720p. then i transferred it to my atrix via usb cable. when i tried to play the video it just gave me an error message telling me that it couldn't play it. i was a bit disappointed to see that it's having problems. now, i'm not sure if it's the default video player, software issue, or hardware issue? either hd video couldn't play or it just freezes while audio plays?

Aug 26, 2011i can not view/play videos on facebook; neither from the browser or the app. i can play Internet videos and vimeo videos on facebook. it seems to be only ones labeled hd. when i called verizon about it, they sent me another phone. the problem did not go away. i assume it is a setting somewhere that i can not find. it does not give me an error message. it simply says: "error file cannot be displayed or played." i believe they are all in .mp4 i tried downloading another video app to see if it could play them. it can not do it either.

Someone suggested a factory reset so I done that and it made my phone worse (froze all the time and took ages to start up) then someone suggested to wipe the cache partition? So I done that and it worked for less than 20 mins and went back to the same issue. Sometimes the start up sound works but barely ever. Can't even hear sound on phone calls.
