Every now and then while listening to music, I will get about 30 seconds into a song, and it will revert back to the previous song played. It will still show the title of the song it should be playing. It doesn't matter if I use the music player that came with the phone or Winamp. Anyone else have this issue or know why it is doing this? All songs are on my extenal sd card.

I.e., when travelling to a different time zone, the local time is used by the phone.Problem: The time in all calendar items are adjusted to the time zone travelled-to, not the value orginally set. Therefore the time of an airline flight is advanced (or reduced), and does not reflect the time that the flight actually departs.. a problem.One work-around is to leave the phone time setting to home time, but then the phone can't be used in place of a watch.Is there a setting in the calendar function that ignores current phone time?

I just figured out how to use my mac to sync to my MOTOROLA ATRIX 4G. in itunes i made about 20 playlists since i have more music than space available, then i used the motoblur software to sync, only about 6 playlists went over but it says 4.6 gigabytes transferred and i had 10gb available so that doesn't explain where the rest of the music is, the error that pops up says only 12 songs won't transfer due to their file types....so why doesn't it all transfer?...furthermore not all songs are available for instance 1 artist had a few albums in the playlist but only 6 songs are there for that particular artist, some of these are not iTunes downloaded files either, they are mp3 not mp4 for instance...so it's a mixed bag of files from different sources so i can't peg it that for instance only iTunes purchased music works vs. music i converted from cd's eons ago.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI synced all songs in my iTunes with my new Motorola Atrix 2. It downloaded all the songs to my 16gb microsd card. When I play songs on my music player with my headphones, the music will stop randomly. Some other times it won't stop and will play for a long time. I had a feeling it was somehow related to turning the screen off using the power button after I start my playlist but I am not sure about it. Again with this case, sometimes it stops and other times it would play correct. There are some apps as on my auto-end list but music player isn't one of them

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have motorola atrix with motoblur and no matter what music player app i install on it, they all exit silently after certain time, usually less than 2 mins. it happens always and it frustrates me. i earlier thought that only default music player is profanity removed-- but it turns every player has this issue.Will at&t replace this phone?

It switches to night around 1800EST and back to day colors and brightness at 0600~ish. too dark at twilight and too bright first thing in the morning. Maybe use the light sensor included in the hardware? Or have a day-light savings setting? Or just use the light sensor. Is there a way to adjust when the "Auto" happens?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen using download option "Headers Plus", attachments are not downloaded by default. So far so good. When I receive a small (<80Kb) attachment (*.doc). I can enable option "download" for this attachment. When I subsequently sync my nokia e71 with my remote mail account (gmail) the attachment is still not downlo aded. Ony after quite some time (5-10 minutes) the attachment is downloaded and it can be opened. Same thing for a very smal *gif attachment. Is this normal behavior?By the way, I would prefer downloading small attachments always. Maybe a nice improvement for an upcoming release of messaging?

my phone takes very very long time to send pictures on phone via gmail. I have sort of good connection and i tested uploading pics on facebook and picasa with out any problem, but with gmail it just stays at sending and some times it even don't show that status in gmail client. It is so frustrating. I have reset my phone manytimes and I have updated software.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I create an appointment (am using the stock calendar on my Atrix), about 20% of the time it decides to use the Mountain Standard time zone instead of the Centrral Standard time zone that I am in. The time zone is set to Central in both the settings for the phone and the settings for the calendar. Anyone else seeing this problem?
Am running the latest updates and have relatively few apps installed as my phone is used for business instead of personal and fun. Also, am running on an Exchange Server, but since the calendar is setting the time zone for the appointment incorrectly (I check the time zone before even saving the appointment), it's not a prolem with the Exchange Server or with sync.
Multiple times throught the day my BB wil have a little time clock icon that shows up and while it's there the phone is delayed and I can't do anything with it until it goes away. I found a thread that suggested that I make sure I check all my running apps, which I did and shut down all but the defaults and the icon would still pop up. Is anyone else having this problem or know of a solution to this?

The little blue circle keeps turning, states "it is checking for system updates" and then gives me the above Black Bordered window- (Question Listed above-)

View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently got this phone and have just discovered a small dot on the top right of my phone (about 1.5cm down from the top and 1cm in from the right) and is only a millimeter in diameter. It appears to look as if it were a dust/finger print/dirt stain, but it will not go away after repeated cleaning of the screen. Under the right lighting circumstances, you can see a faint impression when the screen is turned off. Is this a dying (set of) pixel(s) or is this a factory defect out of the box?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI came over when the Palm Pre faded away. So far I have found ways to tweak everything I thought needed tweaking. However, there is one thing I'd like to change that I haven't figured out.
Occassionally, such as when attempting to install an app for which there is insufficient space (not sure why I got that message, there was plenty of room), the phone will briefly popup a small message. However, this message is entirely too small, displayed too briefly, and for some reason fairly transparent. Even when I do notice it, I am rarely able to read it before it fades away.
Is there some way to configure this message to be more useful?
I've searched a couple threads, but was wondering if anyone can reccomend a small projector to use in conjunction with the xoom? I was really hoping a Pico would be compatible, however, the only ones I have found seem to be able to handle 1080i, but will not display from a 1080p device.

View 5 Replies View RelatedAlthough the browser is significantly improved from 3.0, it still has the distinction of being the only app I've seen with bizarre graphics effects. They don't happen with the same frequency as before 3.1 but they are still pretty freakish.Just a few minutes ago, I wanted to post about the delay switching between apps, and I woke my tablet up, hit the home button (leaving the apps market) and flipped over to my bookmarks screen and tapped the one for Motorola Forum. I was presented with a screen which flickered extremely rapidly between a partially rendered apps market and the browser. This continued for maybe half a minute, until the apps market finally won out. The browser must have died, since it was not in the recent apps list when I then checked it. However, the usual dialog to force close or report was not given.
I launched the browser again, logged into this forum, and tapped start discussion, and I was given the form to do so, but when I tapped the subject textbox, it did not render the typical focus border and flashing caret, and even though the keyboard (I use swipeIt) would let me enter words, they were not being displayed in the textbox (although tapping the textbox again, positioned the caret as if there were characters in the box)
Anyone notice that when using Factory widgets for the time and weather that the time doesn't update? It work fine before GB. I uninstalled it and then tried the moto and Verizon widgets the work fine.

What I am refering to is, the device OS is working but I try to open apps and nothing is happening, I can hit the home key and the apps button and they work but opening any apps nothing will happen. Sometime the apps will partialy open but sit there.
What i noticed when this is happening is the device is syncing. I am assuming it is doing my facebook, picasa, you tube, and twitter sync. Somethimes it recovers and works and sometimes it has the sync symbol an hour later and I have to reboot the device.
I have some blemishes that don't seem to be scratches, but can be seen at certain angles. I say this, because it feels smooth to the touch, but noticeble all the same. I wonder, is it possible to buff away such imperfections on the glass screen?
