all of a sudden i am now unable to view any videos on my se xperia ray.whether it be a video which is stored on my mobile or one that is on Internet etc. i am unable to see-anything but a green screen.there is sound when the video is playing but no picture. how to return the mobile to factory settings?
View 1 Repliesso i've been reading the forums and googling and whatnot, and i found out that my blackberry should support: .avi, .mp4, .mov, and .3gp video files. video files are currently .m4v because of itunes, but i renamed a test video to the 4 above (unless i'm supposed to fully convert them?!), and none of the videos worked. i've tried uploading with media manager, as well as simply dragging and dropping onto my memory card. before, i was able to drag and drop my files onto the memory card, and the videos would play perfectly (i never even had to change the extension!)(also related: i've never been able to play Internet videos!) note: i uploaded a video i took from my point-and-shoot camera (.avi), and there was only sound!

I've a N8 but the Nokia Maps just don't want to work properly. When I start the software, it just shows a blank green screen and the GPS light is blinking. But I can't see any maps... It did work a few days ago but now it stopped working out of the blue. I updated the maps but the problem was still there. Then I deleted the cities folder and then I tried the new Beta version of the maps. Problem is still there... The nokia server is also correctly defined.

Just bought a Z5, was so happy with my Z2, but......big big desilusion. it looks like USB DAC are not supported anymore..
I went to usb menu, and the dac is detected, but can't have the sound go through it...
Shortly after I purchased my Xperia Play (Verizon) I did the update and everything was fine (2.3.3). Now when I try to take pictures they only show up with a green tint kind of like having night vision. It's doing this for both the front and rear facing cameras. It shows up in the preview as well.Also, when I try to send out texts it only says "Sending" they never get sent, but I can receive texts any time. I've been contemplating doing a restore to it but I don't want to waste my time if it doesn't fix anything and I definitely don't want to go through installing everything again.

View 3 Replies View RelatedCan someone help me to put out the green LED indicator on top of my phone.Nothing helps me to put it out. Things I have done to solve this irritating issue:
- Hard reboot (remove battery and put phone on again).
- Soft reboot (log off and on again.
- Restore factory settings.
- Go to Options>Screen>LED indicator from on to off.
What else can I do to get rid of this irritating light? It just never goes out and now I cannot see any new incoming messages or phone calls (a red LED indicator should appear, but this is not the case anymore).
Recently, I have been dealing with the problem of not being able to play videos on my HTC One. It is a Verizon version, using Android 4.4.2 and Sense 6, not rooted.
I am not able to play videos in YouTube, Chrome, or even videos I have taken with my own camera. For YouTube videos, it gives me a loading screen, then says, "There was a problem while playing. Touch to retry." When I try to play my own video, it tries to load, then gives me the HTC error message, saying, "Sorry, this video cannot be played." The same happens in Chrome.
The interesting thing is, some days I'll be able to watch a few videos just fine. Then after a couple I try to watch another and it gives me the error message. So I'm not really sure what is happening.
It wont play all my videos, just a few of them. All my videos are MP4 and 3GP-files, so I wonder what may be wrong with the others...size, frame (or something)? It's weird because it's playing files about 6 000 kb, but not 300 kb. Where's the logistic?

When I am trying to play any mp4 videos in a default player, appears a error "Can not play video." I tried to intall other players from market, but nothing, same problem. Also, its not a problem with video files, because I asked my friend to try playing the same mp4 videos which my X10 Mini can't play and he had no problems with them... All videos played correctly in a default player.
Also I tried to reinstall OS, but problem still exists.

I have a problem in viewing my audio files that have a WMV extension, I know that xperia x8 does not support all extensions and so I downloaded many media players but they all didn't do the job and some of them ask me to download a codec. I don't know where to find the codec to download it and what is its extension. All that beside my biggest problem that I cant access the android market application.

Usually I can scroll up and read all our texts in seperate boxes. I have the bb torch 9800. This is what I see: from the main screen click on test messages. It shows as a green bubble as if it is a draft message and 4 characters that I don't ever remember typing. But when I click on the message all I see is their reply message to me but can't see the 4 characters from the supposedly draft message that shows in the list of text messages. Also there is no box at the bottom to type my reply. If I go back to the list of text messages and click the bb button I can click reply but when I do once again all I see is their message but still no 4 characters of the draft message or text box for me to type in.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI successfully upgraded to Android 2.1 on my Xperia x10 Mini Pro. After the upgrade everything works beautifully except 2 things.
1> I am unable to play any online videos. When I try loading the video it does not load the control for it and shows a small square block like a Lego brick. Looks like the browser is missing some add-on like Flash or something. Have tried installing Flash for the browser but it said Flash is already installed.. Have tried downloading a different browser, like Opera but that does not help either.
2> This is not very important, but for some reason the alarm does not work any more. I can set the alarm on the phone. It shows that the alarm is set for a particular time but when the time comes it does not ring. Have tried using different applications for this but those don't work either.

Now let me explain the list of tasks i did in order to get it back to work but invane 1- Tested a new touchpad 2- Software update 3- Software downgrade 4- Deassembling and reassembling
i think i didn't miss anything but still its not responsive. It does sometimes response but if i do restart battery pull, open back case its unresponsive again. According to my knowledge its not a hardware issue as if its hardware and need new one i already tried that its software issue and it seems that entire screen is selected when i try to neviggate through the gaming keys. I am still unable to belive that sony ericsson has still not provided any fix for the issue. If anyone has any idea or any third party software for screen please advise.
My Nokia asha 200 does not play mp4 videos.
